FDATRADER........here's a bass for ya, caught in freshwater too..........
Ok...I know there are Bass fisherman out there! Isn't anyone on the water yet? Ok, let me start. Hooked and landed a sweet 8# Bass last month. Nothing of bragging size since, but am going up to one of the great Bass fisheries in the US, Clear Lake, next Wednesday. Will try to hook something of worth. As always, I will be fishing with my great buddy of 30 years, who makes his living as a fishing guide. If anyone wants to check out his site, it is

Uh Oh.... I thought the truth was optional here.
Hey, hey, hey.....Investorman, WELCOME to the truth will set you free board......!
Hi Buck - I don't know squat about fishing but I thought I would drop in from time to time. Since everyone knows that fishermen are experts at embellishing on the truth, I do know how to do that..... lol.
Jalapeno...LOL! He's suppose to be HUGE! for a betta that's why they have him on the cam...and that's a female in there with him LOL!
Looks like a Betta! lol
Me thinks he's bored....
Jalapeno...I have another cool link for the fish folks who want to rest.....

Thx. for the info. I will have to take a look at mine and see what the draw on watts is, then do some calculations as well.
Oops my mistake, I said 1200 gph, I must have been thinking about the bilge pumps on my bigger boat....the pond pump is 300 gph similar to this one but an older model.
http://www.littlegiant.com/framenav-pumps.html
Draw is 100 watts and using BC Hydro's calculator if I run it 24/365 my cost for a year is $52. So I was right with the pennies a day... .142 cents/day. 873 kWh/year.

Temp the same, more size of house, 1/2 the last one, and newer... so better insulation, windows etc.
Well, then my guess on geographical location must have something to do with the electrical bill. But since I have to fish I have to pay !!! LOL !!! Dam utility companies......
Yes 24/365. I figure the bulk of my electric bill is heating (we have no gas, heat is electric and an airtight woodstove), lights, fridge, stove, freezer etc etc, so the pump has to be very minor.
I don't know anything about the differance in electric bills, that is if there are any depending on where you live. But I do know that when I run my bait pool 3 months out of the year it costs me in the neighborhood of aprox. $100 a month.
I also run my pump non stop. One question for you though. Do you run the pump 24 hours a day, 365 days a year ?
pennies I guess....I have no idea, my total electric bill for the year for the whole property including the house was under $1000 compared to well over $3000/yr for my last house in Vancouver so I don't really care how much the little pump costs.
Man that sounds really neet !!! If I may ask, how much does it cost to run somthing like that ??
