If Occam is selected for this... I'll start buying TXP.
The $7.2B in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds allocated to expand the reach of broadband has created quite a stir in our industry. Behind the hype, there are real questions about who, what, when, where and how. As the facts become available, Occam will share them here.

This is a reply to your find with Occam. If I check further the site their is also ONT's of CIG. This seems like they still have some partnership going between CIG and TXP if they supply their ONT's at the same time for Occam.

We deserve to know!!!!
I believe when they went public. March?
No just found it in the Calix profile on Yahoo finance. Positive because it's must be new information knowing that Calix went public a short while ago.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/pr?s=CALX+Profile
Can you supply a link? I looked over the website but found no direct mention of TXP. Yet, some equipment did remind me of TXP products. Bears further research. Have you contacted IR?
when was this profile made up?

Looks like the assets of TXPO will be sold to the highest bidder? and than probably the debts will be paid leaving nothing for the shareholders? Any other views?

Hi Tom, any door knocking on this one? I sure hope so!
The info was forwarded. I keep TXP away as for as possible. Not much to do here except wait for the outcome. TXP is still doing business I hear. Slowly I assume but alive.
I sometimes wonder to pick up some shares now but I don't see reasons why I should do that simply because Shores and Co kept us in the dark for so long. Really disappointed in Shores. Not so long ago he told me we were the best shareholders in the world. What changed that? oh, I remember... the money/loan got frozen.
Thanks for hanging around and digging this out.
It's a very, very long shot, but still a small chance that reorganization somehow saved us remaining shareholders.
How will we ever know the outcome?

Forget about what I posted before on website traffic. It's wrong because there is a difference between TXP.COM and TXPCORP.COM. Wanne know the results? Not good...
I agree. I'm of like mind as you about this whole mess. I just can't think of any reason for the silence.
choo
That is a huge spike in site traffic..but beware of the small sample size being used. Let's look for trends. I use compete.com all the time, but do not have the PRO version. If I did, I could see where the traffic is coming from...which would tell us a lot about potential vendor relationships. I doubt they're buying display ads, or even Google Adwords....or are they? Can anyone research a few key terms, such as "Texas Prototypes", "TXP", "ONT", etc on Google????
I'm continuing to hold on to my shares and have hope that there is a future for both the company and the equity holders. I'm confused but holding and hoping. The stock has not been wiped off the exchange, so there is reason to hope and we have evidence that business continues to transpire at TXP.
Could be,who knows? You know what seems crazy to me is the total, absolute silence from TXP. I have written them as well as others on this board and have yet to get a response. Their shares are still trading. They haven't notified the Pink Sheets OTC Market of a termination of trading due to a court ordered wipe out of share value. They haven't released any public information pertaining to the bankruptcy outcome. It makes me wonder just what in the heck is going on with this company. It wouldn't cost them a dime to publicize the status of the company. All they would have to do is put the information on their web site.
It also make me wonder why the Pink Sheets OTC Market after attaching the, "insider trading warning due to the possibility the company might not be making material information public", would continue to trade the stock knowing it might be worthless. It seems they would contact the company and demand the outcome of the bankruptcy proceeding,in order to prevent their liability for allowing a worthless security to be traded on their exchange. Could it be that maybe they have and their continues to be value to the stock?

Check out the link guys!? See the increase in interest in the TXP.COM site. Could this be that business is good over at TXP?
Skidos - It is great news for txp and it did put a smile on my face. I just hope that it's good news too for us as well.
As I said before - one way or another - I would like to know where we stand as shareholders/either way - closure or ray of hope / we deserve something - I mean there really is only a handful of us waiting for an update.
Tax loss selling season is coming soon no??? I for surely took a large capital loss on this one ..... Mr. Shores could at least let me know if it was a total right off/loss.
OT: I am in RKN.TO (tsx) and looking for an easy double soon.
My new criteria for investing in small cap is -no debt - cash flow positive - and hot sector. RKN meets all !! and is seemingly undiscovered.
Cheers,
It is clear they are not telling us. But maybe, just maybe this release by Occam today shows things have turned around. If Occam includes TXP ONT's in their product line it tells us that they trust TXP will be around in the future. And that trust is good for us to see maybe a little shift in shareprice.
Then again I don't care anymore. Shores needs to make it up again with his 'loyal' shareholders. I don't have the soul to pull the TXP-wagon again. Maybe if he lands on his knees and begs for it! Haha
Hey Skidos,
What we really need to find out is where we stand as shareholders and if/when TXP is going to ever release any news on this whole mess of a situation.
Shores really did seem like a stand up guy.... I wonder why all the silence - even now when the court proceedings etc have been resolved.....
Some closure would be nice on this - either way.
Cheers,
Chris
Nice find!
Hmm, maybe we have to check out what revenue OCCAM is generating from those ONT's.

Good luck on getting a response Walter. I've e-mailed them twice and still no reply.

I sent them a mail to ask what is left over for the old shareholders
Current ForsheyProstok LLP site says:
Current Debtor Representations
TXP Corporation
The firm has successfully reorganized TXP Corporation eliminating over 20 million dollars of debt while allowing the company to capitalize on its significant business relationships. The Debtor is an original design manufacturer (ODM) for the communications industry.
I don't know if this is "news" ...but I like the use of the term "successfully reorganized".

This company may not be making material information publicly available.
If you are an affiliate, employee, insider, or any person in possession of nonpublic material information about this company, please be advised that buying or selling this security may constitute trading "on the basis of" material nonpublic information prohibited under Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rules 10b-5 and 10b5-1 thereunder. Violators of these laws are subject to civil and criminal penalties.
What is insider trading?
Illegal insider trading refers generally to buying or selling a security, in breach of a fiduciary duty or other relationship of trust and confidence, while in possession of material, nonpublic information about the security.
Rule 10b5-1 provides that a person trades on the basis of material nonpublic information if that person is "aware" of the material nonpublic information at the time of the purchase or sale.
Affiliates, insiders, relatives, or other persons in possession of material information should use extreme caution when buying or selling securities on the basis of material information, particularly in securities where the company is not making adequate current information publicly available as a matter of practice.
Why is Pink OTC displaying this warning?
Companies that are identified on pinksheets.com as having “No Information” may be placing their shareholders at risk of violating 10b5-1 insider trading rules. Pink OTC Markets recommends that investors wishing to place a trade in such securities contact the company to verify it is making adequate current information publicly available.
How can a company make material information publicly available?
Companies can make material information publicly available by registering a class of their securities and making current reports with the SEC.
Companies can make material information publicly available by qualifying under Rule 12g3-2(b) under the Exchange Act (“Rule 12g3-2(b)”).
For companies that are not subject to SEC reporting requirements under 12(g) or 12(b) of the Act, Pink OTC Markets provides the Alternative Reporting Standard to facilitate the availability of adequate current information.
Companies that post such information through the OTC Disclosure & News Service are able to conveniently and efficiently make their information publicly available on their quote page on www.pinksheets.com.
The Alternative Reporting Standard is designed for companies to meet the minimum disclosure requirements under SEC Rules 15c211 and 144(b) and assist companies in protecting their affiliates from 10b5-1 violations. Companies are urged to seek the advice of experienced securities counsel regarding materiality and methods to make material information publicly available.
For more information about the Alternative Reporting Standard, please visit our Alternative Reporting Standard page.
Note: Companies may choose to provide current information on their corporate websites. Pink OTC Markets encourages affiliates, employees, insiders, or any person in possession of nonpublic material information about a company to examine the company's corporate website for current information, if they are not able to find it through pinksheets.com or in current reports filed with the SEC, to ensure compliance with Rules 10b-5 and 10b5-1. However, the warning message on the company's quote page on pinksheets.com will continue to be displayed. To remove this warning message, the company must meet one of the three standards listed above.
For an overview of insider trading, visit the SEC’s website at http://sec.gov/answers/insider.htm.
What about some news? That would be nice.
Yes there must be news but I don't have access. I'm not a US residant and did't see the point of having my password send to Belguim. You can try if you want:

Hello? Is this thing on?
Is there any news on the bankruptcy? Court dates or anything?

I think someone just wants to take the loss on their 2009 Taxes. In order to do that, they have to sell by 12/31. Why today? Probably close enough...or they're just busy tomorrow.
I must say, selling 500,000 shares is a LOT. The bigger question is this: Who bought them??????
This is not good...or is it just pocket change for New-Year celebration?
