Boards dead, stocks not trading, people talk of doom and gloom. Wow things have changed pretty quick for some.
Good luck all.
Can you please elaborate on what you heard?
I am not bashing. I am just saying what I heard. I said I had no proof that I can post.
It seems to me that you just want to lower the PPS and get in cheaper. This company has solid fundamentals and once some PRs are released I believe investors will realize that. Please post some info on why the people running this company are crooks instead of your usual no fact exclamation point pumping and in this case bashing.
Do you have any factual info to back it up eagle? I don't see how you can change your opinion on SMGH so quickly without posting any info?
The company is run by crooks or so it would seem. It is no ADK or DPDW. To bad.
Sorry been crazy busy. No more info. Sorry. Look slike it must be true though judging by the price action. Sad.
Have you found anything yet? care to share?
PM's fine with me
How bad is this going to get ?? -- Any good guess ?? -- IMHO --
Just what I have been told by others on IHUB. Really sad. Great story but bad people equals this disaster. I will ask others for back up and sent it to you.
Feb 28, 2008
telecomasia.net
(Xinhua via NewsEdge) China's largest fixed-line telecom operator China Telecom said that its extraordinary general meeting has approved the proposed scheme to absorb 20 wholly-owned subsidiaries of the company this month.
The transformation of subsidiaries into branches by China Telecom is part of the preparation for telecom industry reshuffle and company transformation, noted Chen Yunhong, analyst with Guojin Securities.
China Telecom is transforming itself from a mere internet service provider to a comprehensive information provider, which needs a highly effective corporate structure to implement integrated company strategies such as brand buildup and information application.
Absorption of subsidiaries will also give China Telecom a bigger play for scale effect, in terms of integrated procurement for example, analysts say.
Do you have any information?
Thanks!
This turned in a disasters. Bad people are involved with the company.

Just picked up some more on this dip, thank you someone.
Chinese market is just massive when it comes to cell phones and services.
stock is churning slowly here....can't wait to see the next PR!! :)
Welcome. That's a fantastic position imo. Based on the history we've seen, I'd be surprised if the merger doesn't get completed. I think this is just the start. Little pull back, consolidation happening the past few days, looking for another move up imo.

thats why i bought the stock, with eps on the otcbb, which is rare with any otcbb stock to have any earnings at all, I hope to see this stock with an even higher than .13 eps with the company growth. Long term 2 years could be $10.00 and continued growth.
Tom
oups that's true..$4 minimum...even better for us :D
In order to get onto the NASDAQ, the stock MUST trade above $4 per share for more than 30 days.
Once a stock is on the Nasdaq it cant go below $1 for more than 90 days. If it does it drops back to the bb or the pinks.
So if this company expects to go Nasdaq then they better be trading well above $4 a share and maintain a bid of at least $4 a share for at least 30 days.

.<font color=platinum>**SMGH DD Summary**
Hi Tom, welcome to the board...A P/E of 30 would be amazing for the stock!! but i've stick with a conservative P/E of 10 right now....I really think this stock has a good chance of seeing $1 ++ based on its fundamentals..let's not forget that they WANT to uplist to the NASDAQ which will ultimately requires a PPS of $1 +
I think this one has a SERIOUS chance to move higher the next couple weeks/months. And here's Why;
-The company has a float of 2.5 million and is OTCBB
-Insiders hold 60% of O/S !!!
-They are already profitable and doesn't need to raise ANY money right now.
-They deal with big Chinese players; China Mobile, Air China, China Telecom.
-They intend to uplist to the NASDAQ.
-They will have 13 cents in EPS once the merger is completed with Beijing Network Education Union Co. Ltd. Put a P/E of 10 and you get a PPS valuation over $1 pretty easily.
From their recent 8K;
BNEU reported it has an unaudited net asset of $9 million. For the year ended 2006, it recorded an unaudited revenue of $4.6 million with net income of $1.18 million under the Chinese accounting principle. For the year ended 2007, it recorded unaudited revenue of $ 11.8 million with $5 million net income under Chinese accounting principle. After the completion of this merger SMGH will be generating earnings per share of 13 cents.
SMGH NICE READ;
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=26902378
Thats a really good press release. If this company can pull off the merger and really have .13 cents a share, a growing telecom company out of the 2nd fastest growing market in the world should get a p/e of at least 30 if not maybe 50.
A 30 p/e would value this stock at 3.90 all day long.
I am new to IH, and I bought this stock based upon that press. A friend of mine dirrected me to this issue and i picked up about 50,000 on the day it fell down to .22.
I am also told that this is a good place to meet some good people, so between my long in SMGH and being new on Investors Hub, I hope all works out well. Not like the other message boards where there are a bunch of paid bashers running around to help shorts.
Anyway, hopefully we all get along here,
Thanks
Tom
Nice, welcome aboard. Looking for tight trading range today, chart looking interesting. Watching for the 13 day to start turning upwards next as well as MACD.

The Company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and distributing rechargeable polymer lithium-ion ("PLI") batteries in the
People's Republic of China (the "PRC"). PLI batteries produce a relatively high average of 3.8 volts per cell, which makes them attractive for
their light weight and high volume. These cells can be configured in almost any prismatic shape and in a wide variety of sizes, which make them
particularly useful in consumer products.
The Company offers over 300 products, and a single battery can have power capacity of between 30 and 20,000 milliamp-hours. Our
manufacturing facility has the capacity to produce on a daily basis batteries with an aggregate production of 20,000 amp-hours. Our products
can be grouped into four major categories: electronic systems for mining companies; batteries for mining equipment; higher voltage and higher
capacity batteries for use in the automotive industry; and batteries for power tools and portable consumer products, such as cellular phones,
digital cameras and laptop computers.
Our PLI batteries can be built to satisfy the capacity requirements for such diverse products as mining lights, electronic automobiles,
and cellular phones. We can also design products to meet a client's specifications.
The Company's production management and quality control have received approval from an international accreditation organization
and certification from the European Community. Our manganese and lithium iron phosphate batteries, types of PLI batteries, have received the
PRC National Security certification for use in mining lights.
We have obtained four patents from the PRC in order to protect our technology. The company does not use any intellectual property
owned by third parties.
We are a member of the National Electric Vehicle Industry Association and the committee of experts convened to draft standards for
batteries used in mining lights. Both these groups were formed, and are managed, by the PRC governmental departments. The Company has
obtained all the required licenses and approvals from the PRC.
