Re; GTN - Fib Matrix
In case GTN would retrace (very highly per prior discussion - see thread), this is the Fib matrix i was referring earlier, which I would feel comfortable using to measure the depth of retracement, extent of retracement, and hence the bullish character of the rally that defined it.
note how each of the Fib grid's 23.6% fib level overlap, indicating to a very strong support at this level, were the price to retrace. If this level fails, I would use the wider Fib grid for furthermore reference levels regarding the next level of support.
I understand that this is controversial and not at all a credible subject matter for most, but I heavily rely on it for any timeframe. The reliability and reproducibility is uncanny.
Let me know whether this helps in this or any other case - A retrospective use of this channel serves to verify how reliable it really is:
Thank you.

Re: GTN
Hi, Waycokid! - Thank you.
At this point, it seems that GTN has reached a technical point where it is most likely to retrace.
Although I modified the attributes of the original lines used to construct the channel (increased thickness at extremes; projected an additional down-trendline for the extreme upper border of the down-channel), the chart is still intact in terms of the speculative price channels.
The recent close at the channel corresponds to the upper border of the speculative down-channel. Additionally, the closed occurred at the mid-line of the up-channel. And finally, secondary indicators are taut to the "overbought" limits.
OVERALL: all this lines up for greater probability for a retracement.
At the extremes of RSI, I would consider tracing two overlapping Fib grids (one at the extreme high/low, and a second at the clustering areas of highs and lows. This would help construct a Fib matrix where Fib lines that overlap would point towards the most probable areas of support.
Best of luck my friend!

scon really really LOOKS GOOOD
Re: Seems Like The MM Intent Here 1-May-09 12:17 pm
Indeed! At some point - hopefully soon - SP will be driven by an earnings multiple discounted for future growth expectations. Only 20 million shares issued: Annual earnings of $20MM is certainly within the near-term realm for these guys. That's $1 a share at, say, a 40X multiple ... = $40/share. Add to that a very small float and huge upside, IMO, and we're looking at some pretty serious money to be made here!
SCON LOOK HOW STRONG
If this is not a bullish chart I do not know what is

Thanks again for the GTN chart Dalcindo.
Amazing how it's playing your trend lines to a tee.
Any recommendations for where PPS is heading if it moves above current range, looking for an exit next week.
Enjoy the weekend,
Waycokid
Re: GTN - Closed right on target!
Hi, WaycoKid!
If you are still in this one, you'll notice how GTN closed precisely at the up-border of the speculative up-trend channel I had drawn at your request (See entry: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=37417300 )
Price broke through resistance, volumed increased and closed reached the upper border of the channel. I am glad TA worked so well on this one.
Hope GTN brought you some bonbon or other sweet returns.
Have a great week-end.

HUGE ALERT PAYD broke above 200 dma .23 now
This is HUGE NEWS FOR MMRF vote of confidence
MMR Information Systems, Inc. Announces Restructuring of Credit Facility With The RHL Group, Inc.
LOS ANGELES, April 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MMR Information Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MMRF), which through its wholly-owned operating subsidiary, MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (collectively, "MMR") provides consumer-controlled Personal Health Records ("PHRs") (www.mymedicalrecords.com) and electronic safe deposit box storage solutions (www.myesafedepositbox.com), today announced that MMR and The RHL Group, Inc., a corporation wholly owned by Robert H. Lorsch, the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of MMR and a significant stockholder of the company, agreed to restructure MMR's current credit facility with The RHL Group, Inc. Details will be provided in a filing to be made with the SEC on Monday, May 4, 2009.
"This restructuring is a reaffirmation of my commitment and belief in the future of this company," Mr. Lorsch stated. "It is clear that health IT and particularly personal health records are going to be as mainstream as a personal credit report. Everyone should have one and most will ultimately get one. Being in the right place at the right time is key to every corporate success story. In three of MMR's markets -- the United States, Canada and Japan -- over 50 billion dollars of governmental incentives have been dedicated to information technology, a significant portion of which includes health IT related to electronic medical records and personal health records. Given that our www.mymedicalrecords.com site is available in Spanish, MMR is also positioned to launch in Mexico where there is a critical need for electronic personal health records. And now, with the world on the edge of a pandemic, the importance of a personal health record and an ESafeDepositBox could not be clearer."
MMR also announced that Mr. Lorsch has agreed to exercise all of his 2,464,816 outstanding options no later than May 1, 2009. According to Mr. Lorsch, "Exercising all of my stock options helps the financial position of the company while providing me with favorable tax treatment for any subsequent appreciation." Mr. Lorsch noted that the shares of common stock that he receives upon exercise of the options will be restricted securities and that he has no current intention to sell them.

UPDATE 1-Chemtura gets final OK for $400 mln DIP loan
Wed Apr 29, 2009 3:58pm EDT
By Phil Wahba
NEW YORK, April 29 (Reuters) - Bankrupt chemicals and plastics maker Chemtura Corp (CEMJQ.PK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Wednesday that a federal bankruptcy court granted final approval for a $400 million "debtor-in-possession" loan arranged by Citibank N.A. (C.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz).
In March, Connecticut-based Chemtura had won the right to interim access to $190 million of the loan to finance its operations, pending final approval.
A DIP loan allows a bankrupt company to fund its operations during its reorganization and is considered relatively safe because such financing gets reimbursement priority.
In a statement, Chemtura said the loan would help it continue funding employee wages and benefits, pay suppliers and finance its day-to-day operations.
"We believe that the final DIP approval provides the company with the financial flexibility necessary to continue running our operations as normal through the remainder of the restructuring process," Chemtura Chief Executive Craig Rogerson said in the statement.
Chemtura, which makes specialty chemicals, crop protection products and pool products, also said it won the right to send money as needed to its foreign affiliates, which were not included in the U.S. parent's Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection filing in March.
Chemtura's U.S. operations, which included 26 affiliates, filed for bankruptcy protection because of a significant decrease in liquidity caused by sharp declines in order volumes.
Chemtura listed assets of $3.06 billion and debts of $2.6 billion as of Dec. 31, 2008, according to documents filed in March in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan, and had sales of $3.5 billion in 2008.
The company has taken various steps to control costs such as suspending its dividend, cutting jobs and slashing payrolls.
