Hey Castle!! What's up? Anything going on over here?
MSTF ONMC RRGI ZIPL
Thanks,thats a good start.
I suppose if you can predefine stocks within their 5 and 10dma that would be a start. Stockcharts has predefined Continuation Patterns and Doji (Dragonfly & Gravestone) which could indicate a sideways pattern but you'd have to look at the chart to determine how long its been trading that way.
Candlestick Patterns

You can define your own searches here:

Hey Castle, which indicators would I put in StockCharts Scans to put on watch for Stocks in the range of .01 to .15 that have been trading sideways for 1 to 4 weeks?
Once I can predefine that then I could add my other indicators.
Thanks Curt

saw your post late... I traded this one a couple times (not in and not really looking to get back in)... so my impression is a lot cautious.
waiting for a merger... wouldn't trust it or the ceo. Go to the message board when the exitement started... I'm not really sure there is a short squeeze gonna happen.
Chart might not help... RS/short ??
castle...... can you confirm breakout? I think .335
it sure has taken a beating. Yahoo shows it to be a new issue - 1 year chart starts in March '06 Looks like if it can stabilize here you'd have support at .0055 - .006 and resistance at a penny to .012
From Pink Sheets:
Outstanding Shares: Not Available
Company Notes:
Formerly=Bright Star Holdings, Inc. until 9-03
Formerly=Food Safe International, Inc. until 3-05
Note=5-1-06 company is in the development stage
Class Notes:
Capital Change=shs decreased by 1 for 800 split. Pay date=09/11/2003.
Capital Change=shs decreased by 1 for 100 split. Effective date=1-28-04
Capital Change=shs increased by 4 for 1 split. Ex-date=3-4-05. Payable upon surrender
overall trend is down but looks like it's trying to turn. Support is around .75 resistance looks around a buck
sitting at support level, needs to hold. Would be good to get back over the 50ma
you should have some .075 support... if it goes through that look for .05 support
lower bb is sitting at .077 but it's turned down
$4.50 area... if it breaks that, the lower bb is around $3.72
Now that 4.80 is lost, where do you see support my friend? TIA
overall it's in a downtrend but looks like it's trying, with difficulty, to turn up.
Needs to hold $4.80 support, resistance around $5.20
Might want to check their news... might be having some internal problems:

" XNL " TIA
Let's see how a couple more run... ACTC (1.83 +1.43), BCLI (0.33 +0.02), CLBE (0.06 +0.01)
Looks like .015 for support but there is an open gap from .013
short term .025 is resistance
As previously disclosed, an involuntary petition under Chapter 7 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code"), styled In re: Vesta Insurance Group, Inc., Case No. 06-02517-TBB7, United States Bankruptcy Court -- Northern District of Alabama (the "Chapter 7 Petition"), was filed on July 18, 2006. VTAI, it looks like it's going to turn up. Can you tell me about the chart please.
50 ma - .163 - looks like good support with .21 being resistance.
agreed on the $10 pps holding up
That doji above the upper bb, a couple days ago, seems to be a very good sell indicator. Would be good if it can stay above $10. but I wouldn't count on it unless something fundamentally changes. Lower bb is down around 9.35 (which is still higher than the analyst price target of 9 - note below - don't know if it's changed since then). My guess is sideways to lower.
Had to go look at what caused the sell off...
Last June, Neurocrine (nasdaq: NBIX - news - people ) said Pfizer (nyse: PFE - news - people ) terminated their partnership for indiplon
decision to lay off its 200-person sales force is a disappointment
Samimy maintained a price target of $9 on Neurocrine and said indiplon could receive FDA approval in 2008

castle.....
I appreciate your chart knowledge my friend. Thanks...
NBIX ( I think it's turning up)
near the top bb band with lower volume... may consolidate a bit here.
castle... when ya get a chance....
"IDWD"
Bounced perfectly off the 50 ma at .53 (your .535 is looking good). If it stays at or above the 50 ma, which is in an uptrend, you are good to go. Also you have lots of room to the upper BB band. Keep a close eye on it... while some of the indicators turned up, not all of them did.
Look to the 50 ma for support... looks like resistance will be near a buck assuming no news. Good luck!
castle.....
CSHD, she's ready now IMO, what's your call? TIA
thanks I added .535 today
Can't really answer that... depends on a lot of things that might be happening at that time. I know I'm not even considering buying at this time. I do hope it bounces on the 50 - .52 - for those that are in.
