Then why did you click you are bearish? I definitely recognize the company has value, but it has run up on pure hype and euphoria. The P/E has even caught up with NVDA which I didn't think possible.
I was going through some old emails today and came across one from my old buddy Mark Cuban, who had sent me this about 20 years ago. I can't think of a more apropos place to post this....It's a fairly long read, but well worth it. I think he posted it elsewhere after.
Fung, you remind me of a joke that goes a bit like this.
A man is driving home and gets a call from his wife. She says, "Be careful, there's some moron driving in the wrong side of the highway." He responds, "There's not just one, there's bloody hundreds of them!"
I’ve been here since $42 you can follow back in the history of post and see for yourself …I bought 50 shares (with my father) and we let go of 25 at $1000 so far ..not a bad profit so far ;)
Friday was a Triple witching day. Put options expired worthless and the shares purchased as hedges were no longer needed. The unneeded hedge shares were simply dumped back on the market. Dumping may continue today.
Somewhere in here will be a nice dead cat bounce. Of course the question is....where? I was going to guess a short one around $880, but it already had a bit of bounce at $865. This is so far extended now. Maybe consider it again around $555?
Yep. I was waiting for this drop today. Just watching…. Obviously missed this great run, so congrats to all that made BIG money here. I was not about to jump in the other day
I thought I was a genius at $487 selling. Missed the buy back at $460 by 15 minutes. This stock has gone from one of my faves to my nemesis. Anyway, many called for $1000 share price, so I'd expect selling to come now.
No doubt about it…….I’ve been loading the March 1st $1,210 calls……
Our Server and Storage systems for AI (among other markets) got my attention, after reading a great article about Super Micro in the Seattle Times newspaper last Sunday.
Crazy to think it was $4.00 years ago. Never have I ever seen a pump like this... Especially with their...... Net Income & Net Profit Margin down 14.87% and 25.6%
Important: If your E*TRADE account was transferred to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC (MSSB) in 2023, you may receive multiple tax forms for 2023: tax forms for your original E*TRADE account that reports all activity with E*TRADE Securities LLC before the transfer date, and additional tax forms for your transferred account that reports all activity with MSSB after the transfer date. These tax statements contain information related to different transactions and you and your tax advisor should consider and review all tax forms received when preparing your 2023 income tax return. Please note, there may be a slight timing difference in the availability of the tax forms issued for pre- and post-transfer activity.
If you would have told me that 20 years later, there are still people waiting on their CMKX check, I'd have told you that was too stupid to believe. Right now I'm trying to figure out how Vinny is not in prison. This makes no sense. He was only a low level mobster.
