You should report them to the FSA
Regds,
Pete.
I was approached by knobel Lynch (Geneva)last year. Was speaking with an Irish chap (Eamon something or other I think) All sounded reasonable so I (against my better judgement)invested the minimum they would take (about £1800) They tried to get me to invest more at that stage, but didn't push it. The settlement was by Bank transfer to a Barclays Account in Jersey, so I thought it was all above board.
However was approached afterwards by a very pushy individual called Matthew Price who wanted me to invest 5 or 10K at that time of which I flatly refused, and I knew then I had been had.
However have received a package last week with a new stock certificate (after their stock split) with copy of company accounts etc. This appears all to be genuine, but I am struggling to find someone who can sell this. I contacted Royal Petroleum( trough their Web site) and got a reply back from a royalpetro@gmail.com (would have expected a name@royalpetro.com address or soemthing more relevant) with a list of brokers who will deal this for me. I ahve contacted a couple of them but have not had any response as of yet, so am back to thinking this is all very, very fishy.....I use Internaxx in Luxembourg to manage my portfolio and they want this stock converted into electronic format before they will deal with this, so I am still struggling to ascertain exactly what position I am in...Anyone got any ideas or suggestions.

I could claim the same thing, nice try. You dont post much you have never posted on IHUB before.
I normally do not post much but when I googled "RYLP" the Investor’s Hub came up top, so had a read.
I had been cold called several times (by a company based in Geneva) a while ago regarding this stock prior to floatation on the Frankfurt exchange and asked for some literature. I’m in the oil industry and Hydro Slotting is not new, it’s been around for a while and called Water Injection in other parts of the world. They were also short on volumes and the spread (it is trading in Toronto?) and who was underwriting the flotation. I said I was not interested.
Yesterday I was called by the boss of the company based in Geneva asking why I did not buy, hinting that as they had taken the trouble to send the prospectus I should have jumped at the chance. He had a domineering attitude, compared the stock to Microsoft and would not listen to what I had to say. Hence my sceptical outlook on this stock.
Has anyone tried to sell RYLP?
ZEE I got to hand it to you. Your first post on I hub and you post on a gray sheet stock, that only a hand full of people know about. Who are you trying to kid.
Have been sent a prospectus for Royal Petroleum so did a little research particularly on scams as it was a cold call. The company that called was based in Geneva and as you know the listing is supposed to be on Frankfurt exchange. Came accross this thread on Motley Fool below.

Thanks sm290754, I am close to your situation but haven't yet parted with my cash need to decide rather soon. The guy selling - based in Frankfurt of course - says 5 biz days to send the certs. Did you pay diect to their Montreal bank or used a broker/intermediary? And may I ask if you're US based? (just because I'm not). Thanks in advance.
"Shared info is twice the value, share it more, still more"
This is really useful info - what I did not say previously was that I made a small investment in ROYAL PETROLEUM to check out the adviser/escrow agent bona fides etc - Still waiting for share certificate after 5 weeks and so at moment I would say treart any RYLP offer with great caution
If anyone can prove me wrong then I would be delighted
Cheers
Couldn't tell ya really, but these guyz appear to be holding the purse strings. Tie in's with many companies and technologies.

OK chaps, this is more or less what you wanted to know. I was contacted by people trying, in fact to introduce me to this company. Being a broker, I checked the introducing companies for this and it appeared initially not to be listed on the NASDAQ OTC´s although appearing there, this is ultimately unusual but not unheard of. I could not contact current market makers as they are no operating. So, I contacted the relevant people and it is being issued as an IPO, which explains the situation - at least in Europe, with correct legal share certification and it does appear to be doing all the right things.
Based on reports in relation to this it seems they are looking for a listing around February and there does exist a secondary market for this at the moment, and there where trades made – perhaps why it appears on reporting pages. I can confirm therefore it is an IPO and available.
There are PDF´s of info provided by various companies who are promoting this and I did a little extra digging. However, this is more or less what seems to be provided.
With over 200 stripper wells with a reserve accumulation of 21.84 million barrels in a proven oil reserve, being introduced to their newly developed NCO2 technology within Royal Petroleum, expected to achieve 90% of their original extraction potential. With a further 125 wells to rework, and the very recent additional 34 recently acquired being reintroduced at a rate of 2 per month.
The technology is made up of Nitrogen Carbon Oxide injected in existing or dried wells to increase the pressure and increase production. This is by no means anything new, all the big players use this when they need to and BIGN obviously are no stranger to it either.
If I had to draw between the lines I would say that this is a larger version of BIGN who are not exploring wells and extracting oil from the few they have, but bringing their current wells and any other joint ventures. I would also assume that the reason that they state around 22 million barrels is that because maybe 50 of them are JV´s they cannot stringently define their holding, but can bank on around that amount. They also appear to be well funded. Now if oil prices remain high (come on) I should imagine that a listing on the Frankfurt would be a way to add liquidity to this company from a market perspective and to try and force a strong financial position to allow them to drill all their wells at about 80% capacity. If you consider that they are also developing stripper wells which generally have about 40% of their previous oil left and the reserves they are stating then this company may well be worth a closer look.
If you chaps and find anything more on this then I would be great to know. It’s amazing that BIGN has so much coverage…really is, and by the way BIGN will fly once it releases it’s next press release, we will see it at the regions of .04 again easily.
I really have not got a clue - although I own other stock my portfolio is not extensive and it consists only of FTSE 350 shares
why you? Are you a holder ofother related companies?
royal petroleum - I have been offered 40,000 shares at $1.35 - any thoughts - is it too good to be true or am I likely to get ripped off - any other shareholders out there have a ciew

Re: RYLP developments
Much has been said on this board about the BIGN-RYLP relationship, and it has been speculated that RYLP is the entity financing the ET LOI.
The big question is then: is RYLP raising the necessary funds to finance the deal?
Yesterday I got confirmation that they are, from an unexpected source...
Here's the story:
A couple of years ago I invested in a private placement of Access Devices (Pinksheets: ACDJ), a company operating in the booming IPTV sector. To cut a long story short, the shares are currently worthless and I'm stuck with my certificate. Nothing exceptional about that in Pinkyland. However, yesterday I got, out of the blue, a telephone call from a brokerage company in Frankfurt. They told me they had learned that I am a shareholder in ACDJ and offered me a proposal that would allow me to recover my original investment in ACDJ, at least partially: I could give them my certificate as partial payment for unrestricted shares in a company to be listed shortly on the Frankfurt exchange. "And the name of that company is?" I asked. "Royal Petroleum" came the answer. I went on to verify that this is our little RYLP, and indeed it is. The gentleman on the line gave me the following details on the offer:
- Current price offer - $2.05 per share
- Planned listing price - $3.10 per share
- Current O/S – 100M shares
He told me that the reason they are listing in Frankfurt is that shares can be offered without any restriction period.
He couldn't give me much more info than the above, explaining that he is just a salesman, but promised to get me on to someone who apparently is more knowledgeable. I'm expecting another phone call today and also some material in the mail/e-mail.
This may explain, at least in part, the delay in completing the ETLOI.
Royal Pete traded today, up .30 to $3.10/s. Don't know on what exchange it took place. Frankfurt? TYEG has done this several times also. Very interesting.

Does anyone know anyone who has purchased shares in Royal Petroleum? They are about to float on the Frankfurt Exchange ...
Does anyone now anyone who has purchased shares in Royal Petroleum? They are about to float on the Frankfurt Exchange ...
Royal has re-focused its business plan:
A couple of months ago, Royal announced it had acquired 30 odd wells in Oklahoma and that this was a step to the next level or milestone in its development. But that acquisition must have been, or has now become a JV in light of this December PR by WWOG:
December 6, 2006
FARMINGTON, N.M., Dec 6, 2006 (PrimeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) --
WW Energy Inc. (Pink Sheets:WWNG) subsidiary WW Oil and Gas Inc. has been granted full operational rights of the recently acquired oil wells located in Oklahoma. This is a significant and strategic step as the Company begins the re-completion of the wells. Of the 32 wells, 2 are completed and producing. WW Oil and Gas will implement the newly purchased oil rig and equipment to commence re-completion of the remaining 30 wells. The equipment will cut costs and should expedite production. The Company will report on progress from the Oklahoma Oil Fields as it becomes available.
****************************************************************
Royal did not have the rig needed to re-complete at least 28 wells. But WWO&G did have the rig. And a few posters have mentioned that Skip Taylor has been reported to be in Oklahoma lately. HSC or on his own, one of the two may be needed on those wells.
Most important, Royal has been the operator in JV with the East Texas oil company BIGN was hoping to purchase, along with 70 employees and some rigs to re-complete 150 wells in Texas and drill some new wells in West Texas. The 11/17/06 BIGN PR seems to indicate that it will not be able to buy all the assets itself but rather become a JV with Royal who will continue to operate the property described on the Royal website. Maybe the BIGN/Royal combination will produce the financing needed to re-complete those low production 150 wells and drill some new ones in West Texas = options #2 & #3 in the May 2006 BIGN PR about the East Texas LOI.
additional bonhomme stuff:
Mr. Bonhomme is an experienced oil and gas executive having over 25 years experience in the Ontario oil and gas industry. Prior to his position with Tyche Energy, he was the founder and President of Tipperary Resources Ltd. an independent oil and gas producer and predecessor of Paladin Petroleum orporation. Paladin Petroleum Corporation, formed in 1983, amalgamated with several public and private oil and gas companies to form PPC Oil & Gas Corporation.
Mr. Bonhomme served as President of PPC until 1987. Mr. Bonhomme has been involved in numerous public companies since 1987 including Explorers Alliance Inc. and is currently President, Bonclau Holdings Inc.
Getting a big hitter like Mr. Jean Claude Bonhomme as a special consultant confirms that RYLP will be the winner in the BIGN, RYLP, TYEG, SBRX, WWGN circle of companies. WWGN will be the fall guy judging by the heavy dilution of its shares. What will happen to BIGN? Most likely the same thing that happen to MRS Sciences....quietly fades into the background. All IMHO of course.
Very interesting development!! Guess he's NOT ready to retire yet!
Mr. Jean Claude Bonhomme...
Now, where have I heard that name?...
NEWS

I have to head to work now, but I will call them in an hour our two and see if they know Dave Haggarty.
You did some good digging there man!! You got a date on anything for that Wichita Falls address? Is the company "new" to the Texas RRC? If it is, it would seem possible that the Royal folks have set up shop here in Texas too. And Wichita Falls is a pretty solid place for being in the oil business here. If this is an old company, it may be a different entity and not related at all. So, good work & do you have any kind of date context for this find?
TIA
