From what I gather in her article... she is requesting insider information so she can line her own pockets by investing in Sears stock. I don't see how that is moral or legal. I'm sure she will find out his plan just like we all will. She probably already has shares here as well.

SHLD-She's not dogging the workers. Warren is calling out ESL for predatory practices. Her history is supporting workers not the 1/10th of 1%. That is a fact.

I have 40K shares and $17K invested in Sears so I'd like to see them succeed. Additional orders are in the system based on what transpires soon.

I bought them as Sears holds a special place with my family and I hate to see the company go under.

ESL like DT is in it for himself. That's why there is so much pushback to a deal that should fly through without all the prior baggage and personal morality concerns. He will use workers like DT uses American idiots to get what he wants which is more $$$ for himself. Enough is never enough.

Just want to keep it real.

Warren - not off to a good start for a run to 2020 IMO. By not supporting Ed/Sears' rescue plan and bashing it, she instead is ultimately supporting 40,000 jobs possibly being eliminated. To be fair, yes some have already lost their jobs due to the closures but what can be saved should be saved especially with that many jobs at stake. Way to go to, please don't run Warren.

I get it, Ed isn't the unicorn CEO but his rescue plan (and I will continue to preach this until Sears becomes a non-profit 501c3 or we banish capitalism) is what is appropriate to maximize current shareholder/stakeholder value. Biz 101.

My understanding is that the buy out deal is for 450 stores, remaining stores, 300 would go under chapter 11 or 7 if they are gonna liquidate. Couldn't they use those assets to pay off all the creditors. All of the posts I have read never really touch on those remaining stores. just curious of anyone knows what's up with them.
