Mr retire you seem to interpret wordings to your own agenda, I never said anything about ownership. I did however give eyewitness accounts of events regarding Larry P's actions at iterated and turn over of so called source code both on paper listing and on cd disk. do I know for sure what those elements contained?
let me get to what i know about you and your incorrect postings on another matter. you have posted several times a total fabrication regarding my brother in law. you said jo stratter received 800,000 free shares of tmmi stock. as it turns out you were wrong again. I have discussed this with mr stratter and a previous tmm director. as I have seen documented proof. Mike Fernandez and joe stratter entered into a legal transaction. mr stratter swapped shares with fernanez. the result was most of the dfmi founding shares "millions" awarded to stratter were swapped with tmm shares. you may want to contact mr stan ford director of tmm at the time of the trade action for verification. however those that seek lies and publish false data often just go into hiding without the truth ever being revealed.
since you have chosen to defame mr stratter he has sought out legal action against you. when this becomes public i suppose you may continue to post public lies.
I wouldnt.Mr. stratter has copies of he trade transaction. wise up as you have gone to far and now be ready to receive justice for your actions. not a threat, just fact, something you lack.
In fact mr stratter was hired by tmm in april 1999 to replace Magnum as their shareholder solution. Joe worked this position for over a year at the agreed upon salary same as magnum. mr stratter was only compensated for the fist months pay, thus leaving a balance over $72,000 dollars owed to him from tmm. looking forward to your response.
As I said, there is a ladder in desperate need of its owner. I think I'm just going to let this last post of yours hang out there.
I have found you to be a complete bully. I am not going to defend my ethics to you or anyone else. I posted I was leaving TMM shares on IHUB. I shared that I was going to look at Dimension on IHUB. I posted TMM would lose the lawsuit in March 2013 based on my direct exposure and conversations with Fernandez.
While you have broader experience and apparently more years than I do, facts don’t change because you don’t like the outcome. Of course TMM’s share price is depressed by shorting. It couldn’t be that it might be from horrible mismanagement,; outright lying PR’s (Raytheon), sales that were PR’d but never showed up on any financial statement, changing the corporate office location multiple times, rewarding big investors with Board seats, officers convicted of crimes…….no it’s just short positions on a 1-1/2 cent stock.
Let me be clear, I have found you to be a deceptive poster dating back decades and I have no reason to believe anything has changed in that regard. Once again I am obliged to point out DFI was provided the PVS/SGI license on behalf of TMMI which had spent millions in development costs. This fact is indisputable, whatever conversations you may have had with Fernandez is immaterial to the actual ownership of the various iterations of the fractal code that TMMI developed.
As for the court's decision concerning ownership, it is with regards to the PVS/SGI license which had to do with the vastly outdated supercomputer application of that era. That's it. None of TMMI's previous software was ever transferred out of the company. This whole DFI fight back in 2000 was over the development of a new player that would have enabled TMMI's Soft Video to play in Windows and also over broadband and as a further reminder and previously stated, TMMI developed its own modern VDK 3 player from scratch and is not dependant on any of the code that been under dispute.
This is what you get when you have people with little or no software development experience interfere with the internal affairs of a company.
Brilliant retort. I think you and Fernandez were and might still be friends. Do you think I’m lying when I post that he told me that TMM didn’t own the codec? My response was what in the hell do we (TMM) own? His response was we have access to Clear Video and that’s a pretty good codec.
There is a ladder out there in desperate need of its owner.
“With his twisted drive by version of ownership”. I have not mislead anyone. The then President of TMM told me to my face that TMM didn’t own it. I was upset when he said that. The Nevada court recently said the same thing. Did Panik dupe TMM? I don’t know and don’t really care.
I left TMM ownership of shares after TMM declared that they were no longer interested in, and quit working with fractal technology in a PR.. Obviously they found something better, or were lying.
Excellent post tmmi-newbie. Your description of the technology and the excitement from industry experts on their reaction to what they saw is bang-on. Unfortunately, we have a poster who has managed to taunt and insult posters who recognized MAXD for the scam that it is and drew them here. I believe they will come to a better understanding and realize this poster is not worth their effort.
Regarding the ownership issue, this is my broad understanding of what transpired over the years and why this legal fight has gone on for as long as it has. 4retire continues to mislead shareholders with his driveby twisted version of ownership. TMMI spent over $3,000,000 on a JV with Iterated Systems Inc. in the early 1990's to develop both VDK1.4 and VDK2 fractal codecs before MCI came along and spent and spent an additional $30,000,000 on the code. The $500,000 you mentioned was a final payment (considering the $40,000,000 spent to date) to ISI for the delivery of SGI/PVS version of VDK2 source code license. At that point in time TMMI was disfunctional and in the interim DFI was created to conclude the transaction on behalf of TMMI. This was all done with the understanding TMMI would later acquire DFI. When the Dentist refused to honor the original agreement, another company, DFMI was created and fraudulently claimed ownership of the SGI/PVS VDK2 source code license which was never legally transferred out of DFI. When the Dentist found himself without TMMI support he misrepresented the original agreement to ISI and was given access to the source code and has created confusion over ownership ever since.
Fast forward to 2012-2103, TMMI acquired DFI and the SGI/PVS version of VDK2 source code license and withTMMI already owning its previous SoftVideo products it had co-developed with ISI in the early 1990's, TMMI carried on and created its own modern 64-bit multi-threaded VDK3 player that had nothing to do with the old DirectShow filter code from 2000 and despite this fundamental development work the Dentist and his cronies continued to interfere with TMMI's potential customers over the years and on numerous occasions claiming ownership of the codec.
Unfortunately, this has caused immeasurable damage to TMMI and its shareholders and one hopes this long path to legal resolution may be finally coming to an end. Here's hoping for a successful outcome for all of us long-suffering shareholders.
You say the tech is fake? Have you evaluated it as a competent fractal technician? I witnessed a professor in technology who did his thesis on fractal tech
only to be blown away by what he saw. there was a problem of total confirmation a this gentleman requested a copy of the source code to examine. this request
was denied. you just don't let the source code out of sight for a moment. there were several others with quite impressive knowledge in this field also impressed.
one benchmark that was displayed as requested was how the video responded to both fire and or clouds. the reviewers acted as if they just saw a miracle
I am not promoting, just relaying my opportunities to be present during these demonstrations. unless you are of the technical caliber to evaluate such technology
please hold the negative view point. your opinion is welcome as is everyone. I believe the tru-def is spot on, perhaps the marketing is a bit lacking.
my vision for this tech would be for all streaming providers. the tremendous increase in throughput speed would blow the minds of the streaming services.
regarding question from 4retire, I passs no judgement on rightful ownership, only on the events leading up to how we got to where we are today
Tmmi-newbie your post stated Panik owns the disputed codec that has been the subject of thousands of posts and two known lawsuits. Is this the same codec that was in dispute in the case held in Ventura County in the early 2000’s wherein the court decided TMM wasn’t the owner? Is this the same codec that Panik just won in a lawsuit in Nevada recently? Is this the same codec that TMM filed a lawsuit against Dimension in March 2013 after learning Dimension was granted a patent with it? Is this PVS-SGI codec you’re referencing?
History certainly shows egos, falsehoods, dark ethics and horrible mismanagement of a public company. I recall meeting Joe Stratter and Tom Simpson with Fernandez at Dave Elliot’s home and seeing a clip of the codec in action. I was elated after seeing the demonstration. Then I learned something disturbing….. I was frustrated when Fernandez said it wasn’t TMM’s codec but that we were going to work with the owner of the codec.. That never happened.
After reading a few recent postings it is evident that communications and corporate governance is not high on the list of TMM’s managers. That was true for the 19 years that I was a TMM shareholder. Sad to see that nothing has changed. I see some posters are still here that I used to communicate with in the past.. I certainly hope that something good may still happen for them
Great post. Thank you for the history tmmi-newbie.
Mr. Guts: thanks for your input today and through out the years. The insight you have regarding this issue and the market in general esp your views regarding
the shot positions and how they have manipulated tmmi pricing. My take on the dentist and his reasonings for the suit have always been his anger regarding
Mr. fernandez and why TMM was not going to market with their tech. Panick was an original founder with others of Digital focus Media. He was beyond upset
that he was not recognized as the company CEO. In fact the dentist was offered the position but refused the appointment. The foul relationship between Mr Simpson and himself prevented him from moving in this direction. Frustrated, he decided to venture out and procure the codec himself. raising the $500,000
dollars and negotiating with Dr. Barnsley to purchase said tech was a legitimate deal. Unfortunately for him this went sour. Mr Simpson was key to his going
bad as the doctor needed Tom to provide technical support in binging the tech to market. Larry having lost out again opted to take his purchased code in another direction making himself CEO of DFMI and attempting to build a viable vehicle for Tru-def using anyone he could to assist in this endeavor. his hiring of those associated with he original code creation did not realize his dream. In the background those that invested in the $500,000 procurement were not so happy
with his failures. Realizing that Tmm was continuing to ignore him and continuing to move forward thus eliminating him from the equation. His only choice
was to firm up his claim of true ownership. In fact presenting his payment he did receive the written code and the compiled code on CD. He assumed his
rightful ownership. Unfortunately, this lawsuit barrage over the years could have been avoided had He , mr simpson and mr fernandeze worked together a
different outcome would be before us today. The Egos and greed involved simply dissolved any chance of a positive ending.
One last note. The tech is viable and functions as o0ften described. Little does the public know an actual sale was made to a marketing company using
compression software several years ago
One knows about stupid lawsuits
How’s that in ground asset thing doing ?
How’s that mining thing coming along ?
Do your own research its posted allover their website....
I made it very clear that TMMI should of partnered up with MSFT decades ago....
I laid it all out, if you're bored than read my posts from yesteryear....
There's a product, but stupid lawsuits keep holding things up!!!!
It's remarks like that that, asking (why?) which brings shrimp baiters from nowhere land, with NO interest in TMMI whatsoever to place nonsense on this board!!!!
Jay say TMMI is as real as was MAXD, and Jay would certainly know
Jay; You say "TMMI IS real" why? What do you actually know? What do they have that is real. They don't even
return calls, produce a product or communicate. They do not display any of our comments on Linkedin. Their financials don't show wages.
The people on their page do not return any communication and/or do not work there. Why would any reputable company
put their advisors, investors or employees through these frivolous lawsuits. There seems to be too much ego and not enough IQ to settle.
Wrong board lol btw TMMI IS real,
And
Halpern has nothing to do with TMMI....
He never, ever had anything to do with this company....lol
One needs to stop listening to
shrimp baiters, spewing wrong information,
probably best to get a real hobby!!!! Lol
TMMI's fake tech is as bogus today as it was 8 years ago.
I'm not surprised Halpern has his minions trying to hype this corpse again.
Somebody must be home shutting the lights on an off! Hope we see a brand new updated web page, Linkedin etc.
Very encouraging , imo

[105] Declaration of Susan Bala in Support of TMM, Inc.'s Opposition to Lawrence F. Panik's Special Motion to Dismiss Pursuant to Nevada's Anti-SLAPP Statute "
This seemingly unending court case, although appearing frivolous and unnecessary, as there is the option of settlement, is very interesting. I conclude that something of real, substantial value is known and sought after by the parties, that we are unaware of. I think this has nothing to do with egos or incompetence. imo
Certainly the only ones making money from TMMI are the lawyers.

I have called a few times to find out whats going on with the site. No one answers the phone.
I've noticed both tmmi.us and trudef.us were down over the weekend and still are.
It appears the website is still down. Can anyone else access it?
Where's TMMI? Can't find on the web???
TMMInc needs a bold new leader like Greg Halpern to run this company profitably. Even with the high heels, things will get better
I was actually being sarcastic.
Nesurk; I tried to buy few times years ago without success. Never saw any comments either.
Let us know what you find.
Does anyone know where I can buy a TMMI Mini PC X?
If you read my post,
I'm hoping that TMMI is acquired to expand to the next level,
IF the technology is still usable....
This is the news this board, and shareholders need to read....
It's time for management to stop sitting on their butts and actually do something, something more than court appearances!!!!
Release a PR on the future of this company and
not just court news on the website X(Twitter)
Since when is news generated on a website, X,
and not on ihub....
We have two key players,(CEO/Board member)
that should of made the move with their accomplishments
(Offtrack betting and Casinos)
but nothing has been done,
if it's the excuse of court mishaps,
okay, then come out and let the shareholders know....
Imo, missed revenue!!!!
What we get is another new corporate address, somewhere in Surf Beach, South Carolina
and nothing more,
And
from what I'm understanding this SC location
is where Susan Bala resides....lol
Another can getting kicked down the road....
I wouldn't be surprised if she leaves next
and TMMI gets yet another new CEO....
35 years
and TMMI still trying to figure it out!!!!
GREAT News, TMM to be acquired thanks Jay any details. Strange I thought that news of this importance we would have received a press release
When's news coming about TMMI being acquired????
IF the technology can be used in todays world, it's probably best for the company to be acquired to take TMMI to the next level....
As a shareholder, just like many other long-time shareholders
I rather see a decent share price, buy-out, takeover for an acquisition!!!!
The problem is there has been no communication from management and being tied up with lawsuits for over 30 years makes no sense with lack of communication between management and shareholders....
I thought Susan Bala was key, especially with her resume....
Offtrack betting would of been one avenue....
The other avenue was this guy that join the board who worked in the casino industry....
Two avenue's that TMMI could of been making money, showing revenue and pushing the POS upwards....
Imo
let's get past the court case once and for all and get the company evaluated and find a company for a takeover, giving shareholders a decent price per share$$$$
Cricket's....
Court case is in a few days. I wonder if there is any negotiating go on. Would make since with all the top gun advisors and management
on board. Why would anyone want to drag people of that stature through a court case?
Stockholder meeting? When can we all go the world famous headquarters to meet the staff, employees, research personnel and developers?
Good entertainment, one could only hope. I'm sure we will see more A-I generated sites as time goes by.
This is an interesting site: https://www.macroaxis.com/future-stock-price/TMMI/25.19?a=more
Susan, Susan, Susan, where are you ???
Need a CodeBaby-like relationship PR. Imagine a NVDA affiliation ! To da moon !
My last post correction, meant " if" not " is ". Sorry. Really need to update my glasses.
Sure would be nice is Susan could work out a deal with NVDA.
I'm speaking figuratively when I say that TMMI could become a unique stock if all the pieces fall into place. Ergo a "Unicorn".
Lawsuits were filed when it became evident that the Dentist and his associates were trying to obstruct TMMI's progress by falsely claiming ownership of TMMI's fractal compression technology, which TMMI had invested millions in developing. The harm caused by the Dentist and his associates is immeasurable, and for him to be rewarded with millions of shares of the company for his actions would be a grave injustice. I cannot speak for the company, but from my perspective, the failure to resolve this unfortunate chapter in TMM history is not about ego; it reflects a flawed legal system that permits such absurdity to persist for what seems an eternity.
How can a publicly owned company go unicorn?
Stewguts, I've never understood the lawsuits and purpose thereof. One would think with all the high dollar educated advisors and managers there would be some rational in favor of negotiating with all parties. In some cases, low IQ and bubbling EGO can sink ships. I vote Unicorn!
That's an insightful question MisteraVA. From my perspective, it seems that liquidity in TMMI's market has been intentionally restricted to dampen retail investor interest in the stock. What's particularly interesting is despite the considerable accumulation of stock over the past twenty years, TMMI remains confined to under two cents. This indicates to me there is a genuine fear among those responsible for the naked short position regarding TMMI gaining momentum with retail investors. One need only look at the last few trading sessions to see what I speak of.
We are sitting with a unicorn stock if things ever fall into place with TMMI.
