Some quotes and Level 2 services aren't working,
EtradePRO works fine from what i can tell
TDA is on and off here and there.
Equity Feed is almost not working at all.
Ihub is having some trouble as well.
I believe there is a problem with the automatic servers for OTC/Pinks specifically, cause big board stocks seem to be trading fine. but my OTC/Pinks watchlist shows 50% of my tickers with zero volume/no trades.
i recommend checking otcmarkets.com (aka pinksheets.com), it shows total trades for all OTC stocks, good way to check progress.
just, in case you needed to know.

CGAQ: Small Online Gambling Stocks Starting to Run (ELRA, ATIG, CGAQ)
Last Updated: March 22, 2011 - 12:44pm EST
(NEW YORK)--With new bills to legalize, and tax online gambling now in the US Congress, and a number of state chambers, investors may want to look at the small cap online gaming sector as a potential way to play this news.
Based on the charts of the stocks listed below the run into these pending votes may have just begun.
Elray Resources (OTC:ELRA), now operating under the Elray Gaming name, operates online gaming platforms on the international stage. The Company recently conducted a reverse merger and has been in strict compliance with current US gaming laws, thus should be well positioned if any bills pass to legalize online gambling in the United States. www.elraygaming.com
ELRA's stock was last traded at around $0.025 per share, and is currently attempting to break through its 200-day moving average. (see chart)
Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corp. (PINK: CGAQ) s the owner and operator of the Sosua Bay Grand Casino, Afterone Disco, the Luperon Bay and Galactica Disco. The corporation is focused on becoming a leader in the Caribbean for gaming and entertainment, including live betting from cameras located above tables within the Sosua Bay Grand Casino.
CGAQ's stock was last traded at around $0.013 per share, and just broke through its 50-day moving average. (see chart)
ATLANTIS INTERNET GR (PINK: ATIG) is currently in negotiations with Tribes from coast to coast who are seeking to take advantage of the UIGEA exemption for Internet Gaming on Indian Lands. With its headquarters located in Las Vegas, ATIG is also strategically located to supply the ever changing gaming market with server based technologies in both the Commercial and the Indian Casino markets.
ATIG's stock was last traded at around $0.0011 per share, and is currently breaking through its 50-day moving average as well. (see chart)
Federal Vote by Late April
A bipartisan bill now under way in Congress would allow Internet poker, blackjack and other games based outside the US, now illegal in the states, to open shops in the US and pay taxes. The bill proposal, sponsored by Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass) and Rep. John Campbell (R-Calif.), with Senate support by Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.), is due in April, said analyst Roger Gros, publisher of Global Gaming Business.
State Bills in Legislation Currently
There are a number of states currently considering the legalization of online gaming, and these states include Iowa (SSB 1165), Florida (SB812 - Internet Poker), California (SB40 - Internet Poker and SB 45 - Internet Gambling), Nevada (AB 258), and New Jersey (S490). With states struggling for increased tax revenues to off-set state budget deficits, the prospects of online gambling becoming legal has never been more of a real possibility.
As these current bills to legalize online gaming come to votes in the coming months it would be expected to see these stocks to continue to climb as investors 'place their bets' on these pending legislations. Due to the low amount of publicly traded small cap plays, online gaming stocks like ELRA, CGAQ, and ATIG may be well positioned to garner even more retail interest going into the spring legislation process.

CGAQ about to make a big move my stockdot friends

We have friends who lived there, not as close to the reactor though. This will be the worst disaster of 2011, and perhaps years to come. It's far reaching effects have hurt many here quite deeply, and we do not yet know the full extent of the damage. If you have suffered loss, my thoughts be with you Hermso.
for the people who care, japanese family lived 12 miles from reactor thats about to blow up. house is mudpile.
desperate times for many people. please give generously to those hurting.
i personally had a serious connection to the tragedy in japan. several of my friends are missing, though thankfully my real family is ok. their house though, is part of that mud pile you see on tv as it was directly hit by the tsunami. really, terrible stuff. figured some of you would care to know, and hope some others affected are strengthened by the public show of solidarity. if you have been affected by the earthquakes or tsunamis, please feel free to PM me or contact me via any of my publicly available contact channels at any time as i will gladly be there to help you in any way i can. i do have people on the ground in sendai with mobile phone and have several links to networks of people searching for the missing.
japan is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been to. though ive been lucky enough to travel throughout the atlantic and the mediterranean, there is something very special and incredibly beautiful about the pacific.
hermso i missed out on brav but i have seen it has come way down , do you think this is still a good play at these new levels thanks
i surely hope all is well with your family hermso at this troubling time in japan, all best wishes for health and safety to you and your family my amigo

CNUV news guys: China Nuvo Solar Announces Plans to Acquire Lithium Ion Battery Manufacturer Freya Energy Inc.
China Nuvo Solar Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: CNUV) today announced plans to acquire lithium ion battery company Freya Energy Inc. (“Freya”). The parties have executed a non-binding Letter of Intent (“LOI”) and are moving toward the signing of a definitive agreement over the next sixty days. Pursuant to the terms of the LOI, China Nuvo Solar would acquire one hundred percent of the outstanding common stock of Freya. Further details of the agreement will be released in the near future. The Company will continue to trade under the stock ticker “CNUV” with Freya becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of the alternative energy parent.
Industry experts forecast the lithium battery market to triple from current levels of $11-13 billion to over $40 billion by 2015-2020. Historically, the lithium ion battery market has been principally 90% consumer related, however newer diversified applications including non-automotive vehicle propulsion, defense applications, and electrical storage systems ("ESS") are expected to be the new growth drivers.
"This potential acquisition of Freya Energy is the first in the series of planned steps in executing our business model and becoming a meaningful player within the renewable energy space. We believe Freya is an exciting opportunity for the Company and is part of our roll-up strategy to increase shareholder value. Freya is on the cusp of commercialization in a fast growing segment of the renewable energy sector that we believe offers unique advantages over similar technologies," stated Henry Fong, CEO of China Nuvo Solar Energy.
"This transaction is a logical next step in our commercialization efforts that we believe offers Freya the accessibility to the capital markets thereby allowing us to accelerate our path to market entry," commented Richard Fox, CEO of Freya.
Closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions including, among other things, the negotiation and execution of definitive agreements as well as the approval of both companies' boards of directors and any necessary stockholder or regulatory approval.
About Freya Energy
Freya is a producer of safe large format lithium ion cells and batteries for demanding applications. Freya believes its proprietary separator provides greater safety than competitive products and provides a higher energy density than others on the market.
Freya's technology is protected by patent filings, ready for manufacture and requires no additional research and development. Freya has developed a commercialization plan for rapid market entry. Its personal relationships with known and established customers, positions the company for timely sales in the United States and Europe. Subject to initial funding and satisfactory prototypes, Freya has several million dollars in letters of intent that can be converted to purchase orders.
Freya has an experienced management and technical team led by well-respected innovators in battery technology.
About China Nuvo Solar Energy
China Nuvo Solar Energy, Inc. is a development stage company that owns unique patent pending solar and photovoltaic related technology. The Company's business model includes a roll-up strategy of clean energy companies and intellectual property within the renewable energy sector.

Thanks Hermso that makes sense. I was hoping to free up funds for more cnuv anyway. But I'm also watching the ones listed in the stickies too. Been doing some homework. As soon as some of my other stocks are sellable I want to have something ready to move funds into.
always trying to make it even better.
new pick wont come out until cnuv goes past couple pennies, might end up blowing out the waters and freaking everyone out for a while so we can just enjoy the fun,
a r/m is explosive cause a company is just, in an instant, becoming several times more valuable.
Glad you guys left the trail for me to find this board. :o)
Thanks Hermso, very interested in your pick tomorrow.
If its anything like CNUV, I am all over it!
CNUV has to R/M and post some profits first -
CNUV looks like it should have a very nice rise in a week or so, BRAV also, but not sure how high that one will go.
CNUV on high alert, CMSI on the move, BRAV is getting close
Cant wait. Thanks
Thanks. Just trying to get an idea of the price. Much Appreciated.
hahaha, good question. but this one stays secret until i come out with it. sooon.
cnuv several pennies easy, i wanna say .05, but then it hits much more and i look silly. they seem to be going for the gold. multiple deals, etc.
What is the outlook on price per share on CNUV, after the reverse merger??
my CNUV account is about to blow up, I hope there are some more foolish sellers selling at moving average..lol, I have massive bids sitting right thur
the 3 new laws gaining attention in the NSS market are outlined and somewhat explained in my last post.
i am still doing dd on any possible additional 'paths to profits' that might become immediately available due to these taking effect.
would likely at least post here prior to full adoption.
- hermso
when do we see the full quotes on L2 and not the stupid ''5000*5000'', i have never understood it...that one alone helps in dilution i think
Realized you are an Arsenal fun...today wasn't good..but better performance overall than Chelsea FC of which I am a fun..
waiting on a move on CMSI....

New Rules Will Cause Panic For Shorts
Posted: Feb 25 2011 By: Jim Sinclair Post Edited: February 25, 2011 at 9:12 pm
Dear Friends,
Between now and Monday, February 28th be prepared for panicked short sellers who cannot make delivery to try every trick in the book to buy back their short positions.
The following is information from Dr. Jim Decosta:
Here is the URL:
http://www. style='background-color:yellow;'>finra.org/Industry/Regulation/RuleFilings/2010/P121892?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+FINRARuleFilings+(FINRA+Rule+Filings)
Quote: There’s 3 new laws gaining attention in the NSS market reform arena: FINRA 4320 goes into effect on 2/28/11. It mandates 13 day buy-ins for open delivery failures FINALLY applying to shares of non-reporting corporations. FINRA 2010-043, also starting on 2/28/11 reinstates the “short sale exempt” (SSE) marking requirements for trade reporting and the OATS system. Those MMs accessing the bona fide MM exemption from executing pre-borrows or “locates” before admittedly naked short sales must now FORMALLY acknowledge the accessing of that universally-abused exemption. Being that these trades are theoretically being made to “inject liquidity” then the excuse to hide the related trade data from the public’s eyes goes out the window. You can’t have it both ways and claim the bona fide MM exemption and later claim that the related trade data needs to be kept secret because it might reveal a “proprietary trading strategy”.
Truly bona fide MMs that are able to legally access that universally-abused exemption cover their naked short position on the next downtick after their short sale when buy side liquidity is in need of being ejected as share prices fall. The 3rd new rule which is in effect now states that the offers and bids that MMs post must be of approximately the same size. No longer can the offers be of 1 million shares and the offsetting bid good for the minimum 5,000 shares.
The verbiage in 4320 is especially well done as it FINALLY puts the clearing firms that aid and abet this crime wave on the spot. With the FFETF, which is made up of 25 different agencies, now on the scene the transparency has increased markedly. You can imagine how critical the lack of transparency is to a crime involving selling nonexistent securities and then refusing to ever deliver that which you sold AFTER being allowed access to the funds of the investor being defrauded.
Here are the links to the rules SR-FINRA-2010-028 and SR-FINRA-2010-043:
www.finra.org/Industry/Regulation/RuleFilings/2010/P121522
Notice the part I marked in bold in the quote above:
"FINRA 4320 goes into effect on 2/28/11. It mandates 13 day buy-ins for open delivery failures FINALLY applying to shares of non-reporting corporations."

In considering whether to trade, you should be aware of the following points:
The national securities markets are extremely efficient and competitive. Successful trading typically requires skill and discipline as well as experience and knowledge of the capital markets. There is no guarantee that you will be successful in implementing your investment strategy. A substantial number of traders will not be successful. Moreover, changes in market structure and competitive conditions also may affect your continued success. Only risk capital should be used for trading. Market structure and competitive changes in the markets may cause formerly successful traders to become less successful. Trading can involve a volume of activity. Each trade generates a commission and the total commissions on such trading can be in excess of any earnings. Persons who are new to trading should strictly limit both the number of trades they do and the size of their trades to reduce the risk of large dollar losses during the learning process. Trading activity may result in losses that can exceed 100% of your initial capital. You are solely responsible for any losses in your account. Placing contingent orders, such as "stop-loss" or "stop-limit" orders, will not necessarily limit your losses to the intended amounts, since market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders. Similarly, using "market orders" can be very risky, since large gaps can occur in price movements of active stocks. Under certain market conditions, you may find it difficult or impossible to liquidate a position quickly at a reasonable price. This can occur, for example, when the market for a stock suddenly drops, or if trading is halted due to recent news events or unusual trading activity. The more volatile a stock is, the greater the likelihood that problems may be encountered in executing a transaction. In addition to normal market risks, you may experience losses due to system failures. The firm and its clearing broker rely upon sophisticated software and hardware to execute transactions, which are subject to failure due to a variety of factors. Among other events, you may experience losses due to: system crashes during both peak and low volume periods; the loss of orders and, delayed, conflicting and inaccurate confirmations on orders or cancellations that you initiate. The use of any margin or leverage in an account can work against you as well as for you. Leverage can lead to large losses as well as gains. You may sustain a total loss of the initial margin funds and any additional funds that you deposit with your broker to establish or maintain a position, and you may incur losses beyond your initial investment. If the market moves against your position, you may be called upon to deposit a substantial amount of additional margin funds, on short notice, in order to maintain your position. If you do not provide the required funds within the time required, your position may be liquidated at a loss, and you will be liable for any resulting deficit in your account. You should consult your broker concerning the nature of the protections available to safeguard funds or property deposited in your account.
ALL OF THE POINTS NOTED ABOVE APPLY TO BOTH STOCK AND OPTION TRADING OF DOMESTIC EQUITY SECURITIES. THE RISK OF DAY TRADING AND/OR OPTION TRADING MAY BE SUBSTANTIAL. THIS BRIEF STATEMENT CANNOT DISCLOSE ALL THE RISKS AND OTHER ASPECTS OF TRADING. ONLY RISK CAPITAL SHOULD BE USED FOR TRADING.
