Mark this post! Short-term, there will be a squeeze again, like the one that took it from $8.49 to $8.80 the other day in the matter of minutes. These bounce plays lately are my bread and butter.
Long-term, here's what I see. Nice gap to fill to $13. SONS was already down almost -30% for the year since January, down from $21 to $15 so much of the bad news earlier in the week was already baked into the PPS. Their outlook called for -25% outlook for the year 2015 when the PPS was already down -30%. Now it's sitting down over -60% for the year.
5Yr historical chart data shows it's very near a 5yr low which was around $7.50 in December 2012 when the financials were much worse than what they are now (really, it's not even close, SONS is in WAY better financial position than it was back in late 2012). The 10yr low was at $5 back in 2009 when pretty much every stock hit all-time lows.
I Bought $8.10, $8.06 yesterday and $8.02 today. I have a nice lot of shares. The bounce could be super nice here. 10k shares on only a 15% bounce would put SONS at $9.20 and be able to walk away with a nice $12k profit. Patience will pay off.
Look at BITA chart after 6 down days down earlier this month after concerns from $80 to $46 and then pushed to $55, nearly a 20% bounce. The decline slowed on declining volume and then BOOM, a 20% bounce. Similar play here.
Much more reward than risk at this level and the trading ranges are getting tighter on decreasing volume everyday now, this is what you want to see.
We will be bouncing soon enough and I'll collect shares again under $8, $7.75 and $7.50 if it wants to go there.

Might be a slow day.
Really tight range $8.05-$8.10 first 30M, the longer it can hold this range along with yesterday's action in this range, it is solidifying my belief the bottom is in here.
Looking for the break of $8.22 and support of $8.03 the current 52-wk low.
Hopefully we are at bottom
First time that PM isn't selling off since the selloff. Again, more signals this range is at/near bottom.
Won't be fixed until next week they said.
Are you having any trouble with Ihub right now?
Looking back on the 2yr, SONS has never had more than 6-days red. Yesterday was a 6th day being red.
I'll take my chances here especially after crushing 3-consecutive 52-week lows.
I can see a bounce coming too! I'm in at $8.09. Good luck to all!
Anyone else having trouble with Ihub?
Locked and loaded tomorrow she be interesting, this really a bounce tomorrow we should in the 9-950 range.imo
$SONS reversal underway now. First day it did not make a new low after the first hour and AH traded up. Big bounce coming IMO.
im thinking so.
coming soon to the ground?
I'm watching, but still don't think the dumping is done
Wouldn´t catch a falling knife...
Watching real close. I liked the 15 minute chart turn around. Hopefully we stay the course. Good luck today!
Im in. I like the buying pressure.
Tough to call but I would not be surprised to see a reversal very shortly.
The bounce will be huge but I would like to time it perfect. Might get single digit RSI at this point.
Going to be interesting today to see how far it goes before we get a bottom bounce.
Looks like Institutions are dumping. $400,000 bid got ate up in one pop at 8.70
Be watching closely in the morning to see if there is any strength. IMO this is going to bounce in very short order.
I'm watching closely too. It's going to be a great play soon
yeah made big $$ the first bounce, lost a little with a stop loss on the 2nd attempt.
didn't try to get in again but going to keep on watch.
I still dont think the dumping is finished, and even when it is it's still best to wait for buying pressure to kick in
One thing I've learned about playsl like this one is that they take patience. Probalbly won't be a good time for entry until thurs or fri
They pretty much dumped all day yesterday and last Friday when SONS was $15+ IMO a lot of times they know the news before it hits and yesterday's dump just reinforces that opinion but it's JMO
Sooner I'm thinking institutions will start to dump shares. I'll be looking for an entry after that
Sonus Products Added to the U.S. Department of Defense Approved Products List
Sonus SBCs Achieve UCR2013 Certification through DoD's Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC)
Key Takeaways
Sonus SBC 5110 and Sonus SBC 5210 Session Border Controllers (SBC) meet the U.S. Department of Defense's (DoD) Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR2013) and are included in the JITC's Approved Products List (APL).
DoD agencies may now purchase these Sonus products with the assurance of interoperability across DoD networks.
WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sonus Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONS), a global leader in securing real-time communications, announced today that the Sonus SBC 5110 and Sonus SBC 5210 Session Border Controllers (SBCs) have completed the interoperability testing and information assurance certification for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) UCR2013 requirements and are posted on the JITC's Approved Products List (APL). The JITC APL provides a list of certified technology products for deployment in the U.S. DoD. The SBC 5110 and the SBC 5210 join the Sonus NX 1000 IP Access Switch, Promina 800 Multiplexor and VX 900, which are currently listed on the JITC's APL.
The SBC 5110 and SBC 5210 are high-performance SBCs that deliver exceptional scale and capacity to secure and enable real-time communications including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), video and Unified Communications (UC) applications. The SBC 5110 and SBC 5210 are designed to help enterprises, service providers and government agencies protect their networks, ensure high quality voice and video communications and reduce costs through more efficient IP-based network architecture.
The DISA UCR2013 is a rigorous testing process that features comprehensive interoperability and information assurance tests to validate and certify vendor products for operation in DoD networks. The addition of the SBC 5110 and SBC 5210 to the APL will give options that would offer agencies more flexibility and higher performance when building out their VoIP and UC networks.

"The world's most mission critical communications networks have come to trust Sonus," said John Winters, vice president of sales at Sonus and president of Sonus Federal.
