D Medical signs 5th US insulin pump distribution deal

D Medical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: DMED); TASE:DMED) has signed its fifth US distribution deal for its insulin pump. Subsidiary Spring Health Solutions Inc. has signed a non-exclusive agreement with Solara Medical Supplies Inc. for distribution of its Spring Universal Infusion Sets in the US. The company did not disclose the terms of the deal.
Today's agreement comes a week after the company signed a US distribution agreement with Better Living Now Inc.
The two-year will be automatically renewed for one-year periods, unless terminated by one of the parties. The Spring Universal Infusion Set is an insulin pump for the treatment of type 1 diabetes. The current US insulin pump market is $730 million.
D Medical CEO Efri Argaman noted that this was the company's fifth distribution agreement in the US within six months.
D Medical's share price rose 1.1% in morning trading on the TASE today to NIS 3.68, after remaining unchanged on Nasdaq yesterday at $0.94, giving a market of $7.7 million.
