I wonder who started the positive rumors on 3/15?
Wonder if Shaw will keep buying now that the 5th Circuit has ruled against RVP? Should be interesting to see. If he does, then something else is in the works rather than his possibly banking on winning at the 5th Circuit. I hope his buys keep going through.
Trading has resumed. Currently down 5.99%. The decision actually came out yesterday.
In short, it says RVP won't get a dime from BD.

Retractable Technologies, Inc. Reports on Fifth Circuit Opinion
March 27, 2019 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time
LITTLE ELM, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Retractable Technologies, Inc. (“Retractable”) (NYSE American: RVP) announced today that on March 26, 2019, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the district court’s finding which had determined that neither disgorgement of profits nor further injunctive relief should be granted to Retractable in its case against Becton, Dickinson and Company (“BD”), despite finding that BD falsely advertised its products for years. Retractable is evaluating this ruling and conferring with legal counsel regarding possible future action.
Retractable manufactures and markets VanishPoint® and Patient Safe® safety medical products and the EasyPoint® needle. The VanishPoint® syringe, blood collection, and IV catheter products are designed to prevent needlestick injuries and product reuse by retracting the needle directly from the patient, effectively reducing exposure to the contaminated needle. Patient Safe® syringes are uniquely designed to reduce the risk of bloodstream infections resulting from catheter hub contamination. The EasyPoint® is a retractable needle that can be used with luer lock syringes, luer slip syringes, and prefilled syringes to give injections. The EasyPoint® needle also can be used to aspirate fluids and for blood collection. Retractable's products are distributed by various specialty and general line distributors.

Yes, I know he has been buying , and I wish I bought as many as he did, but I was wondering if there was anything more that is upcoming and driving this
Woo! Mine just sold for $1 and I wasn't even expecting it yet! Musta just shot up out of the blue. Woo woo!
Looking good! Let’s see that $1 test
I wouldn't even begin to speculate on their intentions. But you are right, you don't often see good ones behind the scenes, at least not good for shareholders. I put more stock in chart movement, history of splits, short history vs. long history, odds of bouncing to my sell point, and other factors
I’ve read the co files it’s just simple instead doing a shelf insiders loading at these levels these guys Habe good intentions you don’t see that now adays
If you scroll back through the message board, people have speculated
New here but I’m gonna give this a month here what’s the story with Shawn keeps buying
Did the autobuys stop? Shaw's last autobuy was on 1/16, thirteen days ago.
Slow but steady climb since Aug/Sep 2016. And Shaw is continuing to auto-buy.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=RVP&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p04644058220
I think it’s ready
Looking good, way to stick with it.
Shaw still going strong. Still has his autobuys set. 11/27, 11/28, 11/29, 11/30, 12/1, and 12/4 adding stock.
They've been around awhile with ups and downs. But even in the downs, they've never done an R/S. Right now they're about as low as they've ever been. They hit bottom one time before in 2009, and then started climbing up over the course of the next six years to hit $5.70 in 2015 from the .43 of 2009.
After that it went down again. I believe it will go back up. I'm not planning to stick around for six years looking for the great heights. I'll be perfectly happy to hold out for a few dimes more per share :D
He kicked off 2017 by buying 2 million shares in January. And another 1 million on August 23. After that he set it up to automatically buy shares, although the amounts vary radically. Starting October 23, it looks as though he's buying in every single day, or close to it.
As to his motives, it's pure speculation.
I'm speculating on a profit from this stock. Your results may differ
All of these buys since January
have been classified as "Voting or Investment Control(3)", potential voting rights and de-facto control or Tenure voting, greater than one share one vote. Often used to hold off hostile takeovers and also used in ways that are not shareholder friendly.
Not all insider buying is a 'happy clappy' affair and should be viewed with eyes wide open ...as usual.
11/7: Thomas Shaw buys again! More insider buys on 11/6 and 11/7. He's not buying all at once, he's buying in small quantities almost every day. So I ask again: What's he up to? What does he know?
11/3: And Shaw buys MORE. Three days in a row. Added to the days before. What's he up to?
10/30: MORE insider buying. Thomas Shaw has been filing Insider Buy forms all week long.
