What makes you think that?
I'm hoping to see a manufacturing partnership soon. And updated the GeoTraq website.
Let's get going!!
That's very interesting, although I hate the word expect and still have a very negative opinion of Matula for good reason, the more info makes me more comfortable. The key is always the same. Can they market any of their products. Tracking by cell may offer advantages to GPS for any number of applications.
"Tim Matula, SPYR CEO, commented: "We acquired significant intellectual property rights when we acquired GeoTraq, including the patented GeoTraq technology, that will position us into a sizable market ready to embrace IoT devices able to locate, monitor and track the movement of inventory, and a wide variety of other assets including the ability to monitor connected sensors. We expect to invest, manufacture, market and successfully leverage this technology for the benefit of our shareholders.”"
Got some info today regarding GeoTraq technology.
Their technology uses the cell phone network for tracking as opposed to GPS.
This is the GeoTraq differentiator.

Looking for major progress with this tracking endevor. Price points and capability should make this an easy sell.
What exactly does Geo Traq technology do? Is it a better battery, or is it smaller and finally, are there any contracts or revenues? Just posting links to empty announcements by the company tells us nothing.
IoT for Gun Control
Real Problems Require Real Solutions.
The South African police force found many of their guns ending up in the hands of warlords, with no solution to track or recover the lost and stolen property. GeoTraq modules are the only solution small enough to fit in the handgrips and provide global coverage at a price that makes real business sense.
Problem…
A national porta potty company needed to track 200,000 assets to monitor inventory and optimize labor for maintenance services.
Solution
GeoTraq Mobile IoT modules use existing cellular infrastructure to provide a solution that didn’t previously exist. Equipped with a 10+ year supply of battery life, GeoTraq modules support remote monitoring and transmission of sensor data to locate assets and efficiently communicate their service needs.
Going to look into this further.
Sounds good.
This product might have legs. Still need to find out more regarding how their solution compares to others in the market.
Check out the website.

"In less than 5 minutes, GeoTraq turned Go Puck battery packs into smart, connected IoT devices.
The average IoT deployment today takes 12 months, 10 vendors, and several complex technology components. When Go Puck had a desire to create intelligent battery packs for their customers; small, simple, quick and easy were among the top priorities.
By implementing GeoTraq’s technology into the existing Go Puck hardware they were able to test their IoT enabled device around the world in days instead of months."

With no information there's no reason to think they're doing any better with this iteration.Yea iteration. Wonder what the next pipe dream will be?
No sales no revenues.
Geotraq doesn’t go any better then when it was under JANone.
Pierre Parent failed with JANone, this is failing again...
Tell us about product sales and revenue not bs. In reality how long does it take for a nothing company to progress from value destruction, no income to a progressive profit making self sufficient organization/company. Usually much longer than most people are willing to tie up their money for, with only losses. After all how long ago did they announce the security products, (which I thought were good products and were merely going to remarket) but knew it would never sell enough quick enough to make any difference to fulfill their future looking statements. Bush leaguers and right now money manipulators. Smells like Joe and crew doesn't it?
Randy, did you sell all your stock?

GeoTraq’s Recently Completed Suite of IoT Asset Management Tools Now Viable in Most Industry Verticals
THE WOODLANDS, TX, Aug. 04, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NewMediaWire - SPYR, INC. (OTCQB: SPYR), a diversified technology company developing products leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) for consumer use and large-scale applications and industries, is pleased to announce its wholly owned subsidiary GeoTraq has now completed a full suite of Mobile IoT asset management tools that it believes can create significant Return on Investment (RO) for enterprise customers in most every industry vertical.
GeoTraq’s ultra small tracker simply allows customers to deploy what it believes are the smartest, most connected technological accounting and monitoring devices within the IoT, uniquely scalable due to a proprietary blend of affordability, compatibility and efficiency offered under the GeoTraq label.
Lost assets cost money, and lots of it. In addition, asset loss is also costly in terms of time, labor, and even creditability. Invariably, the problem crosses all sectors, from overseas medical device manufacturers to national and local furniture retailers which lose upwards of $5 million annually during overland shipments. Reports indicate that the industry is on its way to 267 million active RFID and by 2027 covering industrial automation, logistics, supply chain, agriculture, construction, mining and related markets.
With its recent refinement and completion of its state-of-the-art product line, GeoTraq firmly believes it offers the most robust suite of Mobile IoT Modules for Asset Tracking that go virtually anywhere, track almost anything and eliminate some of the most significant barriers to deployment.
Vehicles, parts, boxes, pallets, people, equipment, furniture, etc, and GeoTraq Mobile IoT modules can now be tracked globally and affordably. GeoTraq’s penny-sized Tracker-Modules can report location data as well as sensor information using NB-IoT and LTE-M technology anywhere there is cellular coverage.
“GeoTraq is now well-positioned to drastically change the ways companies are viewing Asset Management,” stated Pierre Parent, GeoTraq’s Chief Technology Officer. “As we significantly reduce the size and cost of our Tracker modules, the universe of assets that will be tracked grows simultaneously and exponentially.”
GeoTraq’s patented technology intelligently transmits small packets of data at scheduled times or for trigger-based events – such as your asset entering or leaving a geofence, or dangerous temperatures thresholds. Almost any type of sensor can be attached to our modules, bringing unparallelled flexibility to the implementation of asset tracking solutions. The global costs of lost assets are staggering – but an IoT asset tracking solution needn’t be. GeoTraq IoT modules for asset tracking power solutions you can rely on for security and speed, at a cost that can drive true ROI across the supply chain.
“Entirely new categories of assets will be tagged that are lower in value and size and we are already working with companies on disposable tracking tags that will be discarded along with the packaging and wrappers,” added Parent. “Frankly, this level of scalable, easily integrated system is revolutionary."

The numbers for a trade even look better today. Can this go to .10?An after thought, if MMs agree on future trades that's manipulating a mkt. Very hard to prove. At .10 I'd be tempted to see if it would go higher. I'm weak too but if the mkt was strong and told me it could be higher, I'd have to think twice.
325,000 on the sell side. .015 something was just too tempting to pass up. Stock has traded up to .022 or higher. There was a lot more than .005 in many of these trades but if 500k to 1million shares are involved $5000 could be made. If only $2500 is made, that's a trade I'd make every week. Now if management or insiders are involved that may be another issue. I don't know if it's illegal but it's something to think about especially consider which MMs are involved etc. Smells like Joe and crew.
Can I get a dime out of this piece of crap?
Randy, do you still have 400k shares or did you buy more? ho hum
SPYR has been trading somewhere between ho hum to discouraging for the last while. Today there was some more aggressive buying and the price moved up a little.
I’ve given up prognosticating what anything anything might mean anymore.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Further more, if you really think this stock will be successful or just think these fools can make it go up a little, the best way to buy it is highly leveraged so better to take a shot cheaper. Even these bums at SPYR might make a correct move or put out a news release so over the top but believable that all the internet amateur traders buy this thing in size. All I need is a dime. Remember, 100k shares with a 10 cent profit is 10k dollars. I know some of you big time traders out there think that's not enough profit but really, it's not supposed to be a career. Even Fiore and his clone Matula might be able to put a dime in this thing. That's why under a penny is better. Sretch your money.
Opened at .017 traded down to .016, LS is .016. MKT is now .016 bid with 370,500 shares overhanging the market at .017. Well, what does that tell you? Who's to buy this stock at .017. If someone thinks .017 is the cheapest, maybe but if anyone smells .01 or sub penny .017 doesn't look cheap. Over hang is over hang.
This morning I called telephone number at bottom of their news release page with all their contact info labeled "let's talk." The number was not in service.
Why was I not surprised, typical, they don't want to speak to shareholders or the pubic. Matula is a Fiori clone. Stock at .017. Do I hear sub penny?
Didn't close at .015 yet but did close at .0171. Did I hear someone say sub penny?
Wait! Did I hear someone say sub-penny?
HEAVILY PROMOTED SPYR GOING DOWN
GEOTRAQ technology failed to penetrate the market
200k plus shares overhang this market at .02 best bid and LS .0184. If everything is equal this pig could/should close at .015. The treasury cash impresses no one because management has demonstrated in the past it's their private bank. They do not think enough of share holders to let them know what's going on. Why is the "book keeper" taking home 350k and stock for doing nothing for 10 or 15 years? Why, because he's Waggoner's best friend and henchman. Dare I say the same applies to Waggoner.
The small size and low power consumption of the GEO Traq modules might give SPYR a niche in this technology.

SPYR Technologies
THE WOODLANDS, TX, July 07, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NewMediaWire – SPYR, INC. (OTCQB: SPYR), a diversified technology company developing products leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) for consumer use and large-scale applications and industries is pleased to announce developments for its recent acquisition GeoTraq.
Polte Corporation, the leader in advanced Cloud Location over Cellular (C-LoC) technology, and GeoTraq Inc., a Mobile IoT module manufacturer and connectivity provider, are pleased to confirm a collaboration to embed Polte location technologies into two new GeoTraq NB-IoT/ LTE-M modules: the Tracker-Module GT-TM100 and Sensor-Module GT-SM100.
Polte’s C-LoC location solution enables GeoTraq to eliminate the need for GPS / GNSS radios by leveraging globally available Mobile IoT (NB-IoT and LTE-M) networks. In addition to providing wide-area outdoor coverage from rural to dense urban, Polte’s location solution enables highly-accurate tracking indoors, even when objects are inside vehicles or in shipping containers. Polte’s cloud-based secure from chip-to-cloud software solution enables unprecedented reach for locating things wherever they are.
GeoTraq’s Tracker-Module GT-TM100 is designed specifically for low-cost asset tracking and other location-based intelligent use cases. The module’s ultra-small 16 x 12 mm form factor allows it to be incorporated into almost any existing or new battery powered machine, tool, or product to provide intelligent insights.
GeoTraq’s Sensor-Module GT-SM100 offers the fastest, most secure, and efficient Mobile IoT connectivity. The GT-SM100 includes both an eSIM and connectors for easy attachment of antennas, batteries, and a variety of sensors, including temperature, flow, pressure, humidity, motion, acceleration, and more. The Sensor-Module GT-SM100 operates by transmitting small packets of data for scheduled reports or trigger-based event alerts, which GeoTraq expects will be configured using the GeoTraq’s WebTraq™ portal and integrated to the customer’s choice of IoT platforms for visualization.
Polte CEO Ed Chao explained, “We see a huge market opportunity for low-cost, battery powered IoT asset trackers across many industry verticals from shipping & transportation to manufacturing to tracking everyday objects. We are at the very beginning of what is possible with Mobile IoT.”
“Polte’s positioning technologies together with GeoTraq’s innovative Mobile IoT modules deliver on the promise of the Internet of Things. The most common everyday objects will now be able to connect at an extremely low cost with very low power,” added Chao.
GeoTraq Chief Technology Officer and 30-year wireless industry veteran, Pierre Parent, stated, “We have been working with Polte for over a year and they have a superior technology for adding location services to our small, low-cost line of Mobile IoT modules. We believe that the business world has not fully grasped the changes that are occurring in the tracking industry and the advancements that positioning on the LTE radio channel will provide. Historical tracking solutions use GPS, which adds $3–$4 in extra component costs and produces a significant drain on the battery life. If your goal is to build a disposable tracking tag for less than $10 to monitor critical materials and packages while they are in the mail, GPS is a non-starter. It’s too bulky, expensive, and probably won’t work indoors. Polte resolves these problems for us, allowing GeoTraq to produce a low-cost module with enhanced location positioning technology.”
About Polte:
Polte, the innovator of Cloud Location over Cellular (C-LoC) technology, provides disruptive, low-cost indoor and outdoor IoT location solutions that empower enterprises with unprecedented, real-time visibility into all the things that matter. Leveraging global 4G and 5G cellular signals, Polte transforms what is possible with asset tracking by driving heightened accessibility and greater speed to ROI for supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and a wide range of other sectors. Why is this technology obsolete?
The news releases of June 28 and 29 were very helpful in explaining the new product. I may have to apologize for my criticism of the new PR company and am willing to say so if wrong. Never the less, it remains to be seen. Seems to me the new product has potential and actually sounds cool to me. For the first time the news releases were honest and realistic regarding earnings by showing earnings are off a year or so. I also think there are some applications of this tech that might also excite the imagination of the investors beyond the revenue potential of deals with large broad application customers. Another factor is the significance of the product. Do other people make the same product, what's the competition? Is the product significant to SPYR and Company? Finally, everything depends on the managements ability to sell product/implement sales. So far they have proven worthless and deceitful.
