i sold before the close perhaps get back in on the morning action, many of these low floatys are coming to life, another play CETX only 3.7million shares in the float, supposed to be having earnings by july 28th, lookin to come to life like this TCCO here....
i think TCCO was a response from the KONE action, also TOPS made a big move
tcco here only has 1.4million shares, moves quick
i just got in 5.22. you holding over the weekend?
damn dogg...looks like you had this...
LOL...we'll see. Got some more at $5 so my average is about $5.35. If it goes back over $6 I'll be happy.
Good luck with it. I had some TCCO that I sold earlier. They have a strong balance sheet. But revenues & earnings have been weak for many quarters. They're overdue to announce a contract, and I thought the stock would maybe pop to $5 if they did. To see it in the $7's this morning on no news was so crazy! I'm a value investor so don't understand it. But in this euphoria, who knows maybe TCCO is $10 next week.
Well aware. Grabbed KONE yesterday and made $2,000. Looking to paly the momo and get in/out.
Why are you chasing? You do realize this stock was in the $2's yesterday right? It's been in the $2's pretty much all year. And NOTHING has changed. Maybe it gets another low float mania run or maybe it drops right back down (if logic prevails). Seems like a risky bet.
May get my $5's here soon. My $5.80's were a bad buy.
I'm bidding $5 right now. Got some earlier at $5.80.
Exactly like KONE! This is crazy. Reminds me of 1999. Won't complain if the low float mania continues. We just gotta find the next one!
Just like KONE. That went from $1.75 to $13 on nothing but momentum.
Low float mania! Congrats to those lucky enough to be holding today. Not sure who's chasing at $7. On no news. Will fall way back when the insanity dies down.
MGT heating up the Phone Encryption Sector! TCCO could get money coming
looks like they are at it again. think that is where i heard about this.
I got texts and e-mails on TCCO from Small Cap IR.
You mean the company paid for it? Doesn't sound like them. Saw the stock getting a pump. It usually does every few months. Wish I had still had some. Would gladly be selling on this pop to $4...can buy back in the $2's after this latest pump dies down.
Paid promo launched. Beware. Received 4 emails and a text from the pumper outlets....
~~ ON BREAKOUT WATCH ~~ ( almost entire float traded in share volume yesterday ) contract news out worth 3.3 mill !
BIG NEWS!! released in AH yesterday!! TCCO soaring this morning...
TECHNICAL COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION Announces $3.3 Million Contract to
Today : Wednesday 3 December 2014

Technical Communications Corporation (NasdaqCM: TCCO) today announced that it received a $3.3 million contract from the Government of Egypt for the company’s DSD 72A-SP military bulk encryption systems, training and support. Delivery of the equipment and training services are expected during the first nine months of TCC’s 2015 fiscal year.
Carl H. Guild Jr., President and CEO of Technical Communications Corporation, commented, “We are pleased that our customer has, once again, selected TCC systems to secure its military communications network. We believe the combination of our quality systems, commitment to meeting unique requirements, and full lifecycle services have fostered this longstanding relationship. We also expect follow-on sales as our customer continues to expand its network.”
The DSD 72A-SP is a member of TCC’s network encryption family. It provides strategic-level security for data signals in demanding environments and covers a broad range of network interfaces. Critical applications such as missile firing commands, emergency military telephone networks, and command and control networks are protected today by the DSD 72A-SP.
Other highlights of TCC’s data encryption portfolio include the Cipher X® 7211 IP encryption system with robust flexibility, scalable performance and ease of use. For optical networks, TCC offers the DSD 72B-SP SONET/SDH encryption interoperable family for industrial, rugged industrial and military environments.
MONEY $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I loaded today will be buying more
5 break coming imo
Good luck here, CEO is 70 years old and runs the company like it is 1964 and not 2014, needs to retire and be replaced by a more modern 21st century thinker. Company has new products, but it has taken 3-5 years to bring them to market costing HUGE R & D $dollars$, killing the bottom line. Take a look at the last 2 years worth of filings, and see how big of a percentage of revenue has gone/been pissed away on R & D.
Over half the staff is engineers and trust me not all of them are good at their jobs.
There is a reason the market has left this once promising company.

Low Floater likely worth a look in this range around 3.90. Could move very quickly if the volume continues to increase.
Updated FIPS 140-3 Security Criteria will be published in August 2013. The current 140-2 criteria was published 10+ years ago.

TCCO must be working with OEMs on the new FIPS 140-3 criteria as well.

'The DSD 72B-SP (I) is an exportable FIPS 140-2 Level 3 designed, hardware-based encryption solution with full line-rate performance.'
The Latest Details from the New 10Q Report. I like the reference to multiple OEMs and the new products are being sold and customer tested in 2013.
TCCO 'is in the process of reorienting some of its development investment toward collaborative product developments with major original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”). The Company began establishing these technical partnerships in 2012 and we expect that full-scale product development will begin in 2013. TCC plans for the resulting products to be imbedded proprietary encryption solutions that will significantly enhance the value of the OEMs’ products and allow TCC encryption to be carried to the market by major equipment providers.'
HSE 6000 - 'Customer field testing is expected to begin in the second half of fiscal 2013.'
'the CX7211, is scheduled for installation with initial customers in 2013.'
Interesting Article on Apple products for the DoD.

There is no indication of TCCO in this mix, but there are some undisclosed details missing about how Apple, Samsung, and Blackberry got approved products. DoD is planning to purchase 600,000 iOS devices.
This article identifies iOS 7 as the approved OS. Since iOS 7 has not been released yet, we do not know much about iOS 7.

Apple bought Authentec last year which specializes in fingerprint id technology and Near-Field Communications.
Last year, Authentec also owned an embedded security solutions division which Apple decided to sell to a French Company - Inside Secure in the fall for $48 Million.

Apple must have other choices for embedded security. Could it be using TCC software? I hope so. The ESS division did not have the save solution as TCC anyway. TCC has Key Management software for encrypted communications in wireless and optical networks.
Does anyone know who the OEMs might be?
I found this statement in the Quarterly Report.
'By the middle of fiscal 2013, the Company anticipates the development of three new products and expects to reorient its development investment toward collaborative product developments with major original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”). Initial work began in 2012 to establish these technical partnerships and we expect that full-scale development will begin in mid-2013. The resulting products will be imbedded proprietary encryption solutions which will significantly enhance the value of the OEMs’ products and allow TCC encryption to be carried to the market by major equipment providers.'
The 3rd fiscal quarter started April 1st.
TCC's encryption communication hardware video is on Youtube now. Uploaded last week.
TCCO looking strong on good 1Q figures. Trading volume is off the hook over 11% of O/S traded.

It's a great company but I sold out. The business isnt predictable enough for me. Plus I dont understand the market for encryption equipment well at all.
That being said, they definatly proved their mettle this year handling the threefold increase in revs with hardly a bump in SG&A.

Nothing new in this link but a very nice summary of where we are at today (thanks to rikrichter2001 on Yahoo for posting the link). Its been 3/4 of a year now since the CEO exercised his options early and no sales that I saw. Also the CFO exercised a bunch and sold just a token amount (wouldn't be surprised if that was in part to pay taxes). It appears more than likely that *special* dividend was to help them pay their taxes and they had no intention of selling! Hopefully no (negative) surprises next month when they report and we should have another great EPS figure.
Nice start but still a long way to go for me
#msg-55847385 (I got a little carried away)
Yoou might not have to wait that long.
I am content to hold collecting my nice dividend until the market starts to really appreciate this stock!
So I think now (without new major contracts) we are looking at probably ~2 in '11 so even after the big order this year next years PE is looking to be in the 4 range (and much less if one backs out cash).
Well one day some bigger fish will start to notice.
I wonder if Sonkin is still in or has been liquidating. It still is a value stock so would make sense for him to stay in but the price makes me wonder if someone has been selling (for a long time).
