ummm.. you are wrong, amazon uses USPS as well. I own a few amazon business, and I can 100% say we ship USPS with our prime items as long as it is under 1lb they will ship with USPS.

Who couldn't see this coming...the USPS raised its pricing categorically...not only that, they changed their pricing structure. No matter where you buy postage from with USPS, you'll be paying the pricing that, otherwise, last year, you would only have to pay at the center, no matter how many parcels you have! Why do you think Amazon uses Fedex and UPS. They use EVERYONE BUT USPS...its because they are the smart moves. Added exposure to stamps.com with these other carriers will skyrocket their sales platform. This is a buy A+++.

Here is how i see it. So they do not give USPS exclusive contract, and can now only offer regular pricing anywhere else.. but people that have stamp.com account like myself will still use stamp.com because its easy to purchase the postage, and I already have an account so why not continue doing so.. biggest concern is what the margins stamps.com had when they did have usps exclusive agreement in place..but if they bring UPS or Fedex as well it just might make their earnings even more attractive.

Earnings call set for Oct 31st at 5:00pm, not expecting them to disclose the change in the the USPS contract. They will probably say that the government hasn't announced it yet so they have to keep quiet. I would not be surprised at all to see this thing give one last rally.

Postal Service review launched in April has already been completed and was delivered in first week of August. The administration is waiting until after midterms to announce the findings but this thing has traded down since then. Someone knows something.

Stamps.com Inc. (STMP) shares surged in Monday's extended session after the Internet-based postage service turned in better-than-expected quarterly results. Stamps.com reported it swung to a first-quarter profit of $13.2 million, or 71 cents a share, from a loss of $970,000, or 6 cents a share, a year earlier. On an adjusted basis, the company would have earned $1.72. Revenue grew 86% to $81.6 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had forecast earnings of 25 cents a share on revenue of $761 million. Stamps.com also raised its 2016 revenue outlook to $310 million to $330 million from $290 million to $310 million. It also hiked its adjusted EPS forecast to a range of $6.00 to $6.50 versus $5.00 to $5.50. Shares jumped 17% in after hours.
