Amen brother. I've been waiting an awfully long time and do believe time is drawing near. It's been two months since the Roth announcement...
Excellent find here.
HOSPITALITY WILL ALWAYS BY HUGE $$$ MAKING.
This sector needs a makeover DISRUPTION tech imo.
$TKOI$ is ripe for the explosion for sure.
Jmho.
Well, Indeed poor them. It was a long road till now but I believe this is it, company will be sold and current market cap of 20-22 millions is still well below what it could be sold for. I accumulated at 12-16 cts, Happy days!
It was amystery for me how this company was not sold already as it could fast track by years the entrance of a big player like LG or an other into the smart hotel world. I truly wouldn't be surprised to see it being sold for 100mil.
poor them those who sold at 10 cents, i discovered this company cause they are in talks with 2 massive project i am aware of outside of USA and it seems their tech is the only one answering the needs of fairly large customer...i expect to see big revenue growth or a buy out in 2018 ! HIDDEN GEM!!!!!!!
Most important numbers for me besides the revenues rising Q4 over Q3 will be that hopefully these numbers can continue their downward trajectory.
Sales, General and Admin
1,769 Q1
1,438 Q2
1,188 Q3
Peace out.
3.7 million shares are held short on this thing, could be interesting week, we shall see. Peace out.
Personally I think this is a hidden gem that is going to be discovered sooner rather than later. Just for myself I feel big things are coming in 2018, I used to wonder and scratch my head about this company, but, I think they finally got all the creases smoothed out.
I asked to be a moderator, just to just add some DD for people, the proper links etc, not one of those overblown boards that takes 5 minutes to load, something clean with just the relevant info by way of links for people so they can look into it for themselves rather than having to search on their own or ask questions about just where to find out the info.
Peace out.
Anybody see a news release about Tkoi participating in a contract for a 3000-room hotel in Las Vegas?
Is anybody as worried as I am that the stock hasn't traded in two days?
How's the chart looking, about the same? Hoping we have a catalyst coming on Monday!
It should be a catalyst although I expected the Ethostream sale to move this a whole lot more than it did. But I remain 100% convinced it's just a matter of time. And glad to see somebody else out there also sees what is hiding in plain sight! Getting compared to Nest and Lyric FINALLY.
yES LITTLEBIRDY ? i AM PRETTY SURE IT IS tkoi's work. I believe most of their sell are going through Johnson control right now, we should hear some good news on 14th. Finally a stock mover.
Have to wonder...I'm guessing odds are good this is TKOI's work. Made for residential AND commercial use. Hopefully find out next week.

Hey Mike,
Good to hear from you. I'm just as convinced as ever especially after Ethostream sold and am optimistic about what's in store next Monday. They're releasing a day early which is a first. But I also won't be surprised it it doesn't move much and one day out of the blue we find out they've been bought!
Hi Littlbyrdy
It's been a while. I hope you are doing well. I am rooting for TKOI just because of your long term conviction.
btw, Some nice insider buying activity!!
Regards,
Mike
Glad to hear it. I imagine the recent insider buying helped the chart. I just continue to hold and wait for either a sale of the company or big news, so I haven't even looked at the chart for a long time. I hope we will get news either before or immediately after next month's Q2 results. If you haven't listened to the last call, you should. Our CEO tends to be overly optimistic so I've learned to take what he says with a grain of salt, but this last call was perhaps the most promising call I've listened to yet...sounded very much like they have groundbreaking project(s) in the works. I expect a partnership with someone in the residential market.
Chart is back looking better than it has in a while. No position atm and not enough capital to really add much right now even if I wanted, but it's back on my radar (again) and still believe there's strong potential here.
BOD buying more - in large volumes. Best sign in a long time.
750k shares bought by an insider
What's with today's volume? Hope there's going to be some good news
Wouldn't it be nice if they sold something instead of just announcing something
...sooo, if I were to have asked you a week ago what you thought Ethostream was worth, what would have been your answer? I have a feeling it would have been far, far less than $12.75M. I think it's a safe bet that if Telkonet were to be sold tomorrow to JCI, UTX, IR, etc (which is the plan), it would fetch plenty more than $10M, losing $1M a quarter or not.
$11M cash in the bank is going to be a huge boon for them. This is the biggest positive development in the history of TKOI.
Amazing is right!
...sooo, if you buy the company for $22 million, you in essence have $10 million in cash and a company losing $1,000,000 a quarter.
By December you will have $0.00 cash in the bank and a company still losing $1,000,000 a quarter.
Amazing is right.
$12.75M and we're selling at .17 with a market cap of $22M? Amazing.
So how much did Ethostream sell for, that is the question. Hope to get more details tomorrow. Finally a major positive development after a long dry spell!
And boy Birdy have we had our fill of your
BS pumping over the last 6-7 yrs. When you started Tkoi
was at .21 and today .21
Thanks S. I've had my fill of supercilious A holes and engaging with them is pointless. Looks like the recent buyer(s) took a break today. We've been holding nicely but I am not expecting much unless/until we get some major news. As you know I had low expectations for Q2 but I think Q3 will be more in line with what we want, so I'm thinking we don't move much until then, unless someone gets wind of the company getting sold or other major news breaks and then we may see a breakout of epic proportions :) as the shorts get squeezed. Kross apparently has a track record of getting companies sold quickly, and from what I've been told he is very motivated to get this company sold and move on. Could be any day...that'd be a nice surprise to wake up to some morning. If I had to guess I'd say it happens later this fall but who knows. I have my shares and remain content to wait it out at this point.
Dont get too excited. If you recall back in apr of this year
preferred shareholders exercised their warrants for 5.2million shares
at 13 cents .How long do you think they are going to be around.Quite an overhang of shares dont you think
Another very solid day in the books and we're that much closer to busting out of this trading range. I'm not sure what is behind the recent strength though I do believe that partially it's just a simple result of months and months worth of accumulation and sellers slowly but surely getting filled and drying up on that side of the trade. Anything north of .23 has been has been a fairly rare sight for this stock. Last year .23ish marked the ceiling until it finally cracked through in the late months of summer and into fall, but then it failed to sustain and back below .23 it went. That selloff shook the tree big time and I know many sellers bailed on that disappointing turn of events. If you look back at the past 2.5 years of trading that period last year was the only time it traded above .23 with any significant time/volume behind it, but I think we're setting up to go there again. It's entirely common to see an initial move like that get rejected but further down the line the price successfully busts through with conviction, and my guess is that is what's setting up.
I'm not sure if the strength in the pps has anything to do with Kross or what, but I'm slowly/surely getting more and more optimistic that TKOI is getting close to finally breaking out of this multi year base it's been stuck in.
I think birdy is purposely keeping quiet.. probably doesn't want jinx the nice little spark we've got going and doesn't want to engage in any arguments either. I don't blame him if that's the case, but that's just my guess.
There ya go Birdy!
I vote for Birdman...do I have a second?
Someone would need to volunteer to be a moderator then they can change the profile/intro.
How do we get the intro to Telkonet updated???...I mean this current profile is a misrepresentation of the company.
Knock on wood - but I think $TKOI is actually trading pretty well overall on the year, it may be telling us something with this modest strength it's showing. It hasn't made any sort of gigantic gains yet, but it's been basing and forming higher lows consistently. All of that back and forth trading from the high teens to the low .20s seems to have slowly but surely soaked up the supply of shares that's been holding us down. We're not out of the woods yet but the longer the pps can hold here, the closer we hopefully are to breaking back out into the upper .20s.
IMO the next test of .28 will be a successful breakout, unlike last fall's attempt.
Acquisition is on Kross and his new board members radar. with the new board holding over 5,000,000 shares they are going to be looking for possible buyers. I spoke with Kross, he seems very capable to be on tkoi board.
Not a horrible 10Q, but I just don't think that investors are excited about this company going from $15MM (2015) to $18MM (proj.) in sales, with no strong indication of profitability. Just not scaling the business enough for the risk.
Investors can revisit this thing in 2-3 years at this rate and still have a decent entry level. Why come in now? I'd rather spend it on a vacation or maybe one of those new Tesla's....oh..not yet?
In addition, JT blames the loss on a little proxy fight that puts them $400K+ in the red...what's gonna happen if something larger unexpectedly happens? Don't like the cash balance number as a result.
Other thoughts:
- Profit margin isn't supporting growth whatsoever.
- In no way, shape or form can they justify a $32MM market cap. Can't be done.
- R/S anvil still attached
- They've got 2,350 properties/5 million network users under Ethostream, you mean you can't exploit that customer base for more than just monthly fees?
- IMO, this company needs a JV/acquisition with an industry-related company that has a significant sales staff. Couple that with a cap raise, R/S and an up-listing - NOW you've got an interesting company!

While the last few years have seen the rise of smart thermostats to augment energy efficiency, the next couple will see the elimination of thermostats altogether. That is, why have a separate wall-mounted device when such functionality can be easily controlled via your television and universal remote control. Not only has Telkonet developed a fluid software interface for a smartscreen near you, but all preferences are also saved and added to that guest’s profile, meaning that those exact conditions can be instantly replicated for any future stay and deployed well in advance of the customer’s arrival onsite.

Amazon Echo & Honeywell bring voice control to your connected home
Got this email today. We have both products in our home. Shows how innovative our little company is...let's just hope we can capitalize on the opportunities out there.
"Life just got smarter
We've got big news for you. Amazon Echo can now control your Honeywell Total Connect Comfort Thermostat. Use Alexa, the voice service that powers Amazon Echo, to set the perfect temperature in your home by voice command. Simply say "Alexa, set my temperature to 72 degrees" and enjoy your home's comfort without having to lift a finger. Are you ready to bring the future to your home?"
Got it. Let's hope we have reason to do some dabbing this year.
I think Kross is going to win handily. Let's hope we get a pop out of the news and might even make the shorts nervous. Probably all wishful thinking though.
LOL.No wasn't kicked off tho you tried hard to do just that as I was the one to prove you a BSer.Just review all your Bs for last 5 yrs and stock still at 19cents.You jerk the officers and directors pay themselves $250k per qtr and shareholders get zilch
for their patience and you have the nerve to complain about Kross if true.Get real .I hope this company does get some direction and the price moves--most likely by being acq.before its too late.I bet you'll be saying I told you so.You are a funny guy just not too bright.
Are you familiar with Cam Newton? For his touchdown celebration he does a dance known as dabbing. My avatar is the Little Debbie logo but instead of the standard pose, Debbie is dabbing, ie Little Dabbie. No good reason I chose it, just thought it was pretty funny. lol
Thanks buddy, appreciate the feedback. Watching this one closely as ever.
Hey welcome back! I think the news itself could actually be a positive for the share price, at least in the short term but long term I'm much less confident. The man is very capable and successful, but what bothers me is having three money managers, none with industry experience in green tech and no real plan, overseeing this company that is just starting to hit its stride. What the current BOD has done is working, why change now? I would've been much more amenable to just Kross joining the BOD but I have a big problem with his plan to have the company reimburse his legal expenses. I was actually planning to vote for him (minus the other two nominees) to help get some new blood on the BOD but changed my mind after learning of his intentions with his legal fees. Plus I worry about this company being sold prematurely. They are already actively pursuing being acquired through Cannacord (Bill Davis told me this himself) so I just don't see what value Kross's team brings to the table. My opinion is if one still wants a change, vote only for Kross and not the other two nominees so they don't have majority control.
Why don't you think Kross getting elected would be positive for the share price?
Here's some "hype" for you. Kross is going to have Telkonet pay his $250,000 in legal expenses if he successfully gains control of the BOD. I learned that directly from both Bill Davis and Jason Tienor. I guess that's just the price to pay for unproven leadership and vague plans to maximize shareholder value.
I presume njfone that you are both ninofernandez and ninofern on Yahoo...two other aliases in addition to njfone. You know, the one who acts like a high school bully and who posted that I was "closed off" of InvestorsHub and that the Company needs "oversight not tech experience" on the board. Three bankers running a green tech company...sounds like a bad joke because it is. I guess I missed learning something somewhere along the line and should have hired a banker to run my own company. What BS. I also recall ninofernandez being the one kicked off of this board.
I can see this board has been just a wealth of information and productive discussion over the past few weeks.
Wow. Its been two weeks without any hype from Birdy and bdn.

Telkonet’s patented powerline communications (PLC) systems – the Telkonet iWire System and next generation 200 Mbps Telkonet Series 5 – use a building’s existing internal electrical wiring to enable Internet connectivity throughout an entire building, converting electrical outlets into high-speed data ports. This is an ideal solution for properties that are not wired with CAT-5 or where CAT-5 is cost-prohibitive.
The EthoStream Gateway Server (EGS) product line of gateway devices, which are developed in-house, deliver wired or wireless high-speed Internet access, integrating easily with any combination of WAN connections. The EGS products range from a cost-effective gateway for limited use applications to a feature-rich, dual-WAN, scalable gateway for full-service properties.
Telkonet’s energy management systems, Telkonet SmartEnergy (TSE) and Networked Telkonet SmartEnergy (NTSE), reduce in-room energy consumption by controlling heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) usage based on occupancy. By eliminating unnecessary heating and cooling of vacant rooms, TSE typically reduces energy consumption by 30% or greater.
Telkonet’s proactive support center brings quality of service to a new level with its dedicated, in-house employees, 24/7/365 support, and integrated proactive monitoring and management tools that put property management in control. By integrating the EthoStream Gateway Server and the web-based Telkonet CENTRAL, our in-house support team has real-time visibility into a property’s HSIA usage and data, as well as ISP status.
Telkonet SmartEnergy™ (TSE) controls HVAC usage and improves energy efficiency by adjusting and maintaining a room’s temperature based on occupancy, using a combination of occupancy sensors, intelligent programmable thermostats or packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) controllers. TSE eliminates wasteful heating and cooling of vacant rooms without compromising an occupant’s comfort based on our patented Recovery Time™ technology.
Building on the proven capabilities of the TSE system and incorporating Telkonet's unique Recovery Time™ technology, our new Networked Telkonet SmartEnergy (NTSE) advances intelligent HVAC building control with a flexible, resilient and low-cost energy management platform. NTSE utilizes a ZigBee wireless IEE802.15.4 “mesh” network, where each device functions as a wireless repeater and enables energy management thermostats to communicate with each other and aggregate communications up to a single master NTSE Gateway Server on site. NTSE enables central control without needing expensive back-haul wiring. Its key monitoring and analysis features ensure optimum energy savings, giving property owners the tools to identify and implement energy savings, providing total visibility and detailed data about a property's HVAC system and its energy consumption, together with real-time, instant remote management capabilities.
Key features and benefits of NTSE
Telkonet’s proprietary, patented powerline communications (PLC) products harness a building’s internal electrical wiring to form an IP network, turning power outlets into data ports, while leaving the electrical functionality unaffected. Telkonet’s PLC systems – the Telkonet iWire System and the 200 Mbps Telkonet Series 5 – represent a quick, economical, and non-disruptive way to achieve high-speed Internet connectivity throughout a building. Telkonet’s PLC systems offer the hard-wired security and reliability of a CAT-5 cabled network, but without the cost, physical disturbance and business disruption of wiring CAT-5. For properties looking to provide wireless coverage, Telkonet’s systems can be used to feed WiFi access points, which can be connected quickly and simply to any power outlet.
Series 5 Comparison “With 209 sites and limited numbers of IT technicians, we needed a reliable, plug-and-play system that was easy to install, maintain and operate. With Telkonet’s solution, we demonstrated that our own IT staff and contract electricians could install the system…”
Steve Custer, Supervisor CCTV/LAN Networking and A.V. Repair, Hillsborough County School District (SDHC)

PLC Product Components
Telkonet’s systems comprise a set of compact building blocks – the Telkonet Gateway, which connects via a router to the site’s external broadband feed, and a Telkonet Coupler that interfaces with a building’s electrical distribution panel. A further unit, the Telkonet eXtender™, can be connected to the Telkonet Coupler to provide additional reach for multi-building sites. To access the Internet, a user simply connects their laptop into a Telkonet iBridge unit.
Telkonet Gateway™ | The "brain" of the system, the Telkonet Gateway converts IP connections to a PLC signal and distributes PLC to the Telkonet Coupler. Through a web or CLI interface, the Telkonet Gateway allows management and configuration of the other Telkonet components. Each Telkonet Gateway supports up to 63 Telkonet eXtenders, 1,023 Telkonet iBridges (users) and up to 4,096 Ethernet endpoints.
Telkonet Couplers | The Telkonet Coupler takes the PLC signal from the Telkonet Gateway or Telkonet eXtender and injects that signal into the in-building electrical wiring. Installation of the Telkonet Coupler requires a licensed electrician to meet National Electric Code (NEC) and local electric code standards. Also comes in a model with integrated disconnect switch.
Telkonet eXtender™ | The Telkonet eXtender provides additional reach and scalability for networks that cannot be properly covered by a single Telkonet Gateway or multi-building environments. It can be used with wireless radio or wireline networks.
