I'm stuck at .62
Anyone planning on holding for back to dollar land or is everyone getting out now that it popped? Amazon could take this BIG.
You are out of luck. It will never see $125 again.
Courts are closed with this virus. There is one last pop here. I can feel it! I can't wait to get out of this stock oh my god. Please just go to where I purchased it and im out!
It does nothing for Sears. It only benefits Simon Malls.
How is all this going to help their case? I’m holding 10K shares. Glad I didn’t sell.
Why the pop mid afternoon ?
BOOM! Apparently people like the idea....
This has been the best Monday in a long time...
Amazon trucks with Amazon signs are at my sears. How long has this been going on?
I just read this article and came to this board to confirm
Amazon said to be in talks to use old J.C. Penney, Sears stores for fulfillment https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/09/amazon-wants-to-use-jc-penney-stores-as-fulfillment-centers---report.html?__source=iosappshare%7Ccom.apple.UIKit.activity.CopyToPasteboard

Huge news out on Wall Street Journal this afternoon. Going up Monday.
LOL they are begging for bids - the last one leaves senior creditors with 50% recovery and nothing for commons. You would never hear that from the pumpers.
"... coronavirus keeps hitting retailers hard"

Administrative fees include bookkeeping, auditing as well as legal costs. Very expensive, and adding up with each day this case drags on.
When will BK case be closed, 2020 or 2021?
My guess would be no sooner than 2022. In fact, I believe, SHLDQ will be declared "administratively insolvent" (due to lawyer fees of $50-100M each year) before it is closed. In that case, this BK case will probably be converted to a Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
all imo
You think so?? LOL
Sears and KMart stores slowly disappearing/closing.

Maybe they will go public in a fresh company and then buy
Would love to buy the real estate
Is this going to emerge from bankruptcy. I thought this was done
LOL...Dead in the water...no engine, no paddles. Sad, really
He is Judge overseeing JCP's C11 filings to date. it was reply to another in here about JCP Judge which I answered. That is all...
Who the heck is "Judge Jones"?
Judge in this case is Robert Drain:
SO ORDERED:
/s/Robert D. Drain
THE HONORABLE ROBERT D. DRAIN
UNITED STATED BANKRUPTCY JUDGE
Dated: June 9, 2020
White Plains, New York
NOPE jim, rad what I and others posted fro months. Look & listen to recent court hearings fool...
Get Ready Folks.. For all we know, For all we know, Wal-Mart could step in to buy Sears IF AMA=ZN goes after JCP...Or even AMZN could come calling If Sycamore Partners snag JCP...
SHLDQ & JCPQ RIP COMMONS
It is gone IMHO. Just too much out there today in form of repeated retailers and Amazon entirely changed backdrop.
JCP however, due to some miraculous last minute changes in their legal situation, will see the largest and oldest brick & mortar survive, as there is no longer room for multiple "anchor stores" in malls as always used to be for decades, and JCP only one set to stay put in that position. Many other retailers still going to be gone, many are small or boutique places.
Anyone else see a technical swing trade opportunity possible?
What is your opinion on the future of this stock? You think sears can make a come back and grow again? Or is it just slowly bleeding out?
jimr1717, I have been involved in the court hearings/proceedings and listen to every word from Judge Jones which anyone publicly can read/hear on PrimeClerk.com site as Judge so ordered available...
Maybe they can use the catalog for toilet paper
Maybe read the filings sometime and learn why they file bankruptcy
Oh that's funny . . . you should become a bankruptcy attorney.
NO they are not. read my court docket postings now and changes since May 28th court date as well as Shareholder Equity Committee formation going on. Judges demanded to hear from all Shareholders, as JCP filing, under C11 requirements, does not qualify them to file for any BK protections- because they were not insolvent at any time prior said filing...
