80's and 90's had some awesome rock bands. Not much out there now, back then there were so many bands to choose from.
man..what a shame. I think the biggest shame is most of these 80's/90's hair bands were type cast and couldnt break the glam rock 'stigma' ...BUT they are/were some of the best guitarists and vocalists ever ... listing to some old power ballads, those guys could shred.

Lead singer Jani Lane died earlier this month.. didnt read about it till today
"On August 11, 2011, Lane was found dead, with half a bottle of Vodka and a prescription medication at a Comfort Inn hotel in Woodland Hills, California. He was 47 years old.[10][11][12] Lane is survived by his wife, Kimberly; a brother, Eric; three sisters, Marcine Williams, Michelle Robinson and Victoria Oswald-Ley; a daughter from his first marriage, Taylar Lane; a daughter from his second marriage, Madison Lane; and two stepdaughters, Ryan and Brittany."
WIKI says: Tight rolled pants was a fad of the 1980s and early 1990s in which girls and boys would tight-roll the bottoms of their jeans or any pants that they wore. On full length pants tight rolling is performed by taking up the slack around the ankles at the hem of the pants, folding the extra material over and then rolling upwards 2 or 3 times over. A proper tight-roll should have the extra material folded inward across the lower shin. The use of safety pins was key to a good roll, but to the experienced tight roller they can be achieved without them.

Sweet Mullet!
A mullet is a unisex hair style that is short in the front and long in the back. The mullet began making appearances in the popular media in the 1960s and 1970s but did not catch on with the masses until the early 1980s
