What happened to the .40 by end of week? Guess away and if you are close you look like a genius!!
Can't wait going to be a great week with a new BOD from Rio TINTO and apparently some major buying coming in this week!
1,000,000 shares per day and .40 by end of week. Going to be a great week and finally some price increase before AGM.
Is it finally time for Shore Gold to start mining? Go SGF!!!
Government requests more information on proposed diamond mine
Submitted on October 31, 2012 - 6:07am
paNOW Staff
Shore Gold has heard back on its Revised Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a proposed diamond mine in Saskatchewan.
The over 10,000 page document on the Star-Orion project located east of Prince Albert was submitted back in August. It generated 56 federal comments and information requests and 73 from the provincial government, said Shore Gold in a release.
The 129 comments is a far cry from the over 800 received from the original EIS, submitted in December 2010.
"The limited number of comments and information requests that may require additional work is encouraging,” said George Reed, vice president of exploration in a release. “Shore is confident that we are steadily progressing towards a fully compliant and permitted project. “
Before the provincial government would be in a position to issue permits, Shore must first respond to each inquiry. After which the project goes through a legislated 30 day public review.
Reed said they are presently focused on satisfying all the provincial and federal requirements for project approval.
“Simultaneous to the ongoing completion of project approval and permitting, Shore is in pursuit of development capital on a number of fronts,” he said.
The estimated cost of construction of the open pit diamond mine is pegged at $1.9 billion.

Hi, Doug,
1st. Happy Holidays.
2nd. C'mon! That PR from erhe was absolutely the lamest excuse for a news release i've ever seen.
Akin to announcing when one expects to move one's bowels.
c'mon! That's not how a real company acts.
The Nigerian Nightmare continues.
Congratulations!!! I scanned the board earlier and saw that your name is no longer allowed. Hey, not much room for posting over there anyway with all the egos getting in the way.
How can people actually complain about management and communication over there, and at the same time claim to have been aboard for more than 5 years? Heck, it's better now than it ever was!!!!! Ah well - they obviously need someone to blame and something to whine about.
As one of the greatest posters ever on that board claimed - and I paraphrase - "date her, don't marry her".
Hope you are enjoying your freedom across the pond. Yes - kid in college now. Spent a ton of the fall following his budding college golfing career, which didn't go as well as planned!
I don't spend much time on these boards because of their obvious waste of time as the agendas are far more important than helping each other.
Take care.....
lugs, okay after working long and hard at it,
I finally got myself banned from the erhe IHUB board.
the lower the price the more sensitive the feelings apparently.
Thanks for the tip jcanada
TT
guys, my brothers father in law is a welder and he is working at the site now. he said the work he is doing is preparing for further construction at the site. Sounds good to me?
lugs, I guess you got your boy off to college.
My brother just sent his third and youngest off--and man is he lost.
Is erhe showing some life now? I'm still limited to one post per day so it isn't worth my time hardly to go there.
The wife and I are now in London, where we'll stay through XMAS and into mid-January. We don't have a home anymore so. . .wherever sounds good to me.
Finally bnvi got a bump after hours from $.38 to $.50. they coupled an expected reverse split announcement with hugely positive FDA guidance on lead drug. Tuesday could be interesting as there will likely be a tug of war.
luck to you on it all
robj
Take care Rob if you move along - I can understand. It isn't worth trying to paddle upstream.
Istanbul? Sheesh!!!
Still holding some ERHE - more than I should, and less than I used to. Ah well - it will get pumped again in the fall.
I hope.
I still like the story, but less than I used to for sure.
Been spending lots of time away from these boards and enjoying my last summer with my son, who goes off to college in 6 weeks. It's gonna be lonely around here. Best kid God ever created - I have no idea how I got so lucky to have him be mine!
Take care..........
hey, lugs,
sheep moderating the erhe board limited me to one post per day there.
no fun not to be connected more than that.
Are you still fully loaded on erhe--actually i only give a shit about that stock to hope that you come out on it.
BNVI still patchy at best at $.42 this a.m.
Still good with $.365 basis and thought about adding last week below 4.40 but didn't bother cause I can't really follow the market due to being 8 hours ahead now. (Istanbul for a couple of months)
go erhe! (don't tell erhelongtime, ha!)
go bnvi!
robj
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. It puts things in perspective for sure.
Take care.......
yeah, i'm magical.
sold at $.797, which was $.002 above my average. Sold everything except BNVI as I just don't have time to watch and trade right now.
I'm back in the U.S.--dad just died and I'm executor, which is full-time for a couple of months.
luck on your stuff
GNVC - ouch........
no, lugs, average is $.365 and I bought more at $.40.
Big hit or a big Mark McGwire-like swing and a miss.
Hope it's more like Albert Pujols, though--in all ways
I hope you didn't get too injured by BNVI.
I didn't like the listing issue that they had, and avoided the stock looking for clarification.
I see the clarification today. Ouch.
GNVC doing well--all in Roth IRAs on a conversion end of last year at $.83
BNVI treading water, although I think eventually it will be a higher priced stock--maybe just not as glamorous as cancer drugs.
My own thoughts are both above $20 by the time Obama takes office again for term 2.
ha!
robj
Man, the pumpers love to pump over there, don't they? I own more of that than I ever have, and am very happy with my account balances at the moment. When will it decend again is the question, as it doesn't appear the buyout rumor is any more than just that - a rumor. At this time anyway.
GNVC makin you a proud owner. Very nice movement there lately!! Congrats! BNVI stuck in place. Still watching that one and may take a position, a small one though. Need to free up a little cash first.
Enjoy the weekend.......
good one lugs,
you guys are kicking all sorts of ass over on ERHE.
well-deserved on your part.
As for me, I'm filliing up on my diet of hat from that board.
robj
lugs,
yeah "warm up to me over there"Kind of like how they warmed up to Joan of Arc.
Ah yes, they did some dancing on your sold sign today! LOL!!! I know you will lose sleep over it tonight.....
I'm still not convinced it is the real deal yet, but the action sure was pretty. Let's see what Thursday holds, and if the buying pressure continues or subsides.
There sure are some easy buttons to push over there though. Today I had one poster indicate I am a trader (I respect him very much) and another claim I am jealous of traders with money!!! LOL!!! That guy needs to take some reading lessons and understand what sarcasm is!!! That board really cracks me up!!
Oh well - Thursday gives me another opportunity to enjoy the picture of profits in my accounts. I look forward to it. And a happy wife makes for a pleasant house!
Meanwhile, if $.42 comes back around, don't forget to jump onboard!! I think they are startin to warm up to ya over there!
tamtam, good one for you, lugs and rest of the crew.
That's okay, I made 30%+ on $20K from my recent $.397 buys.
If I buy again at $42, I'm happy for me again.
If I never get to buy again because all of you longs are kicking some ass, I'm happy for you guys.
It's not a zero-sum game to me. Others can win at the same time I win.
You guys DID kick some serious ass today, though.
robj
(Hey, I'm out of my one post per day on the ERHE board already--if you want to post this to that board to show I'm indeed eating some hat, go ahead)
I think someone can eat his hat right now
thanks for the detailed thoughts, lugs.
Hope you make your money here.
It doesn' really look like I'll get back below $.45 unless there is bad news--which I don't want for you guys.
I'm still looking around to short-term a couple but don't really have any top candidates that turn my crank right now.
robj
Ah, look at it this way: There are dozens of posters over there that are doing a happy dance because you sold early!! Think of the lives you have enriched today! On the other hand, should the price fall back to $.42, I am sure you will happily announce your return to the stock!! LOL!! Gotta love message boards.
What does Mark know and do I trust his words? Straight up - I only know that Mark has been correct a couple of times with comments about what will happen, and one was indeed a very major event. He obviously had caught wind of that one early, that Sinopec/Addax were partnering up with ERHC. I was in a chat room when it was delivered by him shortly before it became real.
Having said that, he has on numerous, numerous other occasions been about as accurate as weathermen. Do I believe him? I think it is possible what he is saying, yes. For sure, he puts his reputation on the line this time, as this is as bold as it gets, and he would need to do some serious rewinding if he is wrong. Am I buying on his words? LOL!!! Of course not. Will I sell into this? Not at the moment. If it crumbles back to $.50 and sits, I am okay missing a swing here. But should it continue up to $.70ish, I may be far more willing to take some off the table.
I have a little trouble reading Mark some times. He is a very proud guy who usually seems to have the best interests of the board, but also has had way too many missed messages/predictions/news elements to say with certainly he is accurate about this.
It's always a crap shoot, as you well know.
Wit the way this one moves up and down so easily, buys in the mid $.40s and under are usually good for a return somewhere down the road. This is a very active time in the company's life, and volatility could present some nice trading. Don't lose touch of the stock and buy under $.45, would be my suggestion.
But yeah, sometimes it takes holding your nose to do it.
good one lugs.
sold too early at $.57
okay though, it was only going to be a trade from the beginning probably.
what do you think of this Mark guy's access to info.
I'm thinking that a lot of today's rise is based on his posting to the message board.
that scares the shit out of me.
thanks, lugs,
good thoughts on the cash.
ERHE just looked a little tired and I had way more than i wanted to hold until news--as this one always seems to teeter on the edge of good news.
Got enough shares left that there is a nice reward if we fall off the edge into that good news.
robj
Congrats on the win with ERHE. A tidy little profit is always a good thing.
The cash for ERHE is very misleading when taken as you probably have. The EEZ is currently (or so we hear) allowing ERHE to pick its 2 FULL blocks. We obviously cannot pay the hundreds of millions and billions of $$ to actually explore the blocks ourselves, so we will be partnering with someone(s) to do the drilling, much like we did in the JDZ. And, like the JDZ, I would expect us to get a very nice chunk of change (over $40 mil in the JDZ I think) to go along with the partnership(s). So cash, while it is not strong on our books right now, is probably not a real issue going forward near term, unless the company does something real stupid with their acquision plans.
About those plans - I expect any acquision to be a small amount of money, and designed more to create a small revenue stream to help boost us to a new exchange. All that is very fuzzy right now, and many feel it - acquisition talk - is no more than posturing to appear poised for a longer company existence to anyone currently looking to swallow us.
Ultimately, I think it is possible, if not likely, that we get our JDZ and EEZ assets bought, though the company could remain in some other form as a player in the African area as Offor has huge political and local connections there, and probably would be one of the biggest players. I do think he would prefer to play without someone like an SEC or other governing body looking over his shoulder. He could then freely do things the "Nigerian" way and be bigger and stronger sooner.
lugs,
sold about 2/3 today at $.515 with average of $.397.
Didn't like that news about ERHE becoming an acquirer.
$26M won't go very far and they already have plenty of damn shares outstanding.
I'll sit with the last 1/3 of my shares and see where the story goes for a while.
Yeah, I'm now officially a long on ERHE
with a basis of $.397, I think I'll either be able to trade it profitably; buy and hold for a buyout (it's the only thing that makes since for Mr. O to cash in); or sell out on next block announcement.
My best read on this is that it should be able to trade above it's high of $.91 sometime.
I've consolidated my IRAs in only 5 stocks now.
BNVI
GNVC
DSCO (only free shares from a good $.485 set of buys and out on the run-up to $1.60+
ERHE
AMNL (.61) (You'll hate this, because it is the former ALMI that I've scalped a few times--and should have again yesterday at $.84). Don't have 100K+ shares like I did last time but I've been looking for some relatively safer havens from the overall market so far this year. Got lucky and have gotten out of some trading stocks with decent profits or minimal losses.
I've tried to buy enough of these 5 stocks to make a difference if I have guessed right.
Not always a good guesser, but sometimes I am.
good luck lugs on all of it--especially ERHE right now.
I think BNVI is a coiled spring but GNVC will be the fastest 2x at this price. (BNVI will be the fastest 10X from this level, though, imo)
robj
Well, you weren't exactly reaching out and stroking egos over there!! And believe me - there are a bunch of giant sized egos that need stroking over there. Cross one of the sacred posters and death can be immediate. And yes, I know you will lose sleep over your posting restriction.... yeah right. Play nice and maybe you can get some love!! Hey, I find your posts entertaining. But then I know your style a bit better than those clowns know you.
Meanwhile, I am glad you decided to jump in a bit deeper. I am confident you will have plenty of opportunity to exit without pain this spring. And who knows - you may even learn to like the stock.
I bought a bunch at $.36 on Wednesday, but not as many as I should have. I expected lower today and didn't get it, went away from the screen for a few hours and..... oops. Missed the bottom I think. But should it fall back under $.36, I will be doing some more collecting. Friday will be interesting to watch.
Still poking my finger at BNVI and am about ready to spend some cash there, though it will be only a small taste. GNVC fall back to $1.50 or so without any news, and I will probably poke that one too. It sounds poised for possibly a very strong year.
IHUB moderator on ERHE limited me to 1 post per day.
wow!
anyway tolet you know I bought Wed and Tr at $.38 and $.375 to top off what I'm willing to hold until the next leg of this story plays out.
Just nibbled on Wed.
But hit it a pretty good lick at $.375 when the volume was only 200K+ and the downforce had obviously abated.
I did have a sale in at $.91, but I'm going to see what happens. It's all in IRAs anyway
robj
I posted a reply on the ERHE board because it is likely to cause some discussions, and I didn't want to create too much activity here.
People find all the discussions arbout ERHE, whichever board they are on.
okay lugs, enough joking from me for a second about ERHE.
You've held it for a while and I only traded it at $.29
I've found myself an unwitting long at $.42 average. I've got a sell for $.68 on just a scalp, but am wondering if I wouldn't be selling this stock just before it finally matures.
Give me your thoughts on where ERHE goes in worst and best case scenarios and in-between.
thanks for the heads up.
robj
all those biotechs are kind of in a pickle.
some good Conference calls from management, and never a word about a reverse split.
I think they are expecting a partner before that to push them to above a dollar.
Mixed bag if that partnership happens too soon, because the PIII trial is cheap, fast and easy to populate with hot flash women and I would hope the company wouldn't give up the farm on a cheaper than necessary partnership just to stay listed.
Of course there is an appeal the company can make that gives them six more months.
ERHE is OTCBB and I don't think that's necessarily the reason why it sucks so hard right now. (I just bought more today at $.39 to average down--which I hate to say that word)
Comparing GNVC to BNVI, I absolutely think they are comparable with similar futures, but right now if I was buying either one, I would probably put 2/3 in BNV just to buy more shares and 1/3 in GNVC keeping dry powder if it falls to $1.50
only my opinion lugs, but wtf do I know I've bought ERHE twice in the last 10 days.
robj
Been doin some prelim stuff on BNVI and noticed they are in a listing pickle come mid March. How are they expecting to remain listed? Like what I read, but they do seem to be a ways off from takeoff, unless they take on a partner of some kind - which appears possible.
GNVC could pop most any moment from what I am gathering.
I think the share price is about to make a move. Just not sure which way, though up appears to be LVL II indicator. I'm adding up $.40 if it goes down.
Safe travels.....
hey, lugs,
i bought in for a trade at $.46 before it went in the tank e.o.d. on Monday.
Tried to buy a spec more at $.42 on Tuesday without success.
Just riding everything out.
Heading back to U.S. tomorrow from Playa del Carmen.
I think snow in forecast for weekend where I'm heading.
yech!
robj
Well, it wasn't me that did the buying. Probably some people looking in on our conversation earlier and liking your picking history!!
It also picked up some bid support according to LVL II. Looks like another winner for ya... you travelin man you.
damn lugs,
I just finish posting to you here and BNVI goes up $.10 to $.68.
It was $.58 when I posted my last response to you 5 minutes ago.
robj
excellent family sentiments, lugs.
and obviously the reason why we work and invet.
No kids--both taught school and wife retired at age 48 with a really good pension and went on to work for the Chief Judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals for 3 years. She spent 3 years in his law firm before the Missouri governor appointed him to the Court. She finally got to retire in 2006
I couldn't take anymore in the schools so started a little medical equipment business I ran from my house for 10 years before selling it also in 2006
We don't feel old, but it seems like the years can slip by pretty quickly. I think we've about gotten to the point where we've decided not to keep a personal residence anywhere. Can go back to Missouri to visit my brother for a week at a time, but otherwise no real hold anymore on SW Missouri.
I think we will just move from country to country (we've liked it so far with extended visits of 2 or more months to several places since 2006--the length of time determined by Visa restrictions. I think we see ourselves probably just becoming renters anytime we decide to spend some months in the U.S.
who knows, we change our mind--- a lot ha!
glad to hear the feel good story you told.
robj
I will try to look at BNVI this weekend. Just haven't had much free time lately and don't know if this weekend will be different. But GNVC has been a wonderful choice for you - and congrats on that!
My profits are nice with ERHC now, and my concerns are not very high at this point. All the things (or similar type) you pointed out as concerns have been there a long time, and likely will remain until the entire situation is resolved. I personally have come to grips with the risk there, and believe the concerns are more emotional than realistic, based on where the company has gone the past few years. I think you see the potential, but you see the concerns too, just not having come to a point of accepting that they don't really go away. The AIM is actually a good point rather than bad, the being Nigerian is what it is (and in some ways applies here), the possible looting of assets is unlikely considering the oversight with ERHE, so on. But I see your points. That's why it isn't for everyone.
I am going to start swinging shares there again because it is so easy to do with that one, provided the volume cooperates. As for IRAs: mine don't contain any ERHE except for Roths I created (wife and me) a few years back that I contribute to annually, and they are almost exclusively ERHE. So I am already set in that respect. And for other plays - there are thousands. I just haven't taken the time to commit the DD to workin them! With the kid's life being priority one right now, that probably won't change until next fall. He's my only, and he is the best kid in the world! My life is devoted to him right now.
Continued good wishes and success with GNVC.
YOWZER Robj!!!!!!!!!
A REAL friend would have told me about GNVC 3 months ago!!!!! What a HUGE day you are having.......
Thanks for the reply - good to hear from ya.
I will get those two stocks - BNVI and GNVC - on my list as things to check out. Thanks for that information. You know I am patient - I'm still with ERHE. 3 years is nothing!!
It sounds like you did real well in getting things accomplished just before the market and economy really tanked, and congrats to you for that! We came into a bunch of bucks in March 08 and put it - in the market, mostly mutuals we didn't want to worry about following!! Oh brother...... it's rebounding, but man did we get clobbered, like most everyone else.
Enjoy the traveling - you've earned it. At 52, I can only hope to be in your position some day. Kid starts college next fall - nest will be empty. Continued good health and success to you and yours, and stay in touch. You obviously know where to find me when you want!!
And thanks to you tamtam for allowing us to converse here.
Hey Robj
Good to hear from you again. In response to your messages last week, I really haven't been that active in the market the past few years, mostly just in ERHE. I lost touch with most we hung with and chatted with, and dropped interest in most of those stocks too. My situation here at home has been hectic with work the past couple of years, thus the focus elsewhere from the market.
I pretty much stopped trading ERHE because the volume got low and didn't want to impact the price so much, but I have moved shares around in various accounts to get things into IRAs for what I see as a long term plan with it. I had traded my cost to below zero at one time and didn't increase ownership, but have recently ramped up the buying and have way too many shares at about $.20 cost per share. I am still a believer in the company and don't see that changing near term.
I do hope you are staying active in the market - buying and selling - and irritating people as well as you can!! ERHE board doesn't like your style - I just laugh. If you can't scream company love over there, no sense in posting. They aren't interested in real discussions, just cheerleaders and more pom poms.
If tamtam doesn't want this post here, I ask that he wait to delete it until you and I can find a common place to touch base once in a while. I understand that this board isn't intended for chatter about open topics and don't mean to irritate or aggravate anyone by posting here. If someone knows a more open forum for discussion, I am all ears!
Tamtam, replying to your PM : Peter not an oil man. Hope you all do great with this stock. Best to you Tamtam and your family. Red
