RTRAF..Article Sept 27 2012
The Ridgeway project covers a prospective area of the Carolina Slate Belt (CSB) located along strike to the east of Rio Tinto’s past producing Ridgeway gold mine. The Ridgeway mine produced approximately 1.5 million ounces of gold between 1988 and 1998 and is the second largest known gold deposit in the CSB, second to Romarco Minerals’ Haile gold mine, located 50 kilometres (30 miles) to the northeast. Strongbow’s Midway gold project is located adjacent to the Haile mine, within the 16 kilometre (10 mile) Haile-Brewer gold trend. The Haile mine is currently at the permitting stage with current measured and indicated resources reported by Romarco of 4.0 million ounces gold with additional inferred resources of 0.8 million ounces gold.

RTRAF..Did call the Company yesterday at Hailes Mine site to see if I needed an appointment to visit. The nice lady that answered the phone told me the person I need to speak with is David Thomas,(VP&GM at Hailes) but Mr Thomas was in board meetings all week. Being informed of the board meetings all week changed my focus. I ask how often they have these board meeting she stated once a year. I ask her how everyone and the mine was doing, she stated everyone was well and confident about future progress. The board meeting are being held at the Haile Gold Mine Fortmill office.
Hopefully I here from Mr. Thomas soon I have a few more ? now. Although I know they want tell me anything about the board meetings, maybe we'll get a news update. 1c
RTRAF..I also read County Council Sept 10 approved 3rd reading of ordinance 1155 rezoning and expansion of The Haile Gold Mine. I think thats done.

RTRAF Must Read DD..Lancaster County Council Minutes
and Agendas. Read ordinance 1155 1157 1160. So far I've only read
June 25,/July,9/Aug,27/Sept,10/Sept,24. This has to do with rezoning, taxes, and to change some difinitions of mining on there books. On the Aug 27,pg64 doc Hailes recieves approval to move a old cemetery. Imo County Council, Romarco & Hailes are very confident of this project moving forward. 1c

(RTRAF)0.952 beautiful close . Not sure the why but Gold is $1700 oz makes the gold in the ground worth more lol. Other than that I,ll be investigating. 1c
no news, wha hap?
lift off !
I think RTRAF will get the go ahead,, when? Who Knows! But I also expect dilution to fund the project. No use sending me a PM btw...
says it right in your post.... fwiw.
they will dilute about a $100 million.. so, if we take them at their word... at .75 that would be about 134 million shares - not bad really... If the ultimate market cap is 3 to 7 billion dollars...
That seems reasonable, if they can yield that amount of gold. They have $93 million in the bank. this was posted on the waiting game article from Canuckle Head on the Waiting Game
"Since the federal announcement last year, equity financing for juniors has collapsed. Garrett doesn’t believe this will concern Haile unduly. “The capital cost of the project is only $320 million,” she points out. “There is a significant amount of interest from the banks for lending against the project. It’s high-grade and low cost, so it really is a unique asset in this area. We’re looking at bringing in the debt side of it over the next six months: roughly between $150 million and $200 million. The balance would be done in equity, but we wouldn’t need to do that until we get closer to the final permits coming in, which would be late 2Q 2013. We’re actually going to be one of the lowest capital-cost projects in the industry.”
Silver, Its hard to believe they are not going to raise capital through dilution. The question is how much and when. Also, what if the Government takes longer to grant the permits.
Thx,,
looking,,, I am long but don't want to be STUPID here,,,
if they dilute to a billion shares - what do we expect for a peak market cap ? They have over $7 billion of gold in ground....
so $7 / share possible????
Real quick, great call Silver on the bottom. I will be back in, once i get a clear picture of there finances. I still feel they might have raise capital to get them through the next year. Again, real nice call
turns quickly --
(says they will dilute about $100 million near production)
on current market cap of $438 million - 584 million shares at .75)
on
" a $930 million pretax net present value (NPV) "
say they end up with near a billion shares, looks like a dollar is about all this is worth.... Thoughts?

"Garrett has been on the road taking up Haile. “Romarco has $93 million in the bank. We’ve got 4.8 million ounces in a resource that is continuing to grow. We’ve got strong economics on the project; we’re not really sensitive to the price of gold; and we’ll generate a couple of hundred million a year of cashflow once we get up and running.”
Garrett concludes, “It’s such a strange environment we’re in with the complete disconnect between gold prices and equities. I would hope that we’ve seen the bottom…and every time I say that, another 13% comes off the stock. But I also know that when things like this turn in our market, it usually turns as quickly as we’ve seen it decline. Share prices seem to be fairly rangebound right now, and as you see trades within pretty tight ranges, that’s an indication to me that we may have found the bottom here. I don’t know how soon we’ll come out of it but certainly this has provided the new floor from which we’ll all move up once the sentiment changes.”
At press time, Romarco had 584.3 million shares trading at $0.60 for a market cap of $350.6 million.
The Waiting Game
Romarco Has a Big Resource and Low Costs But Lacks a Federal Permit
By Kevin Michael Grace
When Resource Clips first featured Romarco in September 2010, President/CEO Diane Garrett told us the first gold pour from its Haile Gold Mine would be in “late 2012.” By August 2011, that date had been pushed back to “early 2014.” Now she aims for “4Q 2014 or 1Q 2015.” These delays are the result of the most powerful force in mining. More powerful than resource, grade, infrastructure, financing or the verdict of the market: government regulation.
The Haile Mine comprises 2,335 hectares located outside Kershaw, South Carolina, 40 miles southeast of Charlotte. According to a February 2012 43-101 estimate, it boasts measured and indicated resources of 71.2 million tonnes grading 1.77 grams per tonne for 4,040,000 ounces and an inferred resource of 20.1 million tonnes grading 1.24 g/t for 801,000 ounces.

I have been trading this and missed this last bump. Need to average in. RTRAF may never see sub .50 again - or it may go to .35 - no way to tell,,,, so imho, average in for a long hold, is or will be, a wise move at some point. Plenty of time, I think, but I AM convinced this company will get the gold up in responsible fashion and be a big asset to SC as well as make early shareholders a lot better off..... glty
rtraf .49 .5 getting eat up great support here.Soon flippers won't have shares to buy, just a guess
All buys today but, the pps drops heres a link below

Diane R. Garrett, discusses the Haile Gold Mine
Silver maybe wishful thinking, but we have a good while until next year with no real catalyst to drive this stock. I see impatient people or groups selling and moving on. I think we can easily drift down on low volume. These days people are way too impatient to invest. Just my opinion. I am worried about lack of capital to carry them into next year. We will see. I agree to get in at $.50 is great to buy and tuck away
good call shot,,, that could hap but I think the half dollar range will hold up, fwiw
This will be a great buy as it drifts on the 30's range.
This still looks as good as ever with later timing, imho...
Will Accumulate / Trade later too, fwiw
It already has fallen hard - it would be stupid to issue now. The stock will be diluted at a much higher level than this. imho
No immediate need for CASH. When they get the ramp and pop from announce to proceed, they will sell more stock probably in the $2 pps range... glty
IMO, this is going to fall hard. They are going to need to raise capital again. Once they raise money I will buy again. I wouldn't be surprised to see something soon. I think we are going to see a huge drop
Romarco President Diane Garrett on SC Haile Gold Mine Permit Process
Romarco Minerals Inc TSX:R announced a permitting update for its Haile Gold Project in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The company has received a schedule from the US Army Corps of Engineers for completing the environmental impact statement for the Federal 404 Wetlands permit. The schedule is as follows:
Draft EIS to be filed by December 14, 2012
Draft EIS comment period begins December 14, 2012
Draft EIS Public Hearing to be held January 29, 2013
Draft EIS comment period ends February 28, 2013
Final EIS to be made public July 19, 2013
Record of Decision on permit to be made August 16, 2013

The Corps of Engineers is the federal agency regulating 404 permits. Other pending permits include the State 401 Water Quality Certification and the State Mine Operating permit. The regulating agency for these permits is the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. DHEC will schedule its public hearing following the filing of the draft EIS by the Corps.

Romarco receives EIS schedule from US Army Corps
(this removed the bid, fwiw)
05/23/2012
TORONTO, May 23, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSX: R) (the "Company") has received a schedule from the US Army Corps of Engineers ("Corps") for completing the Environmental Impact Statement ("EIS") for the Federal 404 Wetlands permit. The schedule is as follows:
• Draft EIS filed - December 14, 2012

• Draft EIS Public Hearing - January 29, 2013

• Final EIS made available to public - July 19, 2013
• Record of Decision on permit to be made - August 16, 2013
Diane Garrett, President & CEO commented: " While the Corps' schedule for completing the EIS and issuing its Record of Decision is longer than we have been targeting, that schedule provides clarity for our planning. We will continue to advance detailed design and engineering for the project, adjust equipment orders to align with the Corps' schedule, and diligently manage our cash as we advance one of the best undeveloped gold deposits in the world."
The Federal 404 Wetlands permit is the only Federal permit Romarco requires for the Haile project. The Corps is the federal agency regulating 404 permits. Other pending permits include, but are not limited to, the State 401 Water Quality Certification and the State Mine Operating permit; the regulating agency for these permits is the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control ("DHEC"). DHEC has indicated that it will schedule its public hearing for the State permits following the filing of the Draft EIS by the Corps.

Romarco Aims For a 2014 Gold Pour
By Ted Niles
To say that Romarco Minerals Inc TSX:R is making the best of a bad situation is true enough but misleading. The US Army Corps of Engineers’ July requirement of an Environmental Impact Statement on the Haile Gold Mine was a nuisance, no question, but it doesn’t affect the fundamentals. As President and CEO Diane Garrett says, “The project still stands, in my opinion, as one of the most significant and highest quality assets in the industry. We’re in a great jurisdiction, and the grade is almost twice what it is with any other open pit in North America or anywhere.”
Romarco is taking full advantage of the 12-month delay. “We’ve got a lot of guys on the team that aren’t too disappointed,” Garrett remarks. “We spent the first half of this year doing infill drilling because we thought we’d be mining at the end of the year. When we got the EIS news, we focused everything on step-out drilling. We’re spending a lot of time drilling on Horseshoe and Palomino.”
