Hey ILVMNY,
I still play a mixed bag.
Losing on COV a bit. Nice gains on BP and watching HPQ.
I am keeping a close eye on SBAY, but the trend appears lower at the time.
Still holding my NRI on the Toronto exchange with a nasty loss.
Sitting on some handsome gains on MUTM.(have not sold and probably will hold some of my shares).
I still have a habit of playing the pennies.
I should go all in on QMIN, LOL!
I don't know if I could ever hold long enough for a ten bagger. I watched MOPN fly but didn't buy.
How's it going, ECC? Let's see. I've gotten burned on VECT, GBOE, TSNP. I really know how to pick them. I am done with subpennies for good this time. I've got 2k in VECt I can't even get out. They went gray. I'm done with it. Nothing under $4 bucks for me. But I'm going to wait for some market direction before I buy, even if it's next year. There's some great deals out there for a double or triple down the road, but the pipe dream of a 10 plus bagger for me just isn't going to happen. lol
I hope that's a good thing. lol
I will say the past two weeks have been a full court press....;)
Hope the daytrading is going well.
Forcast,
Probably building the RS up to around 11,000, stagnating and falling sharp in October.
They really juiced the markets with earnings and guidance.
You got it.
Actually, I already have been. Work is a dieing beast...so I had to put it out of it's misery....lol
Are you going to trade full time?
I have been flipping in the aftermarket....some really good swings. One day TZA, the other two TNA....lol
Take it to the bank...
PS, my last official day of slavery is Wednesday!!! WOOHOO!
Those are my two favorites, too. And right now, I'm loaded to the gills with TZA. I see the markets taking a serious nose dive right here. Then, it'll be back to TNA.
Yup... just wait for the fourth quarter crash. With the capital gains tax rising next year and an increase to that due to Obama-care, people are going to be dumping their stock like crazy. TZA will again be a great one to hold. 10% swings per day? Yupper! I'll take that any day of the year.
I made a ton off TNA and I sold right after the bump after BP news and Intel....;)
However, I'm not so sure that the markets are going down just yet.
I'd even think about wagering a possible double top by mid August....
Just a hunch, but I'm playing cautious. Something is telling my gut that the housing data this week won't offset decent earnings and Europe is going to fluff the bank data on Friday.
Everything is in cash ready to pounce. I am really lovin' these 10% tna/tza daily swings.
If what I think holds true, 4th quarter will doom the market.
Someone predicted 5000. That would be a good time to catch a bounce.
Maryland has an inactive fault for the most part. But we had a 3.6. It wasn't strong at our house but we felt it. It was my first.
That one in Ontario made the buildings here in Boston sway.
Shortie is feeling pretty good.
you had an earthquake on the East Coast? Odd. Ontario has a 5+ a couple weeks ago as well,.
The only time I have ever felt earthquakes was when I was in Vancouver/Victoria British Columbia.
Felt my first earthquake tremors this morning. I thought, that felt like an earthquake, but then logically assumed it was a plane. Then on the news, 3.6 quake had hit.
We have had a couple days of it. Air temp 85 feels like 100, no afternoon thunder to cool the air
It is cooler today as showers and thundershowers are forcasted.
I live within 5 miles of the ocean so I get some fog in the late evening to keep the ground moist and the temps cool for sleeping.
Ontario and Quebec got most of the hot weather.
Humidex=Feels like temp
Did you get any of this heat wave? I know it went as far as NY, but don't know if King or you are getting it. It's been horrible. Grass is dead everywhere. I thought we had enough rain this year to not have to worry about water for a long time, but it dries up fast. At last, some relief today. Cooler temps with some rain. I only like rain when I'm sleeping, but today, I celebrate it. lol
I'm calling a mid week to next week flip/flop up kind of how you have the iii to iv. I think there might be some earnings surprises next week.
Time to start thinking about buying some TNA and FAS. I'd really like to see another week down first to really bring my spirts up...lol....
See you on the other side.
The only difference is that people were thinking that the economy was doing better. Now people believe that the economy is tipping into recession.
It is only a matter of time.
With nine of the last ten days closing lower, the Price of the VectorVest Composite has now moved lower for the second consecutive week and the Color Guard is drowning in a sea of red ink. Yes, but are there any signs of hope anywhere? Of course, there's always the chance of a dead-cat bounce, but more seriously, the Price of the VectorVest Composite closed today at $22.59 per share, which is $0.11 per share above the closing low of $22.48 set on February 8, 2010. If it closes lower than that, it's "Katie bar the door." With two red lights and a DnDn situation:
How are things going King?
Futures down I see.
It is a holiday here today so I got a chance to catch up on the markets. Its been hard to watch and play the markets when I have been away.
We'll see. Looks like the China PMI numbers disappointed...
I think it really goes into what earnings season is looking like. I might have to agree that earnings will probably be good, however, companies are making as much revenue as possible this year, because next year is the OWEBAMI Guillotine....
Definatly bounced on the neckline today...
Good article. Already slappin' the flim/flams stating that economy is ok....I'd say double dip is an 80% reality....

TZA PUT to CALL ratio is pretty low last week.

Not yet, back home later this week
Have you completed all your travels and back home?
I see that QMIN is now QMIND after another R/S and new name. Will it ever end?
I feel -- like something bad's coming in the near future.
I did that two years ago. I'll be going all out in the short way in about a month. It's just a matter of time when all this future spending will come home to roost.
The drop should start around mid July. I'll be loading my shorts again in a few weeks. Yes, 6000 is very possible.
Market commentary:
Looking here for the S&P to retreat a bit before a push to the 1150-1170 area to complete the right shoulder. Then, it's lights out at the markets will crash.
US futures are bouncing around like a Harlem Globetrotter basketball.
I have never been to Palm Beach. I am sure I will get there someday, most of the older Canadian flock to Florida for the warm weather, I got a few years yet. I have been to Kissimmee for vacation once.
Damn Chicago won't let Philly get in the game.
No comment on the Brits.
It is a big mess from what I can see. I have been through the Mississippi River Delta and up to New Orleans in the past. There are lots of areas where if the oil pushes in I can't see how they will clean it.
BP is paying dividends but it appears they have not done much to help out those who's livelyhood have been disrupted.
Only time will tell how much damage this will cause.
The Euro and Nikkei are dropping like BP's popularity!
ECC, our hometowns are Gulf Shores AL and Penscola Beach. All our family and friends are there. My whole family is in the shrimping business. Our communities depend on tourism. I don't know what's going to happen. It's so scary. We are planning to return within a year. :(
I live on the East side....in a deluxe apartment in the sky....lol
I live just north of Palm Beach, but this oil slick is going to make a mess of Florida too if they can't cut the spickot.
We kicked the Brits out in 1783 and it is high time we do it again!
90's are nice for a little while,(like a winter vacation). I suppose you get used to it. I find it hard to sleep when it gets that hot, my electric bill for A/C would put me in the poorhouse.
Well now that I am home it is back in the 60's-70's, much better. I had a great time in NYC, some guy who's son lives in Whistler Toronto called me a Commie.(I guess he knows of two places in Canada LOL).
I have to go to Virginia for the next two weeks, may be time to hit the beaches.
I am not sure what side of FLA you live on Buckster I am sure that has been a lot of talk of oil down your way.
lucky you....
I'll have 90's from today till' October....
In the mid Atlantic we get the best and worst from the north and the south. Tomorrow will be 92 and then Friday 69. We get a north trough of air and a southern trough of air. It's crazy. :)

The HALL is a plain jane generic board where I post stocks based on a stocks heartbeat, a simplistic method I use. It's all based on finding a stock's bottom with an anticipated rise within a few days to a week or so. No hype necessary nor tracking of winners/losers nor fancy lines, triangles, zigzags, analysis, etc. Just the heartbeat. Stocks posted will be added/removed without notice and at my own resolve. CAUTION: Some of the picks posted may already be in play and past what I consider the buy in. Please refer to the postings to see or ask if that's the case. Also, for an easy understand training of the heartbeat, I have put up 2 sticky posts, 1 that explains the stock heartbeat and 1 that has an example. It ain't prefect but it has a high level of success. And remember, always take profit because profit is profit and will always keep you in the game. And finally, one last word of caution is to always remember that the overall market can and will void out any picks during times when the market is cycling downward.
Good luck!
