Yeah....do you love that the management of this company has yet to issue the stock owed to the people who own the company SNRY which funded this project.
When those stocks are issued, SOPV will hit the basement. It would seem to me that if any of the principles of SNRY buy ANY shares of SOPV and sell them again before issuing the already owed shares to the SNRY holders this might qualify as insider trading.
SOPV is not showing all of their existing shares owed to holders of SNRY.
SNRY is the parent company. SOPV was spun off from SNRY a month ago. SNRY promised one share of SOPV for every two shares of SNRY to shareholders of SNRY as of 9/1/09.
As of this time, these stocks have not been issued. Consequently, I would warn everyone against buying SOPV until the stocks are issued to the owners of SNRY, as once they are issued, SOPV price will plummet and your investments may be worth less than half of what they are now.
The authorized capital includes 100,000,000 shares of common stock, $0.001 par value per share. There are 53,137,500 shares of common stock issued and outstanding as of June 30, 2010, reflecting the reverse merger and pro-rata adjustments.
This brand new company looks very interesting, still in the early stages here, not to many people know about this company yet but as you can see nice looking chart, great news with acquisition. Please post any thoughts or comments about the company. Thanks.
Everyone in the penny stock community was watching the brand new solar stock SSOL very closely as it gained +300% in a matter of days.
I think SSOL wet many traders appetites for brand new solar stocks and SOPV may be next big solar winner (just check out that sexy stock chart below)!
On Monday SOPV announced the acquisition of Maple Leaf Renewables Group, Inc., which includes a significant list of developing project pipeline assets in Texas and California.
The projects range in size from 2Mw up to 100Mw and according to SOPV's CEO David Surette, "one of the first projects we acquired is a 10Mw project in southern California [and] this project would generate approximately $40 million in revenues."
It's interesting to note that SOPV's CEO ended the news release by stating that "we will keep you informed about future projects coming from this exciting acquisition."
Will SOPV Announce More Solar Projects
In The Near Future?
The stock chart, in my opinion, looks like it's setting up to be a nice slow & steady gainer that will inevitably result in a very nice momentum play.
Happy Trading,
