Embraer in conjunction with Sierra Nevada Corp is on the verge of winning a $355 contract building the Super Tucano for the USAF to be used in Afganistan.

As specified by the Air Force, SNC is being awarded a firm-fixed price delivery order 0001 contract in the amount of $355,126,541 for the Light Air Support (LAS) aircraft and associated support.

TADF which is in the business of pilot training is in poccession of the only FAA certified Super Tucano in the US. TADF COO and former Blackwater pilot, Mike "Ratso" Cariello, is one of the few pilots in the US certified to fly a Super Tucano.

Mr. Cariello is one of the few pilots in the U.S. currently approved to fly a Super Tucano, and is spearheading the Super Tucano joint operations for TADF. Mr. Cariello served in the U.S. Marine Corp for some 14 years including a 3-year appointment as Adversary Officer at the Top Gun Fighter Weapons School for the Navy and Marine Corps.  Mr. Cariello also served as the 767 Program Manager and Chief Pilot for Blackwater, Inc., previously one of the largest U.S. Defense contractors in Iraq from 2005 through 2007.

With FUNDING from TADS and PERSONNEL from TACAIR, the two companies together acquired the Super Tucano from Blackwater.

FAA registry information:
314TG is owned by XE, formally Blackwater

Flight information found:
First, I went to the FAA registry to get the serial number of that one SuperT listed.
You can go here http://registry.faa.gov/ and do a search for yourself. I entered Embraer and scrolled down until I found the EMB-314B1. It has a serial number of 31400082
I then went to http://www.landings.com and did a search for the tail number by using the serial number. It returned the tail number N314TG.
I then went to search for flights on http://www.FltPlan.com. I entered the tail number and it returned several flights for this tail number.

       1. 09/08/11 at 16:38:00 from KRDU to KMKL
This is a flight from Raleigh/Durham North Carolina to Jackson, Tennessee
       2. 09/08/11 at 21:48:00 from KFDR to KABQ
Frederick, Oklahoma to Albuquerque, New Mexico
       3. 09/09/11 at 11:34:00 from KABQ to KCDC
Albuquerque, New Mexico to Cedar City, Utah

The press release dated Sept. 14, 2011 which say "delivered last friday" correspond to Sept 09, 2011, which is the date of the last flight listed on the flight plan.

TADF has partnered with TACAIR, another small business who trains pilots. Together they are trying to land a contract to train pilots for the Super Tucano.

The connections between the winning company Sierra Corp and our company TADF:
Sierra Nevada corp has mentioned TADF in press releases and have posted a video of a SNC exec taking a flight in the Super Tucano that is in poccession of TADF/TACAIR, even showing the TACAIR logo at the top of the video:
video link here, logo seen at 19 seconds into the video,      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uoWeB2O6qQ

We have also uncovered some previous military connections between the execs of SNC, TADF and TACAIR:
kilo post #13372

Fogleman-Deptula: Served together at HQ USAF, DC 88-92 and then again in 1997. Deptula and R.C Thompson worked together at the US Strategic Command. Rick, Roland, Gamble worked together at NSWAC and all three have crossed paths with Deptula in the USAF, I have not found out to what lengths but I will. I have only been at it for a few hours. I am still looking for a connection between them and Mike C. it may take a little longer though. All the men in this group have worked with or around each other.
