I don't get it either bb
Missed the end of day whack here, very common with illiquid tickers that go on iHub runs. Asian stocks can go a some of the biggest runs on the OTC...but...are rarely quick flips, iHubbers should know that by now but they never learn.
Rather then jumping in early they should wait for big bidders to show up, that's when you know it's ready to go. Getting in first on a Asian new trader is only for the patient, position trader.
Thanks, I must have missed that.
I guess the next bit of info to expect from them is the 10K that is due March 31st, unless they decide to release some 8k before that
Not sure, the latest Q says they were sold for $3K but no indication if it was a single investor or multiple investors.
Do you know what happened to the 3M shares Plush offered last year?
https://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=11255574
the OS is apparently 8M, 5 of which is owned by TRON. Who owns the 3M remaining shares from the offering? If no one bought them, then they should be returned to the treasury, making the OS the original 5M.
GLED playing tricks. Was 1.01x1.50, then it seems like it sold to the retail bidder at 0.80 and dropped the ask to 1.01
The closest I came to his contact info was his LinkedIn
https://www.linkedin.com/in/dato-sri-dr-eric-yap-4419b080
He also has a Google+

I wish I could find the direct contact info for Eric Yap, we know he speaks English. It could be our emails are getting lost in translation, I'd doubt whoever receives the info@tron.com.my inquiries speaks English.
I emailed them last week. No response yet unfortunately.
You gotta think they're working on their financials. I wish they would respond
Could you try emailing these guys when you get a chance, perhaps the more US investor inquiries they get, the faster they will establish an English speaking IR point of contact for us.
I have a few questions for them, though typical of most Asian companies, I haven't had any luck getting though yet, I've been using info@tron.com.my.
I've read that their goal is 5M subscribers, which makes me wonder if they are going to do this through acquisition of other MVNO's, thus the reason they have gone public on the OTC.
Also, I'm curious about this:
I've been trying to gauge where Tron falls within the Malay/Asian MVNO space
Seems like the largest MVNO there is Tune Talk (1.5 million subscribers? http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/tune-talk-selects-flytxt-for-customer-value-management-567330581.html)
Other big one is XOX (1.65 million scrubscribers? http://www.wikivisually.com/wiki/XOX)
This report from 2016 singles out Tune Talk and TRON, so you gotta think those are the two biggest ones now. But, the report costs a crapton lol: https://www.wiseguyreports.com/reports/349582-mvnos-in-emerging-asia-choosing-the-right-business-model-and-partners-are-key-to-success
Most of these numbers seem to be outdated though, so it's hard to judge.
XOX trades on the Malay stock market. Nothing exciting:
https://www.google.com/finance?cid=212270577281171
Tune Talk has not IPO'd yet. There were talks of that in 2015:
http://www.stockhut.com.my/news/26653
Maybe they'll do the same thing as Tron, IPO in the US?
I think this is one of the better looking Asian companies I've seen go public on the OTC in a few years. That doesn't mean it's going to be the next UBIA, but at least there is a lot of information out there on it, it's easy to confirm that it's 100% real and verifiable company....I can't say the same about UBIA.
The question is, will it be one of those Asian companies that gets no interest and is highly illiquid, despite having huge revenues...or... are they going to bring in deep pocket Asian buyers and take it to $3-5+ pps. One of those interviews I posted said Eric Yap has 'deep pockets' so hopefully he'll bring in some of his wealthy friends to invest as well.
At this point it doesn't appear that TRON has any sort of IR in place yet. I've tried reaching out to them but no luck, it's all too new right now, we're the first buyers, I doubt they expected anyone was even watching this.
Stellar dd as always, bb
Makes sense because

Buzzme was IEC3G at one point according to your article, sold by IEC to Tron in 2013

Not sure, I really don't pay much attention unless there is a major tier change (ie Pink to OTCQB, OTCQB to OTCQX, etc, etc).
OTCM showing a venue change on March 2, from "OTC Link/FINRA BB" to just "OTC Link"
I'm not sure how to interpret that
Looks like another subsidiary is TRONEXUS.

Eric Yap interview, it's in English though the sound isn't great so I can't make out everything that is being said.

This article is the primarily reason I believe why, I think BuzzMe is essentially TRON in Thailand. ALso, you see TRON CEO Eric Yap in many of the BuzzMe pictures.
Plus why would they call the company TRON "Group" Inc. if there were not multiple entities or subsidiaries involved....certainly makes sense.

I believe this company, BuzzMe, is going to fall under the TRON Group, I could be wrong but that's what the DD is showing thus far.

Sounds like a rapidly growing company, according to this they are signing up 3000 new wireless customers per day.
Corporate presentation, according to this they have over 400K cell phone customers so far.

Tron is a global telecommunications group and mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that offers revolutionary borderless voice, data and other value-added services. In Malaysia, Tron received its full-fledged Network Service Provider (NSP) license from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in 2011.
As a lifestyle brand for next generation users, Tron – which stands for Technology Revolution On-Net – was created from a desire and vision to connect the world at very affordable costs by facilitating our customers’ digital and mobile lives.
Our goal is to build an expanding global community of Tronian who enjoy a global lifestyle without borders.
Our philosophy is simple: to consistently provide the most economical and practical roaming solutions as well as value-added over-the-top (OTT) services such as special incentives and promotions.
To this end, Tron eliminates the need for global travellers to rely on home operator networks – which can lead to expensive roaming charges, or on “WIFI where available” – which can sometimes be inconvenient. With Tron’s Global SIM Pro, you can remain fully connected anytime and anywhere while enjoying great savings and super deals.
We also offer free roaming in more than 50 countries and our Global SIM Pro allows customers to stay connected in more than 200 countries.
Additionally, our new revolutionary hybrid Global SIM further reduces the complexity of calculating roaming charges, especially when travelling to multiple countries. With this new hybrid SIM, customers have peace of mind that they will be connected 24/7 while enjoying great savings of up to 90 percent on voice and data.
Tron is also the first in Malaysia to launch a 4G Global SIM for customers who desire or require mega-fast browsing and downloading.
We are also proud to be the first telecom company in Malaysia to provide customers with unconditional 365-day validity for top-ups, something that other telcos have yet to offer. This means that each time you reload, you can stay connected for a full year. And with our global reload network, you can top-up online from anywhere in the world.
Here at Tron, we also work very hard to innovate on value-added services and offerings to provide our customers with even more perks and rewards. By working with partners such as airlines, hotels, restaurants and other merchants, Tron customers can enjoy endless promotions and exclusive discounts. And that’s not all! There are Tron Points to be earned for every single purchase and all Tron Points are redeemable for discount vouchers or Tron reloads.
Tron is currently revamping its retail strategy to better serve the needs of a rapidly expanding Tronian community.
In addition to Malaysia, Tron also has presence in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand and the United States.
