Looking for an entry, anyone see .60's coming soon?
these shares were issued in December when the share price was much lower. This is the funds they needed to complete their aggressive 114 Bakken well program in 2011.

Are you aware of this stockholder meeting notice? Is it already in the Outstanding Shares or additional dilution?
Thinking about adding more, but this is giving me pause...
Thanks,

Not looking in down under, sold yesterday at $1.08. Thought SSN blood bath might carry over to Sundance.

Looks like Sundance is the only oil stock not getting killed today.

Add $500.00,again as money permits, and I talked with an investor playing oil stocks ,and he quoted SDCJF as STRONG BUY for many dollars until she settles. In other words ,we have a golden stock before us ,and I totally agree with him. This is a stock that is coming thru the BACK DOOR and once the big PLAYERS see how great this play is, "waalaa" you will have invested enough to make this a 10 bagger for you. There is no need to play any other stock for the next 6 months. You will be rewarded beyond???? Name it!!!After that it will be multiple dollars per share!!!!!
SDCJF.. I added again today @ $1.12.. SSN continues to make highs and I don't have a share.. Pappy Bob's got us all covered.... Starting to get a real position again.. I was spooked by the large underwriting that they did in the $0.50's and have waited for it to make a pullback since..

That chart is A Stairway to Heaven!
Sundance is moving along very smoothly, with a low risk drilling program dominated by larger JV partners who have the skill and clout to get their wells successfully drilled and completed.
Looking forward to seeing a production update that includes more of the backlog of wells waiting for fracs.

very positive because Henderson 4-26/35 is a 19.22%WI and they hit 2136bpd for the first 24hr production. That's over 400bpd net to Sundance. Obviously this will fall off quickly but it's a good sign when their highest working interest wells produce at the high end of the range.
Mandaree 7-17H and Bear Den 7-17H are also very positive and must be recently fracked.
Sundance is chugging along towards it's 2011 year end goal of 2,000bpd.

Response I received today from Sundance about possible uplisting out of the pinks in the US:
Joe,
Thank you for your support of & inquiry about Sundance. We regularly review the cost/benefit of a U.S. listing (including US peer valuation comparisons). Historically, we have been too small for a US listing as filing & compliance costs can serve to reduce capital available for growing the company (drilling wells and buying new prospects). As the Company grows and we hit the appropriate critical mass, we may look towards some form of dual-listing to tap U.S. liquidity and valuations.
Thank you again for your support & inquiry, we always enjoy engaging our shareholders & appreciate thoughts, questions & concerns. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
Best regards,
Eric McCrady

people have all kinds of reasons for selling. The important thing is that Sundance is rapidly increasing production in the US. Oil price is going up and Sundance has lots of partners drilling 114 wells in 2011. Niobrara is just gravy. Atoka and Pawnee are thrown in for free.
Development update from last week: any thoughts?
Catching up from vacation :)

I thought four new wells was good news, but perhaps the weather delays is impacting shareholders who are getting impatient?
Bought more today, I don't see anything stopping them from doubling production this year.
Thoughts?

News:
This was just posted on yahoo message board.

Sundance Energy Ltd shares are up more than 4% after the company struck an agreement with U.S. oil services giant Halliburton and Macquarie Group Ltd to hasten drilling work at its Niobara project in the United States. According to the agreement, Halliburton and Macquarie will participate in up to 40% of the Sundance acreage at its Silo and Bull Canyon prospects in states of Wyoming and Colorado.
Sundance will receive a non-refundable participation payment of A$A2.39 million in cash, under the deal. Halliburton and Macquarie will also pay up to A$3.89 million in development costs.
penny to dollar! Earlier than I expected, we are good .EOM
What a sleeper,I love it.This going to be a multiple dollar play, and the best thing is this is a long play for as long a ride you want.Nice and slow and steady.Steady she goes! Fantastic, rock solid company.
Not sure but I think this rally was related to Chesapeake's signing of the JV with CNOOC. Raises the value of all the Niobrara land and means that Chesapeake will have plenty of money to accelerate drilling and prove up the Niobrara for both Samson and Sundance.
Niobrara is definitely at an earlier stage than Bakken or Eagle Ford but not that far behind and plenty of big name players with capital and expertise to find out the best combination of drilling techniques to unlock the potential of the play.

Some Quick highlights that I see.
Revenue growth increased Q/Q 32%
Cash from Operations up sequentially from 3.1M in Q3 to 4.1M in Q4.
(revs should double by the end of the year if projections are met.)
The price they are getting for Oil is $73. and NG is over $8.00.
No need to raise more cash near term.
Currently 32 Million AUD in Cash. Projecting 7M in Q1 Capx for development out of cash on hand.
Looks like they can drill throughout 2011 without raising cash.
Other thoughts/Comments?

Henderson well finally reported in new production update today. 2136boepd in 24hr test. Sundance has 19.22% WI in the well so 400+boepd net to Sundance. Well on the way to 2,000boepd by 12/11. 114 well drill program in 2011.
10 Bagger
I think the Australian market is balancing out with the Currency difference and the all orders that waited for them to take Friday and Monday off before reopening Tuesday.
Still it looks like Bobwins (Thanks Bob!) did indeed do it again! I'm looking for this to move into a multi bagger from here as they keep operator status on the Niobara project, and with Halliburton giving them 2.4 million in cash and 3.9 million in drilling services, I think this is as close as we get to a "probable" multi bagger. I'm hoping they follow the pattern of a company like AEZ as they moved into operator and then were bought out. Or drill it, find more and grow shareholder value based on BOPD and proven reserves, like TGA.
FWIW,
Jeff

Sundance Energy
Sundance Energy Australia Limited (ASX: SEA) is an Adelaide-based independent energy exploration company with US headquarters in Broomfield Colorado.
Since listing on the ASX in April of 2005, Sundance has focused primarily upon the development of large, repeatable resource plays in the US where horizontal drilling, advanced, massive fracture stimulation and enhanced recovery technologies have provided the means to economically develop and produce oil and natural gas from unconventional shale formations. The Company currently owns in excess of 110,000 net acres in some of the most prospective shale basins in the US, including the Bakken fields of North Dakota and the DJ Basin in Colorado and Wyoming. Sundance operates more than a half of its prospects; in the balance of its plays, the Company is partnered with industry leading operators including Helis Oil & Gas, Newfield Exploration, Continental Resources, American Oil & Gas, EOG Resources and Hess Corporation..
In Australia, Sundance has participated in the development of several prospects in the Cooper Basin. And, it recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with industry leader Beach Energy Limited which will allow the two companies to work collaboratively in identifying, evaluating and acquiring interests in unconventional oil and gas plays in Australasia and, perhaps, other parts of the world. Sundance and Beach agreed to form a joint project team to evaluate and, if agreed, bid for opportunities to develop such plays. Beach also agreed to subscribe for approximately 9% of Sundance’s share capital and placed its Managing Director, Australian oil and gas industry icon Reg Nelson, on the Sundance Board.
The Company’s production exceeded 25,000 BOE in the final quarter of 2009, and is expected to reach that level on a monthly basis in 2010 with several fast paced drilling programs already underway. Sundance has no debt and is cash flow positive.
Bobwins, I just want to say I really appreciate what you do for other investors on these message boards. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Big announcement of JV with Halliburton and McQuarrie. Sundance retains operatorship, gets 2.4 million cash up front and is carried for 3.9 million. Also retains 3.5% ORRI on all property.
This looks like a great deal. With frack crews hard to schedule, Halliburton will ensure that we get ours. This brings in the best technical talent and also gives us access to info from other drillers in the area that are using Halliburton for services. We should get a head start on best drilling and completion techniques.
This is another example of how smart Sundance management is.
More good results coming. Also validates the quality of our acreage. Halliburton isn't going to pay to drill mediocre land.

Noble bought the Twister project from Sundance. Note that they plan 3 horizontal wells in SE Wyoming in 2010. Sundance gets 3.8% ORRI on any successful Noble wells in the Twister project.
Noble Energy - Niobrara Shale Q3 2010 Conference Call Comments - Part Two
Noble Energy (NBL) held a conference call on October 28, 2010, to discuss earnings and other information for the third quarter of 2010. The company made extensive comments on its activities in the Niobrara Shale, where the company has assembled a position of more than 830,000 net acres.
Rig Count
“We are operating six vertical rigs at Wattenberg and our Niobrara horizontal rig count has grow to three, with two rigs currently in Wattenberg and one on our Southeastern Wyoming acreage…Based on our results today and encouragement about the play, we currently plan to add a fourth horizontal rig in the second quarter next year and a fifth in the third quarter.
Acreage
“Our net acreage in the basin is now over 830,000, an increase of 80,000 acres since June with the majority of the additions coming from areas outside of Wattenberg.”
Drilling Activity
“Our plan is to have us doubling our horizontal Niobrara drilling activity next year. We will also continue acquiring 3D seismic adding another 1,000 square miles to the 300 we expect to have by the end of this year.”
“So far this year, we have drilled 15 wells in Wattenberg, two in core and 13 tests in the northern and eastern edges of the field. Recent horizontal well results in Wattenberg continue to be encouraging with the last 11wells having initial 24 hour rates between 550 and 850 barrels of oil equivalent per day with high oil content.”
“Some of the wells drilled on the edges of the field have been in areas we would consider marginally economic for vertical well development making areas that previously didn’t work now by viable with current technology.”
“In total, we’re still planning to have about 30 horizontal Niobrara wells drilled in the Basin this year; around 21 in Wattenberg, about six in Northern Colorado and three in Southeast Wyoming.”
EUR’s
“As we continue to obtain more production history, estimated ultimate recoveries are tracking on average with our 290,000 barrel of oil equivalents scenario. In total, we have 15 horizontal wells on production in Wattenberg including the three wells that were drilled in 2009.”
“Our teams continue to improve drill times highlighted by recent wells with a spud to TD in less than 15 days. On the completion side, while lateral lengths range from 3,300 to 5,100 feet, the number of frac stages per well has increased to 18 to 20 stages.”
Gemini Well
“We recently moved one of the horizontal rigs back into the core area of Wattenberg, a few miles from our Gemini well where we will be further testing recovery in the more vertically developed portion of the field…Gemini has now produced over 160,000 barrels of oil equivalent in just seven months and is still producing over 400 barrels of oil equivalent per day with liquids representing 30% to 40% of the volume.”

Averaged 522boepd for Q1, Avgd 657 for Sept 2010.
I own SSN as well. They have a similar business plan, loads of cash, no debt and leases in Bakken and Niobrara shales the same as Sundance.
There is money to be made here. I bought KOG ( a bakken play ) at .36 and sold most of it near $4.00
Put the money in SSN, Sundance, DEJ and MNLU.

Sundance Energy is an Australian company that has multiple prospects in the US and is focused on shale. They have assembled 148,000 net acres in the Bakken, Niobrara/DJ Basin and Illinois Basin.
Sundance's business plan is to get in early and cheap and let others derisk the play, selling off interest along the way and having others carry Sundance to production. As land values rise, Sundance continues to sell off interest to finance drilling and more land acquisition.
Company has demonstrated that they can execute this strategy and is in the midst of monetizing their Bakken interests into production with minimal risk.
Here is the latest presentation:

50 well drill program for 2010. Many of the wells are in the process of being drilled or completed now. Latest report had 28 wells in the process of being drilled, completed or tested.
Sundance started the year at around 350boepd. Should exit at 900boepd. This is company guidance but based on early results, guidance appears conservative. Company is around 750boepd now and JV partner AEZ just reported a big 3000boepd well that should add 100boepd to Sundance's totals and get them to 850boepd. These Bakken wells drop off quickly so Sundance will have to keep drilling to avoid declining production.
Sundance has 8500 net acres in the Bakken and 40 of the 50 wells will be drilled in the Bakken. Most are low working interest wells but are being drilled by Bakken heavyweights like EOG and AEZ/Hess. Sundance secured the land and then sold off majority interest to these bigger players.
Later in 2010, Sundance will start drilling their land in Colorado that is prospective for the newest shale area in the US, the Niobrara. The early results are similar to the Bakken and could become the next big shale area. EOG and other big names are moving in but Sundance has a large land package in good areas. They also hold much higher working interest of 40 to 80%. They will likely sell off some of this interest to help finance the drilling.
Sundance recently updated their reserves. They have PV10 proved and probable of $99 million based on less than 5% of their net acres and NONE of their Niobrara land.
