Not much confidence if you think this is only a .10 stock
It looks as though the investor Summit might have been good for us. Still cheap IMO. Should be somewhere in the .10 range. Company is on the right track!
actually there were two insider purchases - thats good news
Any insider buying is nice. Almost $10k. Not so bad:)
Insider purchase:
11/16/10
Davis, Steven James - Director
190,000 shares
Price: 0.050
Value: $9.4 K
Nothing big, but thought I'd post it anyway.
It would be the first time that we have closed above our 200 day ma since Aug.
Yeah, someone is trying to get in on the sly. Ready for this one to move.
I have noticed the same...good volume in PM...Someone has been interested....With some substantial news this would rise nicely IMHO.
interesting trading patterns - buying takes place mostly in the afternoon - 3 decent days of buying (for tnxi anyway) is something about to give??
I am afraid Doug Johnson doesnt know how move this co forward....This stock level is astonishing....And the only thing he is proposing is to reverse split this..come on...the value is the same....
Yes I see that..interesting...needs to go up though not sideways. but good to see interest. Did anyone hear the presentation at Merriman yesterday
more good buying today - hmmmmm
After a day like yesterday need NEWS to create momentum.....Having only quarterly conference calls will not do....This is an odd trading stock to be sure...242K one day and zero the next....
Yeah, that is a decent bar on the chart for this stock. Hopefully it builds tomorrow.
Decent volume today...let's hope it continues to grow tomorrow.
if we could hit .06 at the ask that would be very promising - cmon tnxi
It could rest at the nickel or suddenly see support at .10 +++..
Will be watching for late December bid improvements as the sellers end their exits. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, will be targeting cheaper shares for those with little patience.
WOW! Just getting ready to post that someone was nibbling, then .05 got hit. Not now, nor ever has it taken much to move this one.
Runner, right on point. The annual sales rev will be about equal to last yr...Need upside sales rev. ...Yes a R/S is windowdressing thats all and will reverse down if the financial fundamentals dont become stronger on the top sales line..2007 to 2008 that doubled. Need to see more. I thought at the beginning of this year there would be such change. Large market and an ideal low cost product for SMB's in this economy.
here's the great misconception. This company should NOT be worth $1 at this point. It would be nice if it was a dime though; that's where it should be.
the company has great potential and getting to $1pps will take some luck and smart maneuvering by the company's top brass. I don't ask how it'll get done at this point; I just ask that it gets done.
i also believe these growth conferences that johnson is attending shows somwe type of desperation on his part to get this moving. next one coming up in NY city on the 16th. they have to know that just doing a RS from these levels is worthless. johnson and company sold hale on this, now he has to produce - that is my take.
bottom line is we are all in this together - even hale -
if they can't get the pps up at some point, pre any RS, generate some volume, we are all holding the bag and that includes hale and johnson. in fact hale is the biggest bagholder of them all. something has to give. lets see what news johnson can generate as far as new partnerships etc that would get this moving. the biggest problem is no one is buying.
Bottom line is we all thought Johnson & Co would have done more to move this up by now. I didnt own any of this when it was $7(3rs ago) but thats quite a slide to be at $.04. Certainly should be $1 min.(WITHOUT ANY SPLITS) at this point. Is the next communication from this co now in Feb for the 4th qtr conf call? Thats a big part of the problem....Need explosive and consistent numbers, market share, and NEWS!!!!!!!!..partnership, acquisition, buyout($.50/sh) something...The next stop and goal should be $100M in rev. How can that be achieved by TNXI?
they should wait until the company is on solid financial footing, IMO.
but wouldn't they or shouldn't they wait until the pps goes higher than .04 cents - i mean a RS at this point might put us at .50 cents - big deal.
but we really didn't make 5¢ w/o the recapitalization. In other words, we won't see these types of numbers in future earning reports.
and there are big risks with this company, which is also why the reward factor is so great. For example, from their press release:
If the company continues to generate revenue and gross profit consistent with the growth it experienced during the nine months ended 11/30/2010 and during fiscal 2009, and maintains control of its variable operating expenses, it believes that its existing capital, together with anticipated cash flows from operations, will be sufficient to finance its operations through at least 11/30/11.
-
The next earnings report is crucial to the PPS and success of TNXI. I've got a lot vested in this one, so my fingers are crossed.
The company will need to raise more money, so we'll see some dilution.
If the company does a r/s, I'll consider that a bad sign. This is a company that has a ton of potential if things break their way, but a RS within the next year will be a sign that they're in trouble.
you bought in also - so i guess you're not so much of a genuis. with that said we are both in the same boat, monday morning quarterbacking is not needed here. peace fellow investor
Perhaps, though clearly not as much as you are.

your shares will get sucked up at .10 cents and you'll be buying them back at .50 if you sell - did you see the material doug johnson presesnted at the growth conference? you need to do your homework. don't be so trigger happy - the fundamentals are only just starting to gel.
Iomega was a successful rs, so it does happen. Most companies that do a rs is as a last gasp to survive, that is not the case here.
Just a random article.
Priceline May Join Reverse-Split Winners Club
Zac Chase, 06.16.03, 5:20 PM ET
NEW YORK - Sometimes less can mean more.
The folks at Norwalk, Conn.-based Priceline.com are hoping this is true. The discount online travel firm announced a 1-for-6 reverse stock spilt effective today. In most cases, reverse stock splits are meant to bolster market confidence and, in Priceline's case, eliminate outstanding excess common stock. Investors woke Monday to find the Internet travel firm's outstanding shares at 37.5 million, compared with 227 million when the market closed June 13. Priceline maintains the reverse split was meant to line up its earnings results with peer companies, such as Expedia.com (nasdaq: EXPR - news - people ) and Hotels.com (nasdaq: ROOM - news - people ). But is a reverse split going to get the job done?
A look at the magic eight ball of reverse stock splits of major companies in the past five years meets with the answer, "Ask again later."
Of a list of 2001 reverse-split winners and losers, the losers are gone and the winners continue to succeed. Companies such as Internet service provider United Online (nasdaq: UNTD - news - people ) and j2 Global Communications (nasdaq: JCOM - news - people ) have seen marked post-split improvements. United, the result of the merger of NetZero and Juno, is up 794%; j2 is up 715%.
One of the more common impetuses behind reverse splitting is keeping floundering stock prices above the delisting minimum of $1. Many analysts say the buffered price offers temporary rejuvenation that becomes a kiss of death. A look at the ten biggest firms to authorize a reverse split since 2001 shows that this isn't always the case: AT&T (nyse: T - news - people ), Collins & Aikman (nyse: CKC - news - people ) and Capstead Mortgage (nyse: CMO - news - people ) have dropped while six others have seen their prices rise, and mining outfit Kinross Gold (nyse: KGC - news - people ) has seen no change.
Whether or not Priceline fits into this trend remains to be seen. Though the company closed down 22 cents to $25.22 today, it is projecting post-split second-quarter earnings of 12 to 18 cents per share, in line with analysts' consensus estimates of 12 cents.
Priceline is on the runway, waiting for signs to take off.

Shattering A Stock Split Myth 01.25.02
Reverse stock splits have a bad name. That isn't always justified.
True but then every company has other income, charges etc allowed by GAAP that flow to the bottom line. But next qtr and each thereafter earnings all the more important....Can we bank on the market opportunities are as they say and growth is exponential. As important co needs exposure and NEWS of revenue changing initiatives.
Hello everyone, quick correction, tnxi did not make .05 cents a share. Thanks to some accounting magic as you see here:
"Net income for the third quarter was $14.2 million, or $0.05 per share, compared to net income of $78,000, or $0.00 per share, in the third quarter last year; the gain is primarily due to the Company’s recapitalization in the third quarter, which resulted in $16.5 million of other income related to the extinguishment of debt."
TNXI needs an eps based on actual sales and revenue not accounting maneuvering. I will keep watching. GL to all.
well what can we say - you're a genius
It's funny to think I was practically laughed off this board last week when I suggested that selling ones shares at .10 would be a good thing (was told that they'd get scooped up before I knew it!). Since then, the price has DROPPED by a penny.
My sell price remains the same. I don't see it getting there anytime soon. Anyone want to buy my shares?
in all due respect thats baloney. must riskier stocks trading alot higher than this one. we made .05 cents for pete's sake!
i don't know. This company looks to be a few quarters away from actually starting to realize PPS prices of a quarter or more. There's still a lot of risk with this one, which is why the share price is still so low.
The company needs to have real revenue growth, expand their retail channels/client base and realize a better COH/debt levels.
All these things seem to be moving in the right direction; it's now just a matter of time.
Thats right if its not moving now it wont move up after a split either, VERY strong liklihood it goes down, you have lost value plus then you have fractional shares. There is something else at play here besides price, after these financial results this stock should be IN PLAY.
if they do a RS at this level they will throw everything down the toilet - they have to get this price up
i know - i've never seen anything like this - a company come in with .05 cents, .11 cents last quarter and we are .045 on the ask! - a complete joke.
Yeah and I hope what gives is not more loss in value.
i agree re: johnson, but also the fundamentals are definately looking good - i know it sucks the pps isn't moving, but something eventually has to give - i.e. this has to move!
Runner, glad that you brought that up during the conference call. Though I dont agree about Johnson...He needs to do a MUCH BETTER job....He isnt visible enough and doesnt market the company..He talks about market channels for TNXI products he needs to do the same about the success and future of the company to investors..This is ridiculous that this stock languishes at these levels....And we have lost value and wealth as a result. And His only solution at this time, at this price, is to consider reverse to move the price. Obsurd, cheap, easy way out, and a disservice to long term shareholders who invested in the trust of management and not a scheme.
Hope my concern about this in my email resonates. Johnson needs to work to get this to at least $1 ON THE FUNDAMENTALS. This company is way off the radar and thats the CEO's job to correct that which to date has not happened!!
this is a joke - made .o5 cents and we trade at .05 cents! LOL we should be over a buck!
this is a joke - .o5 cents and we trade at .05 cents! LOL we should be over a buck!
i was on the CC also, i brought up the RS. listen johnson is actually doing a great job - no doubt, but this company needs to toot their horn a little bit more. that PR should have read "TNXI Posts Record Earnings". also the delloite news should have been posted. i think telanetix is getting the hint. today we have another PR - its about time. i agree the share price has got to go higher before any RS.
Pro, I listened to the conference call and Johnson sounded like that was the next step in the recap process..which I am sure is and has been Hales agenda. If it werent for one of the callers bringing it up it would not have been discussed. All callers, which I take have been long term holders as is myself, were OPPOSED to a reverse certainly at these price level. To which I would agree. This usually signals a troubled firm!! Statistically 75% roll back from the split price...SEE BELOW THE SPLIT JINX. Keep in mind the perception.
Johnson talks about FUNDAMENTALS and upward earnings and EBITDA qtr over qtr WELL HE should let those drive the price up while marketing the company. Comfortably this should be a $1 stock. Keep in mind the low float 31M with Hale owning the rest. Like I said in a prior message if its Hale's intent to sell the company what does it matter what shares he holds given the cash amount. Long term holders should not now be penalized. Get this to a dollar then decide if still needed. If Hale wants to reverse his shares then go for it.
The reverse split jinx
Why do stocks usually sink after reverse splits? The answer is simple. A stock isnt trading under a dollar unless it is pretty close to bankruptcy or it has some other serious troubles, says Charles Jones, who teaches finance at Columbia Business School. And that is not changed by a reverse split.
Put another way, reverse splits are like a message from management that the underlying business trends are so rotten, they wont be enough to get the stock price up to snuff.
To be sure, companies cite lots of good reasons to do reverse splits, beyond the need to meet listing requirements. Many fund managers shun stocks under $5 because they appear too speculative. Investors cant use margin to buy stocks under $5. And Wall Street brokerages are reluctant to push stocks down in this trading range. All of these factors limit demand.
