Was looking at John McFadden's form 4. He has been selling (disposing) of his shares. Not 1 accumulation on the form. If a company's mgmt is selling, then typically it is a sign of further price deterioration. Any comments on why all sells.

Not much on the bid side holding this up. Some selling can put this into a free-fall. It has gone from 3.50 to .42 in 6 or so months.

Good things come in threes. Think: Monster well.

Baker Hughes thinks their Liberty well near Nephi UT is a "monster." They have established that the field is hyrdocarbon saturated, a mixture of oil and gas. Production is tricky, but they are trying to prove out 50MM bbls.

The Mancos shale play is about to pop. They put together a large land play and sold 95% of one 20K acre block to a deep pocketed independent that specializes in shale. They kept the best acreage for themselves. Again, this play is saturated. The fist step is to reenter a well (to 11K ft.) that was drilled back in the early 1990s and then abandoned when the wellbore partly collapsed. The IP in the original drill, if I recall, was about 700 bopd. That's what they're expecting. The company will have about 150 locations when drilling commmences later this summer. The Mancos in this region is comparable to the Bakken.

Sources say they have had great luck with their mature fields in WY and KS. Overall, I'm guessing, current production is 100-200 bopd. They have a lot of locations with probables and proven non-producing. The value of their production alone would sell for four times their market cap. Time to be discovered.

Interesting back story. I have known the group for a few years but didn't see the prior attempts.

The key in my opinion as I stated in previous posts is that it needs to showcase a development schedule in KS that will allow the company to demonstrate ability to build cash flows.

I like to make my money behind the drill bit as you can tell.

@WD - I don't recall the conversation. Regardless Chairman Gaines seems to be a strong seat to helm the direction of the company.

Utah is has the potential of becoming one of the next big booms but it is very much under the radar. The short term upside I see is linked to their ability to develop additional production from their Kansas position.

Care to share your thoughts on the value catalyst that will drive the market value?

Still looking. The last few times this group attempted to take the assets public failed and ended up in a long drawn out lawsuits. One was recently settled, the other is still pending with these guys.

@seaohtoo - saw these guys on their last road show through Houston. Like most junior players they over price hoping for a run and the shell groups and related just sell into the program until the market finds a fair valuation.

I like their basket of assets but even at $.85 I'm not sure there is a considerable amount of upside in the short term other then, as you pointed out a promotion of sorts but those are always short lived in my opinion.

What is your position here and what do you see as the short term catalyst?

Richfield Oil & Gas Company ("Richfield" or the "Company"), announced that it has placed its Wasatch National Forest #16-15 well in Uinta County, Wyoming into production. Production commenced on March 29, and is currently producing approximately 35 barrels of oil per day. Production equipment and rates will be optimized over the next two weeks. The company is planning additional completion work on this well in the early fall of this year. This will include a completion and fracture treatment of the Frontier Formation. The Frontier Formation production will be added to the current production rates.

The well and the acreage were acquired by the Company in December of 2012. The Company owns an 80% working interest and a 62.4% net revenue interest in the well and a 100% working interest and a 78% net revenue interest in the surrounding acreage.

Douglas C. Hewitt, Sr., Chairman and CEO of Richfield stated, "We are excited to imitate production on one of our four Rocky Mountain properties. This production is accretive to cash flow, which will enable the Company to accelerate develop our core Kansas properties and continue to move forward our Central Utah plans. The Company remains committed to build stockholder value."

Is this another go-around for Hewitt? I recall they had their own stock that went sub-penny, then teamed-up with Neuhaus (TXHG), and NTOG.

NTOG is suing Hewitt and TXHG settled with Neuhaus. I remember that Hewitt was also in the TXHG lawsuit.

Does anyone know the ticr of the old Hewitt stock or was that resurrected into ROIL?
