Good morning all.
CAn anyone tell me, or tell me where I can find out, what the "bid" and "ask" prices are, what they mean, how they correlate, what I should look for, the positives and negatives?
Thanks,
You guys rock
RS and R/S are in the Ibox.
Phil
Gotcha. Thanks.
reverse split, not a good thing imo
R/S?
I was reading a board about a subpenny that was trading at .0002, and somebody posted they might do the dreaded R/S.
What does that mean?
TIA
OZ
a rule/list by the sec which shows orders that failed to deliver, usually for errors of some sort I do believe. I think it has to be more than 10K shares or more than .5 of the co's o/s to be on that list
A 9 year old...
Money,
Whackers don't usually come individually, they gang up in an attempt to drive the price down. It may not be a Naked Short attack but can be a concerted effort to drive the price down.
Watch for pressure on the bid side.
Take Care,
Darklady
Whackers, they do this on purpose? are they just being *holes? Or just don't know any better?
Hi where can i go to learn the in's and out's of trading lottos?
someone who sells at the bid, which brings the pps down...hence - whack, instead of selling at the ask which keeps the pps moving...
LOL, my answer probably wasn't it then, maybe someone else will have one for you
Theres a couple guys on the google spng board who always uses it after everything. When asked they kind of avoided the answer. So I dont know but thanks for trying.
advisory services and investment training? I don't know, I was just making a guess! Sounds good though LOL
more than likely...
Is that how they set their friends up cheap?
private stock offering...where a company sells shares privately to an investor which aren't restricted and don't have to be reigistered...fraudsters take advantage of rule 504 as it's a way to obtain a vast quantity of shares cheap that can be sold later at a higher pps
F.U.N
I'll be saying F.U.N to stock promoters this year and others who PM me with worthless blah blah blahs.
DD Tech n9ne
a person here LOL, plus "momentum"
EOY - end of year

Ask the board what it means.

SAR - Stop And Reversal chart indicator i.e. Buy/Sell indicator. Mainly used to set a trailing stop.
I wasn't correcting you, I was simply adding to your post.
Thanks for the help in my absence.
Phil

"Painting the tape"
Something that often happens with low liquidity stocks. The EOD price can often be raised or lowered significantly by only a small dollar amount at the end of the day. Or in after hours trading someone will buy or sell just a few shares to "paint the tape" with a higher or lower price, as desired. Often the share will be traded between two accounts held by the same person or related persons. It is a type of manipulation.
Something I never get! LMAO
Do MM's and traders actually buy and sell in premarket trading (NASDAQ).
I tried to do it this morning and failed.
When a stock will go up 10x what it currently is

These scandals, which cost investors billions of dollars when the share prices of the affected companies collapsed, shook public confidence in the nation's securities markets. Named after sponsors Senator Paul Sarbanes (D-MD) and Representative Michael G. Oxley (R-OH), the Act was approved by the House by a vote of 423-3 and by the Senate 99-0. President George W.
