WOW so this is a SEC policy? So what are they expecting to do? If they destroy them all, then the new co who takes over the shell can just get a new TA and say forget all the old cert holders?

Bad news. BOA says that the SEC told the DTC to destroy certificates of all stocks that have not had a Transfer Agent for 6 years. I am waiting for a call back from someone higher up (this was the manager of the BOA rep I originally spoke to).

My PSYC shares have "expired".

My PSYC shares disappeared from my Bank of America account. All that is left is a transaction in my history section described as "expired sykes datatronics inc"

BOA informed me that the SEC told them to remove the stock from all accounts because it was deemed worthless, due to the fact that it has not had a transfer agent for over 6 years.

If it ever gets a transfer agent, it will be put back into my account. They said this happened to 3 stocks.

I filed a complaint with the SEC.

They finally filled me at .005- I've been on the bid for about a week.

I was reading some posts about the huge buildings and land area they had. A lot of people were saying it burned down.... Not sure if it burned down before they went out of business or if that was some time later. Seems like a little landmark for New Yorkers. Guess its one of those cool places for teenagers to go hand out or something.lol

FYI- I heard from 1 of the 3 people I emailed. He was just an employee of Sykes and had no specific knowledge about the company/shell, etc.

Crap it might take me a while to find them. Ive looked up a bunch. I first thought the NY SOS was a lost cause b/c there were so many inactive ones and thought it would be sucky like DE(but even DE is starting to get active now. maybe NV and FL etc are running out of clean shells?). But then I found a couple that were reactivated with diff names, like CFON and one or two others that I cant think of off hand. Then I found 3 I believe that were reactivated/active with no name like PSYC. Its up to the person if they want to put their name. Its not required. But will let you know if I can find them in my notes.

Interesting, let me know what you find out. But yeah a lot of times they dont respond but Ive had a few that have. Ive only seen 1 or two other ones like this on the NY SOS out of all the ones that Ive found.

You piqued my curiousity, so I started doing some DD. It looks interesting; my only concern is how clean this shell is. It may be clean as a result of being separated from Sykes Datatronics as a result of the bankruptcy, but the company did have to defend itself against some alledged stock sales fraud. They defended themselves successfully, FWIW.

Should make some cash. This is good for a few hun % at least.imo Was doing some research on the old co. Looks like their building burnt down a few years ago. These co's are usually inactive on the NY SOS. This is showing active so its got to have something going on with it.imo Just got to keep digging.
