I tried to pick up some more shares today on Scottrade and they were not selling shares there either. I hope they contact them also to open this thing up. FWIW since CPPT is changing there name and assuming a new cuspid number ALL the shares that were shorted must be called in soon. So the shorts MUST cover before the change occurs. They have to buy some time soon and bang......this will be how the instant price appreciation takes place. Especially if the current stock holder can hold onto there shares without being tempted to take profits on the first 100% price move. As they say on planet Vulcan.....GO LONG AND PROSPER.
You in this Wang?
Correct! Readjusted potential PPS targets
The last PRs mentioned a fee of $2.5MM for a project. When I spoke to the IR guy (whose name is at the bottom of the press releases) I asked him if the company could anticipate doing 50 jobs a year. He said 50 or more. I asked if $2.5MM was an average fee for a job, and he said yes. Note: This estimate does not include any revenue from any mining project participation, nor any "success fees" as mentioned in recent PRs.
50 jobs performing STeP prospecting would give CPPT gross earnings of $125MM/year
For profit, I am being very conservative, and estimating only 10%. Industry standard is at least 28%, and some firms may exceed that level of profitability.
Multiplier for the gas/oil services industry is 10-21. I will use 10, again to be conservative. Multipliers are often higher when there is growth in an industry, which I believe there is for technology like CPPT's. Nevertheless, I'll use the lower number
Finally, OS is 55MM
Rough gauge of target share price for CPPT:
$12.5MM/55MM = .23
x 10 (base industry multiplier)
= $2.30/share
if profit margin is higher (28% industry standard)
$35MM/55MM = .636c
x 10 = $6.36/share, x 20 = $12.72 share
I include that last scenario in case excitement about the technology builds, and industry penetration and revenue growth is forecast to exceed expectations
Great post, except I thought the o/s was 55 mil.

Creede, some calculations of potential PPS targets

No way, no how. I tried. Finally had to have a friend buy for me through his account, and I'll settle it later.
Ameritrade may be short shares, because they are the only ones with the restriction, and there is no reason whatsoever for it.
I alerted the company, and their corporate attorney has faxed them and attempted to contact them to clarify any concerns. But they won't respond to him.
I don't think this is about any concerns, except that they don't have shares to sell....
Are saying that shares can't be purchased through Ameritrade?
CPPT: the joys of buying at the bottom
Today there has been some boredom selling, but the ask won't drop, on the contrary, it went up, and the bid remains where ot was, with HDSN joining on the bid.
People just jostling for a seat, but when news of new contracts and the type of revenue for this year become apparent, these levels will be history
CPPT L2: look at all the mirror trades...that guy might be right about the MMs being short shares the reason for the Ameritrade restriction.
After all, we've done 11 times the usual volume in just one day
Good, please let us know
thanks - rang them
i have resent off my email to someone directly. sounded helpful.
Correct Moscow Phone Numbers...
Try these:
Phone: +7495 956 5261,
fax, : +7495 956 5262
by the time I called it a night, we were over 700 reads.
At least we are way past that and I just noticed POST 100 yea!
Too funny! I hadn't even noticed that. "Boo!"
Yeah SL that 666 is pretty scary LOL
thanks but i was referring to the gap down from a buck something.
the good part is holding .20 cents so strongly but i guess volumes are relatively light.
watchin closely.
As for the quick pop and gap down Stock Lobster already provided a very reasonable rationale:
"The former IR person they had only released their PRs to the NYC, Boston area. Apparently, he got a small group of investors in for the pop, and, the news of earnings or revenues was never circulated or got coverage."
With heightened market awareness, in addtiion to contracts presumably on the brink of coming to fruition, there really is no reason to believe that CPPT will be staying at these drastically depressed levels.
thanks folks - i gathered the good news but reckoned that there was good news in sept and it didn't hold.
good point about over a buck - but it gapped down to twenty - that's a strong negitive. are there different reasons for the gap down?
cheers.
Also, I believe anyone who bought in the past day or two has bought at the bottom of it's range. If there is an uptick, I expect people to take profits, but I also think there will be people holding on for the longer term.
The fundamentals still look good. Maybe it wasn't ready to run before. If they can issue more news like the last one about contracts received, projects delivered, I think the market will react favorably.
Fair question, Beanburger. In addition to what Lobster already said, have you read the most recent PR? Some seriously promising news as well as forward-looking events which clearly suggest that CPPT is grossly undervalued at .20. From the most recent PR (emphasis mine):
"We are proud that one of the world leaders in off-shore oil and gas exploration recognizes the value of STeP(R). Our technology will enable our client to more effectively and efficiently exploit its exploration efforts and achieve substantial time and dollar savings," said Roman Rozenberg, CompuPrint's Chief Executive Officer. "We have already demonstrated that we can help substantially reduce the number of dry holes in off-shore drilling. We are optimistic that our STeP(R) technology will open more opportunities to work with this client and other major exploration companies. The Company is currently in negotiations with several potential clients to render services."
Plus, couldn't we also say that the company used to consistently trade over $1.00 and what's to say that won't be the case again soon?
The former IR person they had only released their PRs to the NYC, Boston area. Apparently, he got a small group of investors in for the pop, and, the news of earnings or revenues was never circulated or got coverage.
folks,
it popped on 9/11 and drops shortly after.
what's different now?
why do you think it will pop and stay there?
sl- thanks i will call them later.
Im going to lighten up some other holdings and add to my CPPT early if the money clears quick. This looks as if it could run away at any time. Sorta scary.
Call the NY number and ask for the current Moscow number. Eric told me their entire website is being designed. It also has the "latest" press release as one from 2005.
Apparently they hired a new person to re-do their Investor Relations, web-site, etc. Obviously the old person was not on top of things.
tried to ring the russian phone number this morning and its dead.
hmmm...
680 reads of this board after midnight, #3 on the list.
Wonder what this means for tomorrow's trading? I'll find out soon enough, I guess.
hehe...take a look sports fans:
Look at #9 on the list....
CPPT >>> This One Is Gem, Kids.
I saw abunch of chatter on the boards the last couple of days concerning CPPT and decided to give it a closer look, especially after today's very strong performance. Here is the relevant info I found (cribbing in large part the hard work done by I-Hub's Stock Lobster):
1) Share Structure: 55MM OS, 61MM AS, 6.3MM Public Float.
2) Product: Exclusive licensee of formely classified russian military technology which unearth's hidden mineral, energy and water resources beneath the earth's surface with extreme accuracy -- over 75%.
3) No debt: A recent PR sets forth the particulars of a transaction whereby CPPT removed all debt.

http://home.businesswire.com/portal/site/google/index.jsp?ndmViewId=news_view&newsId=20060925005....
4) Gold, Oil, Diamonds, Metals: CPPT's technology is invaluable for company's in any of these fields. I'm not quite yet an expert on how the technology works, but I understand that they have proven they can save up to $5MM per exploration project.
5) Revenues Via Direct Ties to Gold, Oil and Diamond Mining: CPPT has contracts to participate in the revenue of multiple diamond mining, oil and gas drilling projects wordlwide. These earnings will be in addition to the fees they receive for their services, which I understand average $2.5MM per job.
If you take a look at the trading history (link to chart below), you will see that this one is just getting started. In my humble opinion, CPPT is pretty much an ATM machine where no passcode is needed!!!

I'm out if nothing happens next week before it goes triple zeroes.
It would be yes... but I already had a position in here... EQBM is an eye sore... might aswell look at a flourishing stock.. the sad thing is, I have a much larger position in EQBM than I do here... why is that?.. lol
Seems like a no brainer for exploration to me as an unknowledgeable layman.
I know they have just hired a new IR person, and I believe they are finally embarking on a widescale publicity campaign.
Be nice to sink what's left of EQBM over here eh Poker?
Wow! You have some big plans for this company.
Are they going to start a marketing campaign soon? Seems like there is lots of potential here for fairly rapid growth.
Yes, I have it on good authority they will be updating their website with current numbers.
The OS I posted came directly from their corporate attorney.
However, there hasn't been much growth to date in the OS, and the insiders still control most of the float, and I was told emphatically they have no intention of selling.
My attitude is that CPPT is a long term hold. I see this stock going to $1.00-$2.00, and then onto higher valuations.
I think they have every intention of actually moving to Nasdaq. As they are a reporting OTCBB, it isn't that much of a stretch.
With the income potential we're looking at here, dollars are not out of reach.
I know I'm very enthusiastic at this moment, but I look at companies like Schlumberger to see the growth potential in a firm that provides essential services to the drilling and mining industry.
Nice stock and site SL. Just started looking at this. The share info on their website is different from what you have in the box and I'm assuming that is dated info (See below):
Terra Insight Corporation - Fundamentals - information as of November 7, 2005
Public since May 19, 2005 via reverse acquisition with CompuPrint, Inc. (parent holding company)
Symbol: CPPT (OTCBB)
Shares Outstanding: 41,508,338
Public Float: 3,892,200
Management Owns: 35,029,980
Fully Diluted: 49,271,671
I see they have some unproven gas and oil propertie assets worth over 4M. Have you had a chance to research much on the co.? Sorry if you have gone over this already. Let me know if I can help.
CPPT in a nutshell: "STeP™ is responsible for completion of over thirty applied projects with various clients in Africa, the Middle East, the Far East, South America, and Russia. The average success rate of prediction and localization of commercially viable deposits of hydrocarbons, gold, diamonds, and water is over 75%.
The approximate total volumes of petroleum deposits (in localized traps) amounted to over 90 million tons (including 40 million tons in Sakhalin, 20 to 25 million tons in Penza, 10 million tons off-shore block 2-2 Kunsan, South Korea).
The economic merit of the STeP™ adoption amounted to at least $5 million per project. "
...Since 1997, this technology has been tested at more than sixty fields and has yielded outstanding results. Its use proved to reduce geological exploration costs by, in some cases, 500% and shorten new field prospecting time to a few months.

New York City based US company, CompuPrint, Inc. CPPT -an energy technology company that combines satellite-based technology with traditional exploration services, announced that Terra Insight Corporation (TIC), its wholly-owned operating company, signed an agreement with the Çalik Enerji, a leading Turkish energy company with holdings throughout the Middle East, to jointly explore eight onshore blocks in the Erzurum area of eastern Turkey.
Previously, this highly desirable area had been restricted because of Turkish military activities. TIC is to receive payment for the survey as well as a 20% working interest in the project.
