Ad1, I’ve put this exercise together to help answer the question, When Do I Sell? Many people have said, don't buy a stock unless you know how much your going to sell it for?
So, take a guess. Your guess is just as good as mine. Play like there's no wrong answer. Pick the price you think will be safe, you get your money back + a nice return on investment.
Take only a few minutes to guesstimate what price you will target just like you owned these stocks. Here's some of the stocks IIve been tracking for the last 3 years.
Lets see what happens. After you provide your answers, I'll give mine, so we can compare.
Let's have some fun,

Right On & You Should Be Happy!!!
If I were you, I'd be ectstatic and totally beside myself.
Truly, an excellent return on your investment.
Not bad for a years waiting.
You see patience does pay off.
I call that a Real Pay Day!
Great Job and well done.
I've got an idea which I've been working on this past week.
Would you like to participate in a 10 to 15 minute exercise that could help to create an exit strategy?
I was watching the macd charts very closely and as of the 2nd week of February they took a negative turn and haven't changed direction since. I may have jumped
ship a little soon but I am happy with returns from 400 to 500 %
to the up side. Stock is down .15 to .23 pps since my exit.
Have a great week upcoming and hopefully you found a new home.

Ad1,
I was wondering if you sold because I hadn't heard from you in a while. To be honest with you, I probably would of sold if I was in your shoes. I hope you made a good profit and sold at or near a dollar. Let me know, now I'm curious.
In the past, I've always sold too soon. Since I only own 50K shares I decided to wait for the next rally. I believe its on the rebound because it's still showing the hammer effect. I'm also watching and waiting for the big volumes to kick in. This should signal when the strong hands start selling. That will tell me its at or near the top.
My problem has always been getting too anxious and only making half the profit. I've done this enough times that I decided to wait this time even if I miss the boat.
Another thing I've done, I keep a few shares in a stock after selling it, just to keep a watch out during future rallies. Its been interesting because it gives me the same feeling that I want to sell. I don't, just to discipline myself and overcome that impulsiveness. This is part of those human behavioral issues I keep track of and talked about in my Journal Postings. I'm still learning to control these emotional dilemas when deciding to sell. IMO, we are all in the learning process on this one and not sure we ever really get it a 100% right?
Yes, I'd like to stay in touch. Its been fun playing The Lone Ranger and Tonto. No one else has decided to joint the site, so I figure its up to you and me to keep it going. Even after I sell, I will keep posting educational stuff from time to time. You know where to find me, so please say hello and keep me posted on what's going on.

A Living Fort Knox:
Artist's Impression to Entry of Vault
The seed vault will be built 120m (364ft) inside a mountain on Spitsbergen, one of four islands that make up Svalbard...Dr. Fowler said Svalbard, 1,000km (621 miles) north of mainland Norway, was chosen as the location for the vault because it was very remote and it also offered the level of stability required for the long-term project.
"We looked very far into the future. We looked at radiation levels inside the mountain, and we looked at the area's geological structure," he told BBC News.
"We also modelled climate change in a drastic form 200 years into future, which included the melting of ice sheets at the North and South Poles, and Greenland, to make sure that this site was above the resulting water level."
By building the vault deep inside the mountain, the surrounding permafrost would continue to provide natural refrigeration if the mechanical system failed, explained Dr. Fowler.

Amphibious Houses:
A floating alternative with a row of amphibious houses lines the waterfront at Maasbommel, panelled in blue, yellow and green. They have a hollow concrete cube at the base to give them buoyancy...A beautiful sight with growing popularity. The houses have attracted international attention... Officials from New Orleans, which was devastated by flooding in August 2005, have visited Maasbommel to see how the floating houses work.
At a starting price of 260,000 euros (£180,000 or $310,000), the houses are not a cheap option. But Mr Zevenbergen says demand is high.
"We are trying to develop new types of more sustainable buildings which have no adverse impacts on the environment," says Chris Zevenbergen of Dura Vermeer, the company which developed the floating houses.
Electricity and water are pumped in through flexible pipes. In all, the houses can withstand a rise in the water table of up to four metres (13ft).

Small and densely populated, the Netherlands is one of the countries most at risk from climate change and rising sea levels.
But in one village in the south of the country, they are trying out a new way of living with an increased risk of floods.
A small ferry shuttles back and forth from one bank of the River Maas to the other. This is the only way of reaching Maasbommel, in Gelderland province, from the south.
The landscape is saturated with water, criss-crossed by rivers and the network of dykes which are supposed to protect the area from flooding.
But the dykes are not always enough. In 1993 and again in 1995, floods forced tens of thousands of people to leave their homes.
Rising sea levels:
Now, with climate change, floods are likely to be more frequent and more severe.
Dutch scientists predict a rise in sea levels of up to 110cm (43 inches) by the year 2100.
At the same time, there is growing pressure on land. The Dutch government estimates 500,000 new homes will be needed in the next two decades.
Most of the land suitable for conventional building has already been snapped up. So Dutch housebuilders are experimenting with new solutions.

Geologic Timetable: Are The Poles Tilting?
THE SHIFT IS OCCURING NOW--Gregg Braden, Scientist
By: Wynn Free
Interview with Gregg Braden, author of: Awakening to Zero Point; The Isaiah Effect; The God Code; The Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles and Belief
There are many quantifiable scientific indicators proving that the Earth and the Solar System are going through changes which have never previously occurred in recorded human history. Many psychics and channelers say that we have entered the beginning of a dimensional shift which is already deeply affecting all of our lives. And some predict that within the next decade we will enter into an Ascension process fulfilling the prophecies of Jesus.
Gregg Braden is probably the most recognized person who is evaluating and revealing the scientific phenomena pointing to this shift. He became intrigued with all this when he was working for Phillips Petroleum in the late 1970s and noticed that the magnetics of the earth were at their lowest point in 2000 years and decreasing at a rapid rate.
Eventually, Braden wrote a book - Awakening to Zero Point - that documented this and other indicators of our rapidly changing planet.
Wynn: Is it true that the magnetic poles of the earth are in the process of shifting right now?
Gregg: In May-June-July of 2002, it was very well acknowledged and esteemed scientific journals actually were saying for the first time that we are in the process of a polar reversal.
Back in the 1960s, geologists were certain that the earth periodically went through a reversal. They could tell from core samples, ice samples, and fossils, as well as magnetized particles that were locked into certain positions in the rock of the earth. Geologists were so certain about this phenomenon that they actually mapped out the last four-and-a-half-million years, and the resulting records suggested that the earth has gone through fourteen of these polar reversals.
At that time, back in 1961 and 1962, scientists felt that the last pole reversal occurred at about the time of the last Ice Age, ten to twelve thousand years ago. And they were certain it would happen again, but not for thousands of years, so it was nothing to worry about.
But through the 1990s, geologists continued to refine this kind of information. They had been saying it took thousands of years for this to happen. Then they began to say, "Well, it can happen in hundreds of years." But now, recent evidence from some of the ice cores in Greenland and Antarctica say that it could happen in as little as a decade.
But now, we know that the poles are actually moving. We're living it right now. We don't know exactly what that means, because even though it's happened fourteen times in the last four and a half million years, it's never happened with six billion people on the earth.
Wynn: Are you saying that it's common knowledge?
Gregg: It's common knowledge to people that need to know these things. For example, FAA regulations say that when the poles move beyond five or eight degrees, the runways at the airports have to be renumbered to correlate with the magnetic headings that the pilots are seeing. The first airport in the United States to comply with this mandate was Minneapolis/St. Paul, where they spent something on the order of eighty-five thousand dollars to go through and renumber the runway headings.
But what happened in the May-June-July time frame of 2002 is that journals such as Nature, Science, Scientific American, and New Scientist released reports saying that we are definitely in the process of a magnetic reversal, and the AP wires picked it up.
Scientists have no idea what the impact is going to be to electronic and electromagnetic power grids. But even more, they don't know what it means to human immune systems. Alternative healing modalities have shown a connection between magnetics and the immune system, which also would imply that our immune systems could very well be keyed into the magnetic fields of the earth.
We know that birds and animals migrate along the lines of these magnetic fields. So there is speculation that the changes taking place in the magnetic field are responsible for the changing migratory patterns in birds that have been recorded in Asia and North America.
The change in the fields also may explain why whales are beaching themselves. The lines of navigation that the whales have always followed have shifted and now lead them onto a beach. When we take them back out into the water and set them free, they continue to align themselves with the same magnetic lines, and in following them, they end up on the beach again.
So, yes, it's common knowledge now. The most respected scientific journals say that we're in this shift. And even though we don't know precisely what that means, it's significant that it is being acknowledged in peer-review kinds of literature, and not just in speculative or pseudo-scientific magazines.
Wynn: When was this magnetic shift first acknowledged?
Gregg: It would have been in the June/July time frame of 2002. People were sending me emails that they had seen it, and giving me references. I also found references in the magazines myself.
Wynn: Would we survive a complete pole shift?
Gregg: Any answer to that question must of necessity lie within the realm of speculation, because in traditional recorded human history it's never happened. On the other hand, there are Native traditions and ancient Hebrew biblical traditions suggesting that a magnetic shift may have happened even more recently than the last Ice Age. That was 10,000 to 12,000 years ago, but these traditions suggest that the last shift may have happened as recently as 3,600 years ago.
Native legends speak of a day 3,600 years ago when the sun rose from the west as it had always done, hovered in the sky for more than a full day, and set in the east - but the next day, it rose in the east and set in the west, as it does today. Hebrew traditions speak of this event, also, saying that it happened during a battle. The ancient Hebrews took it as a sign that one side was receiving celestial assistance, because it stayed light long enough for the battle to complete in their favor.
We can't verify this in the rock or fossil records, because 3,600 years is too short a period of time for such an event to be reflected there. All we have to go by are traditions, legends, and myths preserved in oral and written documents.
What the trandition tells us, however, is that if something like this were to happen, the people of the earth would live through it. It would have to be a really strange day to live through, but if the ancient legends are true, it happened and the people apparently survived. However, we don't know how it affected their lives.
Wynn: Do you have any idea how this magnetic shift might change consciousness?
Gregg: The speculation is that there is a correlation between consciousness and magnetics. In order to understand how this connection might work, it is useful to compare it to a computor's memory. The magnetic fields in the memory are held in place through an electrical charge - a trickle charge - within the computer itself. When the batteries in the computer die, the charge is gone, and the memory is lost. We have to reload the operating system.
Similarly, by researchers and descendents of indigenous peoples believe that when the earth goes through what science sees as a magnetic reversal, it also will be a great shift and cleansing of the earth's consciousness. There will be nothing holding all the magnetic patterns that have been put in place. So when we awaken from this shift, what becomes consciousness will be our truest nature, our truest essence. And the memory of all of the evil or all the bad things or all of the grudges or the ego and we've held against one another as individuals and nations will not be part of that new consciousness, that new grid.
From that perspective, many traditions predict, sense, or speculate that we are nearing a time of what they call the Great Cleansing, and that this cleansing is happening at a level of core memory of consciousness.
Wynn: So is it possible to assume that in some way, our memory is connected to this magnetic field?
Gregg: I think so. I think that because of the strange accounts of the astronauts who left earth and went into space during the Apollo Program. In leaving the earth's atmosphere and circling the planet many miles above the surface, the affects of earth's magnetics were negligible. And the astronauts began to have experiences that they were not prepared or trained for, that were totally unanticipated.
When they were in space and looked back to earth, they began having insights and feelings, awakenings and awarenesses that they had never had when they were on the earth. It meant something different to each one of them.
In much the same way, friends of mine who went to Viet Nam were all changed when they came home. It changed everyone. For some, the change was so painful that they could never speak about it, and for others, the change was a catalyst in their lives and they spoke of it incessantly.
And I believe there was actually a PBS special that documented this same phenomenon with the astronauts, that they were never the same afterward. When they came back, there were some who didn't know what to do with their outer space experience. Some turned to drugs and alcohol. Others channeled the change that occurred within them in very positive, life-affirming projects.
One of this latter group was Dr. Edgar Mitchell, who founded the Noetic Sciences Organization in an effort to validate the phenomenon of human consciousness. Another astronaut undertook the search for Noah's Ark, and actually found it embedded in the ice on Mt. Ararat, right where the Bible said it would be.[1]
Wynn: So the implication here is that these astronauts, because they left the magnetic field of the earth, had some kind of spiritual awakening?
Gregg: They certainly went through a catharsis when they were no longer in the influence of the earth's magnetic field.
We also see something similar happening when we look at the magnetic fields of the earth. They are not constant over the surface of the earth, and contour maps, available through United States Geologic Survey, show the varying intensities of magnetic fields over the surface of the earth - where magnetic fields have a very high intensity and where the intensity if very low.
Those fields have shifted over time, and may actually account for why populations of humans have migrated to the places they've migrated to. They might have been following these magnetic contours.
What happens is that in the places where the magnetics are very low, where their effects are negligible, tremendous change and innovation appear to occur. Where the magnetics are traditionally high, those are the places of stagnation where changes, although they do happen, take a long time and change is very slow in coming.
If I were coming here from another world and didn't know anything about the people of the earth, and if I were looking for a place where the opportunity of change was the greatest, I would look for the zero contour lines. And if you look at a map of the magnetics on earth today, what you find is that there is a zero contour line that runs along the West Coast of North America - along the California coast and on up off the coast of Alaska. In other words, the magnetics along the West Coast are almost nil!
When we think of the West Coast, we think about wacky California. Well, the truth is California is a seed, one of several, and it's traditionally been very innovative in technology, science, fashion, finance, and the arts, because there is an opportunity for tremendous change there.
Within North American, the flip side of that would be an area of highest magnetics, where the magnetic fields are the most dense. And you find this down through some of the Southeastern states - the very states that are traditionally viewed as being conservative. This doesn't mean that change can't happen there. What is says, however, is that change takes a long time there, and people have to see a really good reason before they are going to budge from what they've always done.
Wynn: So where the magnetic field is less dense, people are more open to the moment?
Gregg: They're open to change, period. It doesn't mean that the change is good, bad, right, or wrong. It's important to be clear about this. The consciousness of the people will determine how that change comes about.
I'll give an ironic example. There is a zero contour line that runs right through the Middle East. It actually runs almost directly underneath the area we call the Suez Canal, right up into Israel, right along the coast of the Red Sea. Yes, right in that area is a zero contour line. This means that area is ripe for change. But again, how that change comes about - whether it's peaceful and constructive or angry and destructive - is determined by the consciousness of the people who live there.
Wynn: So it's not good or bad either way?
Gregg: Precisely. It simply is an opportunity for change. At the same time, the highest magnetic contour lines noted anywhere on the planet earth have traditionally been in portions of the former Soviet Union, Russia, and Siberia. We know that in that part of the world, there was a system that was in place, and while change came about, it was slow and painful, a long time coming, with a lot of suffering. But when that change happened, there was a cascade effect, and it happened almost overnight.
So the correlations are very interesting between human consciousness, the opportunities for innovation, change, doing things in a new way, and the magnetics of our world.
The Earth has many areas of high and low change.
Wynn: Our readers are going to want to know how they can best face the changes that are coming in our world as a whole.
Gregg: I'll be as concise as I can. I think that the answer to that is perhaps encapsulated best in the words of those who have come before us, the ancient Essenes, in a text that's more than 2,500 years old. It reminds us of our relationship to the world around us, and says simply that the world around us is nothing more and nothing less than a mirror of what we have become from within.
So when we see a world that appears angry, cruel, and thoughtless, that produces suffering for our brothers and sisters all over the world - from this perspective, that world is a mirror of what we have become as individuals, families, societies, and nations. It's not right, wrong, good or bad. It's simply a reflection of who we are. The condition of the planet is a feedback mechanism.
So if we want to see change in our world, we must become that change in our every day lives. If we want to see peace, tolerant understanding, compassion, and forgiveness at the global level, we must become that. At the dinner table. With our families. We must become that with our schools.
We must demand that we be entertained through peace, compassion, and understanding. It doesn't have to be dull and boring. It can still be very exciting, but it does not have to be ruthless, thoughtless, cruel, or heartless.
So in our daily lives, every moment of every day, we make a choice that either affirms or denies life in our bodies. Because we are linked through this grid. Our individual choices all pool into the collective answer to our future.
If we'd like to see a collective change, we must individually become that change.
Wynn: We have this date of 2012 that many people are saying is this time of global shift or Ascension. What do you think is going to happen?
Gregg The date 2012 is interesting because it comes up in Mayan traditions, Egyptian traditions, some of the Christian traditions, and even in the Bible Code - which is very controversial unto itself.
My sense is this date could be any date. If we focus on a date and live our lives preparing for a change on that date, we miss life. From my perspective, if we simply live each day of our lives to its fullest, we reconcile the experiences that cross our paths each day, we reconcile the opportunity to honor life, to honor our relationships with one another.
If we are honest, truthful, considerate, caring and compassionate, if we live this each day, we have already prepared for whatever could possibly come on 2012 or any other day, any other year, any time in our future.
I know people who are living their lives hoarding boxcars full of food and ammunition, preparing for the day when our world changes. I understand, and I think it's good to be self sufficient. I understand what they are saying. But also what I've seen is that so much of their lives is dedicated to preparing for that day, they've missed the beauty and the mystery of life that unfolds in every day. And it's in perceiving this beauty and mystery that we prepare for the greatest challenges!
Wynn: So basically, if one wants to approach this change with the maximum positive outcome for themselves, the key is to live each day with the maximum output of love, compassion, and caring?
Gregg: Yes, and to do this, we have to live each day consciously. Be aware of the opportunities. Recognize the opportunities that cross our paths. Every day, we're given the opportunity to be tolerant of another belief system, to forgive someone who has hurt or angered us, to reconcile our own judgments about what should or should not be in our world.
If we can reconcile these things as they cross our paths and consciously deal with them in the moment, then we know we're changing the chemistry of our bodies by changing the way we feel, and are thus preparing ourselves for whatever transitions the earth is going to go through.
If that makes sense.
Wynn: Yes, it does to me. Is there anything really important to close with for our readers that I might have missed?
Gregg: For the first time in our history, the fate of our species, our entire species, rests upon the choices of a single generation. And what we've just done is talked about what some of those choices are all about.

Alpasinche 3,500 hectares
Bolson de Paluqui 3,950 hectares
Huaco 3,000 hectares
La RiojaLa Rioja - West viewOverview
Recent analysis indicates that these properties—in the north, central and south part of the Sierra de Velasco mountain range—all possess radiometric anomalies. All three properties are adjacent to major paved roads, close to the provincial capital city of La Rioja.
Bolson de Paluqui is very near to a former uranium mine named Los Colorados, on a significant radiometric anomaly zone. Between 1992 and 1996, 55,000 kg of uranium concentrates were produced from sedimentary roll-fronts in this mine.
Geological Report
The Alpasinche and Huaco properties were identified and claimed based on exploration and geological field work performed by the Commission Nacional de Energia Atomica de Argentina (C.N.E.A.) in the 1970s, analysis of the historic workings at the Los Colorados mine, and additional surface radiometric analysis performed by Strategic Resources.
All three claim areas are hosted within a series of gently dipping continental sediments of the Carboniferous age Saladillo Formation which, together with redrocks of the Permian Patquía Formation, overlie Paleozoic granite which is the source of the uranium. Recently, the Commission Nacional de Energia Atomica de Argentina (C.N.E.A.) also claimed a property very close to the Huaco property, in the same geological area.

These four claims have been recently acquired from the Argentine Government. Strategic Resources plans to commence detailed radiometric ground traversing, sampling and mapping to ascertain how great the mining potential is. The claim areas all have excellent access, good support infrastructure for exploration and superior weather conditions for year-round work.
The historic uranium mines known as Don Michel, San Sebastian, La Represa, La Novedad, Falla IV, Teresita, Cristina, Doña Rosa and Adelf are all located within the claim areas.
Geological Report
The uranium mineralization is contained in the metamorphic rocks as copper-uranium in blue/green veinlets. Historic mining exploration and production works can be seen on the properties along the mineralized structures. The exploration guides are the sedimentary/metamorphic rocks of the Negro Peinado formation (Ordovicic)—these rocks are surrounded by granites from the Ñuñorco formation (Devonic).
The uranium minerals are uranofano and autunite, close to the surface, and pitchblende at depth. Previous reports indicate that mineralization is placed in lenses containing high grade (almost 10% uranium) at the core, and low grade in the outer part of the lenses (0.5%). The Company’s preliminary sampling of historic production and exploration works yielded values in the range of 1%.

Strategic Resources Acquires Interests in Uranium Properties in Argentina
BOULDER, Colo., Feb. 21, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Strategic Resources, Ltd. (OTCBB:SGCR) is pleased to announce that, on December 1, 2006, it acquired from Somuncurah SRL, an Argentine entity, a four-year option to purchase certain uranium exploration properties located in the province of La Rioja, Argentina. The properties consist of seven groups of uranium exploration properties covering an aggregate area of 29,950 hectares. The aggregate acquisition price is approximately $3.6 million, due and payable in stages through November 2010, with the reservation of a 1.5% net smelter return royalty interest to Somuncurah.
"We are excited about the prospects for exploration and development of these properties," said John Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Resources. "Certain of the benefits of this acquisition are that prior operators in the area already performed considerable exploration work, and that the infrastructure is appropriate for uranium exploration and development."
The properties are located in proximity to other exploration properties currently being explored by other companies or in proximity to properties previously claimed by the Argentine National Commission of Atomic Energy (C.N.E.A.).

Here's 3 Golden Crosses to Watch:
Ad1, If you find any more golden crosses, let's post em so we can track their progress. SGCR took off 3 weeks after the cross was formed.
Golden Cross:
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/g/goldencross.asp
A crossover involving a security's short-term moving average (such as 15-day moving average) breaking above its long-term moving average (such as 50-day moving average) or resistance level.
As long-term indicators carry more weight, the Golden Cross indicates a bull market on the horizon and is reinforced by high trading volumes. Additionally, the long-term moving average becomes the new support level in the rising market.
Technicians might see this cross as a sign that the market has turned in favor of the stock.

OT but not really.
There is something that has been bothering me-The Dow-the DJIA-it seems to be going up conveniently just before the mid-term elections in the US; yet many of its 30 components have been falling in price. Since our Unico stock price is so easily controlled, could it be that such a widely followed, at least by the general public on Network broadcasts, indicator of financial well-being, could it really be that it was being fiddled? Surely not! Next you will tell me that gas prices are being artificially kept down to benefit certain parties.
So I dug around and found the following: It was posted on geezerboomer.com (don't ask me how I got there, it just sort of happened as I was poking around the web.) For your enjoyment and renewed faith in the probity of our financial system.
Whoopie, a new 12,000 high for the Dow, and how nice for the Replicants. Could I rain on this parade? Oh, but of course.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) of 30 stocks is calculated by adding up the dollar closing prices of 30 “representative” stocks of our economy and then dividing by a divisor. I’ll slow down if I’m going too fast for some of you…
The DJIA Index is denoted in “points” not dollars. And the divisor has gotten adjusted over the years as stocks in the Index are subtracted and others are added, or stocks that are there split their shares. (Known in the biz as giving you two $5’s for a $10) You want an Index as popular as the Dow to have a certain consistency - that it will open somewhere near where it closed the night before.
Anyway, the current Dow Industrial Index divisor is currently 0.12493117. (And you thought you were nit-picky.) That means you can take a 30 stock Raw Score of about 1499 and divide that by the teeny divisor. Or take the raw score and mulitply by 8. Yeah, 1500 times 8…carry the 4…comes out to about 12k. (Nightly Business Report says, $1 of stock value is more than 7 points in the DJIA. Can you smell the “Never give a customer an even break” aroma?)
Well, since most, I mean more than HALF, of the Dow 30 stocks actually trading lower than they were back in March of 2000, I decided to do some research. Nobody was really explaining HOW parts of index could mostly be lower, and yet the Index itself was hitting new highs. And isn’t that nice for the Replicrooks.
In one of my old adult ed workbooks, I’d written down that as of June 5, 2000, the Dow’s divisor was 0.18238596. That means that the Dow’s March 2000 high of 11722 had a Raw Score of approximately 2137. I’ll skip the decimals and the slight mismatch on dates here. I want you to know though, that my Hewlett Packard 12C calculator did these calcs with batteries to spare. At the Dow’s high back in the spring of 2000, $1 of stock value equated to only about 5 and a half points on the Index.
Presto Reducto, our new high on the Dow has been caused by reducing the divisor…and the public snoozes on.
(And don’t even get me started on the drop in the purchasing power of the money invested in the Dow stocks - caused by the 30% dunk of the dollar in the last 6 years…)
On Planet Wall Street, figures may not lie, but we should bet much more often that liars can still figure, especially in an election year. Over 43% of the population DO figure that somehow the Bush Administration lowered the price of gasoline in the last 2 months. Why won’t the public consider the possibility that other scams are at work in our other markets?

Ad1, IRS UPDATE-REVISED:
2007 NOTES:
Journal Entry Update-This is a guideline taken from my Journal Notes. I update them from year to year to keep track of changes to the IRS Code. I gather information for my CPA to give him a heads up, since few people trade in the natural resource sector like we do. It payed off from last year because he sent me this update to the IRS Code for 2006. I make it a rule to go over this every tax season. Are there any changes for 2006? YES!
2-15-07 UPDATE:
(Do your own DD, Everyone’s tax bracket and individual situation is unique to themselves. Ask questions to your CPA, that way you know how this new info effects your individual circumstances. My moto is check, check, double check. That way you can sleep with peace of mind.)
CAPITAL GAINS & DIVIDEND RATES:
CPA confirmed: Lower capital gain and dividend tax rates had been scheduled to expire after 2008. They are now extended through the end of 2010. Capital gains and dividend income are taxed at a maximum rate of 15 % through 2010. For taxpayers in the 10% & 15% tax brackets, the tax rate is 5% through 2007 and zero from 2008 through 2010.
This information confirms the following article Tax Traps Can Snare Your Capital Gains published in U.S. News & World Report Posted Sunday, July 16, 2006

ETF’s - Don’t buy unless you plan on keeping more than one year.
Short Term Capital Gains Tax (less than a year) Now=35% Later=23%
Long Term Capital Gains Tax (over a year) Now=28% Later=23%
As noted, the difference in taxation between these two investment vehicles is rather large, especially in all transactions under a year in duration.
REMEMBER, by holding my core positions I put myself in a position to minimize my taxes and pay long-term capital gains when I do decide to take profits down the road.

AT TAX SEASON VERIFY TAX RATES!!! (Old News)
Silver Institute
(202) 835-0185
Congress and Senate are scheduled to vote on lowering gold & silver tax rates. Plan to change from being a collectable to a precious metals stock. Bill #HR-574 S-611. Should be a new tax rate for 2006?
Reminder Note: Determine what the new precious metal stock tax rate will be for 2006. Sounds like there's a change coming. “For those of you concerned that the unequal tax treatment of your gold holdings, and judging by my email there are a lot of you, J. Kent Willis has reported that "Joint legislation from Nevada Senators Reid and Ensign aka 'Fair Treatment for Precious Metals Act' passed the US Senate in 2004 with a vote of 92-5. The House has not approved it yet, but will soon." The bill will treat gold bullion investments as it does other equities, with short and long term tax rates of 20% and15%, instead of continuing to treat gold as a collectible, and thus taxable at the 28% rate”.
WHAT'S A 710?
Yesterday, I was having some work done on my car at the dealership. A blonde came in and I overheard her asking the service manager for a seven-hundred-ten.
He was confused so he called over a mechanic and asked him, "What's a seven-hundred-ten?" Neither knew, so they asked her to give them a few more details.
She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine. I lost it and need a new one. It's always been there and I want it replaced."
The mechanic gave the blonde lady a piece of paper and a pen, then asked her to draw what the piece looked like.
She drew a circle and in the middle of the circle it had the numbers 710. Still not sure, they took her over to another car which had the hood up and asked her again, "Is there a 710 on this car" ?
She pointed and said, "Of course, it's right there."

LOCK BUMPING:
Watch this video clip from Channel 5 News. It discusses lock & key bumping which I'd never heard of until today. This is no joke. With a bump key you can open 90% of the key locks made in less than 10 seconds & a young kid can be taught to "bump" a lock in less than one minute.
The locksmith in the clip is right, you can't put a price on your family's personal safety! When you see it, you won't believe it. Apparently this method of breaking into houses has been around for several years & insurance companies may not pay off if your house is burgled because there's no evidence of a break in. There's no lock damage & your doors & windows are still locked.
This is a 3 minute video which explains the process. Watch in disbelief:
MACD, Aroon8, FastSto, CCI8, Wm%R14 & PPO are all bottoming out.

I just love this chart, so much to watch!
Level II is the best indicator of who is selling and who is buying. Look at the last trade, it gives the time and the size of each trade. Just don't get caught in the emotion of the trade. The market makers thrive on the emotions of the inexperienced trader to make a mistake by buying again during a rally. Then your stuck with a high cost basis and may need to average down at a later date, if the stock drops drastically. We've all done it, just be aware, it's another human behavioral issue to learn about yourself. We all have to monitor this because its human behavior. There are entire books relating to "How to Remove the Emotions from Trading". Bill Panetta is really good with his bottom busters reports to help traders determine which stocks are about to rebound. There is a lot of good information on Panetta's message board. Other traders have done spin offs from his board to help explain and expand his base of learning. I like Panetta because he's a charting guy and so am I.
Thanks much, looking forward to a great day.
Which indicator is best to look at for movement of bid/ask?
I noticed they were both bouncing up and down this morning
on sgcr.
THE BASICS of PORTFOLIO BUILDING:
After completing your due diligence on a company you’ve just bought. Your jazzed and ready to watch your stock take off. You should know that some will rise, some will fall and some will become duds. None of them will hold the same equilibrium. In fact they will all be different. They will each have a different personality just like your kids. The best way to learn their personality is to study the charts. Charts give the best insight about your stocks personality. Watch and wait. Patience, Patience, Patience. That may be your best and most valuable lesson.
Some stocks you may hold for over a year before they do anything. Others will bounce and rally immediately. Think about when you are going to sell early on, while doing your due diligence, ask yourself, how long do I want to keep this stock? You might even consider not buying the stock until you know how long you want to be invested? Don’t expect all your stocks to go up and down at the same time. If there is a market correction, the stocks may remain down for a year to 18 months. The market does what the market does. If you have beginners luck, don’t get a big head thinking your God’s gift at picking stocks. Keep a level head and do not invest more money than you can afford to lose. Watch out and don't get overextended. If you can’t sleep at night, then most likely you’ve bitten off more than you can chew. Then, what are you going to do to reduce your risk. Maybe you have to sell? Some people sell at a loss and think nothing of it. Other’s say never sell at a loss, no matter what. It’s your decision.
Figure out your tax bracket and decide whether you need to hold for short or long-term capital gains. That's another way to decide when to sell. If a stock goes up right after you buy it, are you going to sell it? or Are you going to keep it? You have to decide, can I do better by waiting or should I sell and take the profit now?
Make a plan and don’t miss a trade just because you didn’t know what to do. Do enough DD to know what your options are. Draft several scenarios so you feel confident with your decisions. It's difficult to decide on the day of the trade. Why, because the brain may experience sensory overload. Having to make a decision that involves money really turns the pressure valve up. I certainly don't want to make a bad decision and lose money. Many people experience nervousness like they have never experienced before. Some hit a wall just like a marathon runner who “hits the wall” at 25 miles into the race with only one mile to the finish line. For some when they hit the wall, they will never see the finish line, at least not that day.
If you want to know more about why this happens, there is a book you can read to understand why we have what I call brain freeze. Read, Change your Brain Change Your Life by Dr. Amen. Here’s the expert’s viewpoint:
Change Your Brain, Change Your Life: The Breakthrough Program for Conquering Anxiety, Depression, Obsessiveness, Anger, and Impulsiveness.
Basically, from a layman’s viewpoint, there is a natural chemical reaction that when released in the body over stimulates the brain. In highly stressful situations, there is a fight or flight sensation that occurs. The body and the brain have trouble going in the same direction at the same time. In simple terms the body and mind overloads the memory and judgements centers of the brain. Call it a log jam, brain freeze or sensory overload. At that moment one becomes physically and mentally impaired. Some people experience this when they take exams. Dr. Amen has all the technical jargon to explain what occurs.
What’s this got to do with stock trading? I'm just giving you a heads up since I've talked some other traders who have already had this experience. If you get involved in a fast trade, watch yourself and see how well you perform under pressure. You may handle the situation just fine. It's something good to know about because our human behavior acts differently when there is money at stake.
