maybe we could start with 75pct. the concessions are not for 100 pct.
Just woundering Any Dillution going on here??
I believe rocky is right
Anyone answer my question?
How does sp translate using the 10-30K motto. Do we need to adjust based on the 50% tax rate and anything else?
Or do we simply use the 10-30K x acres / # shares?
Think the timing is pretty close 2013, think we may be breaking ground then?? All depends who we hook up with... GO WL/MMTE
Lithium demand on the rise
Brian Truscott | January 30, 2011
The U.S. decision last month to launch a Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Export initiative should turn out to be yet another boon for lithium producers, who are or will be trying to sell into a growing lithium ion battery market for technological and electric car uses.
The initiative complements a like-minded Electric Drive Vehicle Battery and Component Manufacturing initiative in 2009. All of this amounts to a fair bit of government-led oomph for politically-correct “green” research and development.
“Expanding U.S. clean technology exports is a critical step to ensuring America’s economic competitiveness in the years ahead,” said U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu, according to Lithium Investing News.
All of this comes at a time when a number of countries are targeting some of the more rarified metals, such as lithium. The South Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy said it will nearly double its production of lithium and rare earth minerals next year as global demand for the raw materials is expected to increase, according to Lithium Investing News.
These kinds of developments have a definite trickle-down effect on companies operating within the global sector. In November, for example, a Korean government-owned mining company, Korea Resource and Lithium One formalized a joint venture to develop Lithium One’s Sal de Vida lithium brine project in Argentina. The KORES wants to be a top-20 global mining company by 2020 through overseas expansion.
In Canada, Canadian Lithium plans to start full production at its Quebec lithium project in 2013, following the release of a positive feasibility study. U.S.-based Blackrock, the mega-fund manager, recently gave the soon-to-be lithium producer $10 million to pay for mine and plant equipment.
In Australia, Orocobre got the environmental go-ahead from the Argentine government to move forward with its Salar de Olaroz project. Investors have welcomed the news by pushing the company shares up by more than 25% over the last month or so.
All of this plays into the end-user market – the companies that make the lithium ion batteries for electric cars. Interest appears to be growing exponentially, meaning there should be a profitable meeting of minds across the supply-demand chasm. Basically, if you mine it, they will come.
Here are a few recent examples of how the market is developing: Toyota recently said it’s planning to start mass-producing lithium ion batteries for its plug-in hybrid vehicles, the Nikkei business daily reported.
Panasonic will begin mass production of lithium ion batteries for electric vehicles as early as April. It intends to market them to automakers at home and abroad, in addition to supplying the batteries to U.S. partner Tesla Motors, the paper said.
And Hitachi, which already supplies batteries for General Motors hybrids, will start mass producing high-performance lithium ion batteries for plug-in hybrids in 2013, the business daily said.
No, just don't let the pinkies get to you. Besides 30m ain't that much to get worried about.
Another 15 million sold today. Thought you sold and moved on. That's the word on the street , mmte
We will get a chance to work on those 5's on Tuesday.....still a nice ask slapping day!
GO MMTE!!!
Here's why I am an MMTE long-first, we know we have at least 24,000 acres and hopefully close to 30,000 by now. We have Maurice Colson and many close Chilean political connections which puts us far ahead of the ordinary start-up lithium company in Chile. Acquiring these concessions and political connections is what has drawn this stock out for so long. Even if you calculate our concessions at $10,000 per acre, do the math. Some say we have no revenue-no, because we are not mining and are spending money on concessions. WL has almost all his money in MMTE. If you had been acquiring gold for the last 5 years, you could also say you had no revenue but you sure would be worth alot of money with that much gold today. Same with lithium. The PPS has suffered because of the lengthy time involved in putting all this together but once it happens, it will blow by this price like a rocket. So I will stay and add till that happens. IMO Junebug
Slap that ask a bit for a green close....GO MMTE!!!
after noon fronk checked last weekend and again today not seeing anything new in there what am i missing?
tia
I am sure you can find exceptions to the rule if you look for them. I agree, with pennies, they are few and far between but an R/S can happen for good reasons; most of the time they are for the wrong reason.
R/S will not happen here IMO.
If it does, I do not believe WL had any intentions to do so (this is just my opinion and based on the amount of shares i see entering the float.)
Do you think he wants to R/S his 1 billion shares?
If it were to happen, I believe you would see a hell of a lot more shares hitting than what you do. And the share structure would be changing drastically for no reason. I believe th share structure that has changed is primarily because of the lawsuit. I just don't see an R/S and I have seen lots of these R/S before.
Rocky, are you suggesting I dump my 30M shares?
Ned if you don't have time to analyze and perform DD on a PS, then invest elsewhere is my advice LOL Pinkies are for crazy people like me.
Looking forward to NEW major events and your posting! Thanks for the update, the noise here is deafening.
Well, I for one appreciate your input along with many others, I get almost all info about MMTE from this list as I have a life and don't have the time or energy to do my own DD. As much as I do not particularly trust WL, it is still possible for him to increase shareholder value to, 'a great degree'. Time will tell.
WL dropped the ball on that one. Yet people still trust "texts" they get from him, LOL.
Guy seems shady, doesn't he?
Check out that chart!
Only one way I can see ... Hopefully not but
Now thats thinking outside the box...LOL GO MMTE
He would not be liable at all. He can do what he wants. Especially when audit firm recommends it. Then he's technically off the hook
mayhem did you look at the Q that was just releast? Or IFs MMTE forum? Look around and I think you will change your tune...IMO
Key words as long as price does not come down, THEY ALL DO,
Where are you getting that number from, better read again, way lower bud. The price of the PPS at the time of the LS, Way lower.
You and your buddie have no clue, why were down, the longs do...LOL
MMTE is full of surprises...
maybe one day it will be a positive surprise - it should.
Manipulation, heres something else you dont know or want to hear about. HUMMMMM Dig man Dig.
you are implying that MMTE will be incorporated by one of these big guys operating in Chile.
could be. I hope you are right.
That calmed my nerves a little rocky thanks go mmte!!
So now MMTE will only get 50% of 75%....or 75% of 50% LOLOL MAYBE THAT IS WHY WE KEEP GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO NO BID!!! LOL
Thanks Rocky. Hope you're correct.
To worry about a RS at this point makes as much sense as worrying about being hit by a falling meteor. WL has retired old stock structure before so it's not new to him. A merger with another corp (which is more likely ) will change the SS. There is also a RM model that simply abandons the old corporate SS. In short there are many ways to deal with SS.
Besides that, WL has publically stated both verbally and in text "no RS", and so would be lible in a situation in a RS wqhere we lost money.
This silly extrapolation has no foundation in business mechanics.
The actual consessions belong to a Chilean company, CLIL. The uplist of MMTE will 90% likely be through a merger with a corporation not subject to a CLOE. Additionally the 57% is targeted at non-chilean companies.
no longer possible June. because of the 50pct law we are now talking about 5,000 to 15,000/acre.
Hope for the best value but plan for the worst value. That way, if you're surprised, it'll be a good surprise.
You may as well hope for the the higher end. Hey, maybe MMTE's land has more concentrated lithium than anywhere else in Chile. Since no one is going to know until someone puts an offer in, why not shoot for > 30K.
Not quite.
Before an R/s:
- you have 1,000,000 shares @.0004 = $400
After a (1 for 1000) R/S:
- You now have 1000 shares @.40 = $400
If someone buys after the R/s @.40 they will have the same value as the shareholders before the R/S.
Now, much of the time after an R/S happens, if there is no real value in the company, the sp will quickly decrease in value from say .40.
So if there is an R/S as long as the price does not come down after the R/S, there is no difference.
Would be nice but I seriously doubt it will be the same. It has been stated many times the large AS was a condition of the acquiring the land concessions. Not sure how it will be managed as things move forward.
malamutus, I don't know the answer to your questions but it has always been an issue with me the spread in the value of our concessions. I mean $10,000-$30,000? Maybe if they said $20,000-$25,000 per acre that would sound logical. Why the big spread? I realize some areas may be more lithium-rich than others but wow, what a difference. Think I'll pull for the $30,000 per acre figure. IMO Junebug
It will be no different if you are holding now or after...They have to R/S it 15 Billion A/S Thats insane
So you believe there maybe an RS and there will be better stock value? The better value for be for the ones who buy after an RS and us long bag holders will be wiped out.
I will start with this and then we can go from here:
1 acre in Chile supposedly worth $10K - $30K per acre.
Question for anyone who wants to just use these values to try and figure what MMTE is worth:
If a company were to just purchase the land, would they not want to take into account the 50% taxes that the government is going to take?
Or how about the expenses in getting the lithium out of the ground?
I am just asking this, I have no idea how one would calculate the true value of MMTE as it relates to the SP.
Is there anyone on this board who truly understands how you would calculate what the sp could potentially be here? (ie - do you have to take 50% from the 10 - 30k value of the land right away due to taxes; and is there anything else you need to take into account here?) And of course I know that until something is done to show how much lithium is actually in MMTE's land, you will never be able to give what MMTE is worth, you will need to use this 10-30k as a baseline. What I am looking at is an objective look at what it might be worth if the land is actually worth 10 - 30 k an acre.
Is there anyone on this board even capable of doing an objective study that I am suggesting??
I agree with both you and Matt, how WL handled the loan and subsequent lawsuit situation was indicative of his past poor decision making skills. This has always been my problem, meaning having any confidence in WL as a leader, it just always seems to be some shady deal. I truly wish that WL would shape up and do the right thing for a change.
If there is one thing that stands out as to why the pps is so unrealistically low is that investors know about WL's past performance and are extremely hesitant to get involved.
From this last conversation I do not expect our next pr from the company for another four to five weeks, hopefully sooner if lucky. Until the audit company makes it.s findings, I would not rulle out their recommending possibly a RS as a result of the stock being beatin down so much. As I have said before, either way the company pursues, I believe in due time we will see a better stock value down the road. This was never meant to be a quick rich play. IMO
yes the " frivolious lawsuit "appears not to have been so unfrivalious....hense why william never released the settle ment details,,,,sure took alote the wind outa my sails for believing in him with good faith ....also we are going on 4 months sence the "up and comming " investors forum meeting " no word as of yet maybe september? how about it mmte managment
Well, MMTE needs to REPORT something to help its VALUE because RIGHT NOW its VALUE may drop to .0003 AND LOWER!!!! LOLOL
KEEP ON KEEPING ON MMTE AND YOU WILL BE AT NO BID SOOOOON ! ALL MY OWN OPINION OF COURSE
Yet you have no problem claiming there will be a reverse split or that the price determines value which of course is your speculation which you seem to believe is correct.
I am waiting for your speculation as to the value of the concessions. You say the share structure is terrible but apparently you don't understand the difference between Outstanding Shares and Authorized shares or why there was an increase in A/S or what affect dilution has on value.
I along with others here are waiting for something concrete from you other than speculation which you pass on as fact. Trying to understand why you are here with such negative speculations on your part?
So you want ppl to believe mmte is worth, let's just say .01 but yet it never gets out of triple zero's. How is that value to someone that invested in mmte. You can put est on concessions if you want but until actual samples are take from mmte titled lands it just your est. the fact is mmte share structure is horrible. Surely you are in this to turn a profit right so don't be burnt about other making a profit! I just take it in pieces unlike you that thinks this is the next apple! If I makes you feel better paint it at close. Good luck to you
This is redicilous I hope 0.0003 is the bottom!!! Come on Liebs update us!!!

Medical product development and commercialization. The Company recently acquired five generic oncology drugs approved and manufactured in Germany and they plan to gain approval for these drugs in the US in 2023. The Company is preparing for a pivotal Phase 3 study of an anti-cancer antibody product that is highly similar to Genentech/Roche's brand name Avastin (bevacizumab), the Company has licensed a needle-free jet injector for drug delivery, and the Company is in the pre-clinical stages of development of a gene therapy product candidate based on the delivery of a human alpha-Klotho gene and protein to prevent and/or treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS). Other product candidates will stem from these platform technologies of pharmaceuticals, biologics, and gene therapy.
The Company's medical R&D facilities are in the U.S. (near the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska) and in Barcelona, Spain (Autonomous Universitat de Barcelona). Each R&D facility is comprised of over 4,000 sq ft of R&D and office space, currently leased and equipped with research equipment, incubators, tissue culture facilities for production of plasmid DNA, HEPA-filtered hoods for aseptic handling, and testing equipment (PCR, spectrophotometers, microscopes, etc). The generic oncology drugs are manufactured in Germany. With future funding, the Company plans to acquire or build a GMP manufacturing facility to supply novel plasmid DNA ("transgenes") to be used in gene therapy programs, to provide contract manufacturing revenue, and for commercial product manufacturing.
