Thanks, I'm down quite a bit. I have no choice but to hope for the best!
$SPI have some problems with the financial statements as mentioned. That could be a little red flag for investors. I´m still holding but how long depends...

Nice trading today. Maybe something good in the near future. I hope it continues and holds.
Any buying is countered by immediate selling!

There was a nice steady increase, then a quick tumble!
I'm sure that many who bought at .49 probably sold with a decent profit. My entry price is more than double the current price of .84.
It has clawed its way back up quite a bit since that 52 week low.
I expect them to be BK about now. They keep spinning out assets that can't hold market value. Woke + Defunct Chinese = $0
Anyone here with an actual outlook next 1-2 years please ? All down for months and no light in the tunnel....
The California Solar & Storage Assn. estimated that new solar customers would be paid a base rate of 5 cents per kilowatt-hour of electricity that they don’t use at home, sending it to the larger power grid — down from as much as 30 cents now.
@Lowjack - can u tell me what your post have to do with SPI , please ?
Lets see if they continue to buy panels with 1/3 or less the payout for power to the grid. Didn't make sense at current rates!
banner at 1.60 - 2.40 ish
has this company acquired sun energy, look at the weekly trend.
Solarjuice spin-off means SPI revenues about to decrease by 80 million, looking for 1.00 or less SP imo
In comparance of Solar Industry one may have a look to https://de.advfn.com/borse/NASDAQ/FSLR/chart/streaming
So what happens here with this Co.? I´m in for a year or so and th chart tells me other way...
Anyone with some better outlook please ...
Thanks HD.
Well, so much for that thought!
Not much of a share price increase, but huge trading volume. Looks like some good news might be coming..
Shouldn't be too much longer for the BK filing.
Sellers keep chipping away at it.
Didn't it actually hit 46 bucks not too long ago? It didn't stay there that long, maybe less than an hour or two, but it did hit 46 bucks. Some investors made a huge profit!
Was the institution a loony bin?

$20 is higher than the stock has traded in the last 5 years! I could see $2 but not $20.
Why would you think the stock would double when they keep losing larger and larger sums of money? The company is insolvent!
Hi hyborianwar, think 4 to 5 would be ok 4me. There is still dept to count
""We incurred net losses of $15.1 million, $6.3 million and $44.8 million in 2019, 2020 and 2021, respectively. We had an accumulated deficit of $637.4 million as of December 31, 2021. We also had a working capital deficit of $90.0 million as of December 31, 2021. In addition, we have substantial amounts of debt that became due in 2022. These conditions raise substantial doubt about the Company's ability to continue as a going concern.--
The last spike was 4,35 and I took some 50% profits. If that number will be broken it looks better than ever but I really think over 4 or 5 profit taking will be on the radar first days.
Nevertheless we are on the right way.
Good Luck for all private Investors :)

Well, that rally was short!
Steady increases the last 5 days. It looks good to go!
Fingers crossed here. I feel somewhat better. I have 340 shares at 3.55.

SPI Energy Co., Ltd. ("SPI Energy" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: SPI), a global renewable energy company and provider of solar storage and electric vehicle (EV) solutions for business, residential, government, logistics and utility customers, today announced its SPI Solar Inc. ("SPI Solar") subsidiary secured approximately 465 acres across two parcels for the development of a utility-scale solar project in Illinois.
The 54 megawatt ("MW") alternating current, 78.4MW direct current project is expected to produce 124,986MW hours ("MWh") of electricity in its first full year of operation, the equivalent electricity needed to annually offset CO2 emissions of more than 11,000 homes.
"This is another significant project for SPI Solar," said Xiaofeng Denton Peng, Chairman and CEO of SPI Energy. "Our growing operations clearly demonstrate our ability to generate meaningful impact in CO2 emissions reduction with solar technologies. Illinois enacted the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act in 2021 with the goal of achieving 100 percent carbon-free energy by 2045. We are excited to play an important role in helping the state achieve this noteworthy goal and look forward to bringing this utility scale project to fruition over the next few years."
The U.S. installed 5.4 GW of solar PV capacity in Q3 2021 to reach 113.5 GW of total installed capacity, enough to power 21.8 million American homes, from the source of SEIA (Solar Energy Industries Association). It is expected that U.S. solar generating capacity to grow by 21.5 GW in 2022. In total, the U.S. solar market will install more than 107 GW of solar over the next five years.
