Because the experts still don’t have their cultivation license
Good presentation... but why I can't see an orbital system that is actually growing plants is a big question. I wish I had some way to check these companies and find out. Basically I am ready to assume it may be a total scam as some posts claim. Next thing I have doubts about Wayland group too then since they are the one company they mention a contract with...for "C$44 million" in 2019....
Well there was a flash of some plants in an orbital system but then again they looked like perfectly manicured dense buds and the shot lasted about 2 seconds...
600-750K Canadian $ per week at the Edmonton facility alone based on producing 150K grams prodution per week. And that is very conservative based on $4-$5 per gram obtained, according to George. Very Nice video.
This is a very good video that gives much needed information, some of which refers to, and details the recent appointment of George as acting CEO of Bonify. Well worth your time watching. Cleared up my concerns nicely. Whereas, RavenQuests PR’s I find leaves more questions than substance this video is very informative. Watch
The whole video.

You have to dig a little deeper to evaluate the problems. It is mainly political. They spend years trying to legalize recreational pot, now keep in mind medical marijuana was already legal and being sold by approved growers. So, why is it that they are having distribution problems, production problems when they have had years to work all the kinks out and they have a backlog of cultivation and sale licenses. It seems they are suddenly overwhelmed. No one is making money on pot in Canada. Localities are trying to get funds from the goverment because of the money they have spent on logistics, and distribution and have received very little revenue from operations because of all the backlogs. Bonify, if they are similar in circumstance to other growers, had a long process to endure to get a full sales license, yet they recently had to fire executives who apparently were cutting corners to meet demand. They had strains of product whose origins are still unknown. (Illegal source ?) And the problems were not found and reported by the gov’t but were reported by employees who believed they were not following protocols. RavenQuest, a company with yrs of experience in all aspects of growing cannabis, including building technologies and engineering aspects of facilities for growing cannabis. Furthermore, they are known for their professional management of operations, and environments of growing cannabis all due to their years of experience in consulting other growers. They were hired by Bonify to take over complete management of Bonify’s operations and they are having difficulty in receiving their full sales license instead they have only a B2B license. So, you have ask yourself if gov’t bureaucrats are qualified to do their jobs, if they are working hard enough to complete their tasks, or is it that they have failed to plan properly. “If you fail to plan then you plan to fail”.
In conclusion, it is not only RavenQuest that finds itself in this situation, but an industry wide mountain of problems seeking solutions from those that don’t have the answers.
This is the reason they selected RavenQuest
"Manitoba seizing pot from Winnipeg-based Bonify

(Twitter/BonifyCanada)
WINNIPEG -- Manitoba regulators have seized all cannabis products provided by a Winnipeg-based company that were shipped to licenced retail stores.
The Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba and Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation say the sale of all cannabis products produced by Bonify are suspended over quality-control issues.
Premier Brian Pallister says he believes illegal cannabis entered the legal distribution system.
He says Health Canada was notified more than a week ago, but the province was only told Tuesday, and heard from the company, not the federal government.
Pallister says it's unacceptable that his government was not notified earlier, and customers need to know that what they are buying is approved and licenced.
Last week, Health Canada issued a recall of two strains of Bonify cannabis products that were being sold in three stores in Saskatchewan.
Health Canada said the products may not meet some of the microbial and chemical contaminant limits specified by federal cannabis regulations.
Consumers are being told to return Bonify cannabis products in their original package for refund to the store where they were purchased.
"The Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba and Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation are aware that Health Canada is conducting an investigation of Bonify," the organizations said Thursday in a release.
"We are in communication with Health Canada to ensure that any resulting issues for Manitobans are resolved."
Pallister called it a "black day" for the legal cannabis system.
"We've got to protect the integrity of the system because we have to protect the people who are using this product," Pallister said.
"And we cannot do that effectively or well if the federal officials in charge of this process ... don't communicate with us."
Pallister had called on the federal government to delay legalization to give provincial governments, police and others more time to prepare.
"This is the kind of thing that happens when initiatives like this are rushed.""

I got out at 80 made a couple thousand that you're in nxttf if it stays down in 2 weeks I'll be back in check out mymmf also I'm in a few stocks that you're in nxttf . On another note I do like the idea of these orbital gardens but like others are saying they should aquire their own lisvences before offering other companies help.
Apparently, talk is cheap....as is RQ S/P until something positively factual happens.
If RQ can produce 10K kilograms in 2019, they can only do that if you get their two other facilities up running with cultivation licenses for both, then they could produce the 10K Kilograms they are suggesting. Then 10k kilograms= 10 million grams X $5.50 per gram= $55,000,000 revenue. But the key is in getting the cultivation licenses for the other facilities. The Markham facility produces
2k kilograms annually as designed now, if they install the Orbital Gardens then that would increase output to 4K Kilograms. So, they are on track for $11,000,000 or 22,000,000 with Orbital Gardens at Markham depending on how fast they get them installed.
No I was asking what the conversion ratio when it's all said and done you dont remember that little jingle kilo, hecto, deca, deci, centi, and milli.
That is because he didn't ever have to pay taxes unlike us and RQ. The colonies in America did not like taxes either that is why they had a revenuelution. Lol.
How much revenue is that?: King Henry died merrily....
RavenQuest Begins Cannabis Sales
GlobeNewswireDecember 4, 2018, 6:00 AM EST
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RavenQuest BioMed Inc. (the “Company” or “RavenQuest”) – (CSE: RQB OTCQB: RVVQF Frankfurt: 1IT) is pleased to announce that it is concluding its first cannabis sales transaction, beginning a new era for the Company as it joins an exclusive club of companies that generate revenue from the legal sale of cannabis in Canada.
RavenQuest recently obtained its Business to Business (“B2B”) sales license from Health Canada, permitting the Company to effect sales to other licensed producers. Under the terms of RavenQuest’s first cannabis sales transaction, it will use its B2B sales license to sell its cannabis inventory at its Markham, Ontario facility to a large publicly traded Canadian licensed producer.
“This is an important inflection point in the history of RavenQuest, as we will soon generate revenue from cannabis sales,” stated George Robinson, CEO. “We expect a new harvest from our Markham facility in the coming weeks, which will add significantly more revenue. Importantly, pricing in the B2B market is favourable, competitive and on par with that from provincial wholesalers, meaning we expect to have multiple sales channels available to us and are fully able to take advantage of these opportunities to generate revenue for shareholders. Our message to shareholders is simple: Cannabis sales at RavenQuest have begun and will continue at competitive prices,” Robinson continued.
-------------------------------
See my below post for possible sales price
As was told to me by Mathieu.
According to Mathieu, RQ has been talking to other producers and has been offered $5.50 per gram for their product. Furthermore, RQ is still on schedule to produce 10K kilograms in 2019. Guess we shall see.
"Importantly, the B2B License also paves the way for RavenQuest’s full sales license, which would allow cannabis sales both medically and recreationally"
Seems to be a completely useless extra step in the whole process. What purpose does it serve? It's ok to sell to other cultivators? What does that even mean. It almost sounds like politics are involved somehow by forcing them to be a subcontractor to larger companies. We need your product but you can't sell it unless someone we like sells it. Complete BS to me. Any of you Canadians that can enlighten would be appreciated.
WHATS UP WITH THE SUPPLY MOU AT BCLDB?
The MOU will become a full supply agreement and RavenQuest will begin shipping product to BCLDB immediately upon receipt of the sales license at Markham.
WHAT ABOUT SUPPLYING OTHER PROVINCES OUTSIDE OF BC?
Yes that is a focus for this quarter. We have been contacted by provincial wholesalers from Alberta, Ontario and Quebec and will look forward to concluding those conversations swiftly upon receipt of our sales license.
The above is From Questions to, and answers from CEO Mr. Robinson
Now the question is, how much product is ready to sell? In one of my previous conversations with Mathieu I recall him mentioning 1400 KG which would equate to about $7,000,000. Unfortunately, my memory isn’t what it once was, however, I will try to reach him today for clarification.
I don’t believe the market has recognized this lasted news yet. Oh well, snooze you lose. Lol.
seems pretty significant...
The B2B License permits sales of cannabis between federal license holders which includes sales of both bulk cannabis and pre-packaged, labelled and tested cannabis products. Effective immediately, the Company is authorized to sell cannabis in accordance with subsection 11(5) of the CR. Specifically, these activities include:
the sale and distribution of dried cannabis, fresh cannabis, cannabis plants and cannabis seeds to licensed micro and standard cultivators, processors, analytical testing labs, researchers or cannabis drug manufacturers;
sale and distribution of cannabis plants and cannabis plant seeds to a licensed nursery;
the sale and distribution of cannabis plants and cannabis plant seeds, that are cannabis products to a holder of a license for sale, or a person authorized to sell cannabis under a provincial Act that authorizes the sale of cannabis by reason of subsection 69(1) of the CA; and,
the sale and delivery of cannabis plants and cannabis plant seeds, that are cannabis products, to the purchaser of the products at the request of: a person authorized to sell cannabis under a provincial Act that authorizes the sale of cannabis by reason of subsection 69(1) of the CA, or a holder of a license for sale.
So, RQ should be allowed to sell all of its inventory to the B.C. Liquor Board. Hopefully, that announcement will be forthcoming. Let’s hope later this week.
Thanks for posting. You beat me by a minute. Lol.
RavenQuest Receives Migrated License From Health Canada Permitting B2B Sales of Cannabis
https://www.ftmig.com/cannabis/ravenquest-receives-migrated-license-health-canada/
Understandable. I felt the same way about their license not being ready. Should be a nice push when they get their license so I am waiting for that event. Good luck.
Let’s hope next week brings us good news. I heard we were very close to getting a license. I also heard a year ago that the Meuller investigation was coming to a close. Take it with a grain of salt, I guess.
Thanks for posting Potter
That is what Mathieu told me last week. The only thing he did not mention however, and what I failed to ask Mathieu, was concerning the Sun Coast facility that they signed a MOU agreement to purchase from Agripharma. No status or resolutions on that agreement yet? That is the largest facility at 125,000 sq. Ft.
If anyone calls please ask and post his response to the board. I won't be able to call until Friday.
A Q&A Session With RavenQuest CEO George Robinson
https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2018/11/07/1646744/0/en/A-Q-A-Session-With-RavenQuest-CEO-George-Robinson.html
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RavenQuest BioMed Inc. (the “Company” or “RavenQuest”) – (CSE: RQB OTCQB: RVVQF Frankfurt: 1IT)
We’re heading swiftly through the final quarter of 2018 and as CEO, I’d like to address RavenQuest’s progress on a number of fronts.
Let’s go through a thorough Q&A covering key areas of interest for shareholders!
WHATS HAPPENING WITH THE SALES LICENSE?
RavenQuest has moved through all of the rigorous application procedures Health Canada requires to obtain a license to sell cannabis legally in Canada. This includes two successful harvests which are carefully tested for Health Canada’s stringent biochemistry standards.
We’re ready to go.
Health Canada has experienced a busy period with the onset of legalization. Our dialogue with Health Canada has been very positive, our file is in active review and we are optimistic about the prospect of receiving our license near term.
HAVE YOU MISSED THE DEMAND WINDOW?
No, not at all.
It’s important to put this into perspective: both of RavenQuest’s facilities are built and grow rooms are full of healthy plants at the Markham facility. However inventory is limited at this time, meaning the existence of a sales license would bring some revenues immediately, but the substantial revenues we expect from cannabis sales will truly ramp up when harvests take place at Markham in the coming weeks.
RavenQuest has always maintained that our business model was to complete our facilities and ramp up to full capacity by the beginning of calendar 2019. I’m happy to report we are still on target for these goals. We are extremely excited to be one of the top 15 companies in the country in terms of built (not just funded) capacity.
WAS AN OCTOBER 17 SALES LICENSE A MISSED OPPORTUNITY?
The October 17 legalization date was important from a consumer perspective; as of that date you no longer need to worry about a criminal record for simple consumption. From that perspective, it was a ceremonial day worthy of celebration.
But from a “deadline” perspective, October 17 was just another day in our business plan as we ramp up for 2019.
Legalization date was never going to be the “Black Friday” type event that had industry wide dollar signs from the starting gun. That just simply wasn’t going to happen and we’ve been saying that for months now. If you take a look across the industry, it’s going to take some time. We have always factored this into our plans as we ramp up toward 2019 and this applies to our sales license as well.
IS THE EDMONTON FACILITY READY TO GO?
We are very close to receiving our cultivation license at the Edmonton facility and when that arrives, we will immediately populate our revolutionary Orbital Garden grow technology with plant genetics. It’s a beautiful thing to see these automated, vertically-stacked systems spinning in place throughout the facility and we can’t wait to show the world what we can do in terms of production per square foot and plant consistency. The world is watching and we’re ready to deliver.
CAN YOU SELL PRODUCTION FROM EDMONTON THROUGH A MARKHAM SALES LICENSE?
Yes.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED FOR AS YOU LOOK AHEAD?
There is so much to look forward to at RavenQuest. Obviously we have two major license milestones on the near-term horizon. When you combine those with the potential for more supply arrangements with Canada’s heavily populated provinces, there is a lot to be excited about right now.
Our services division is firing on all cylinders with several incoming calls about our unique methodologies and consulting services on a daily basis. We anticipate this division will contribute a significant amount of revenue to our overall top line in 2019. In addition, it’s clear to us that there is significant demand worldwide for the unique knowledge we can bring to new cannabis producers in the international marketplace. Services will be a key growth driver for the Company as the industry matured worldwide.
Keep in mind we are on the verge of showing the world the unprecedented production capabilities of our Orbital Garden grow systems. I look forward to seeing cannabis inside the gardens and sharing that kind of revolutionary technology with the world. As the Company’s single largest shareholder, I can tell you it’s an exciting time to be a RavenQuest shareholder!

I'll buy it back in the .40's.
This is setting up for a nice buy in the low .40s
They have a license to cultivate at the Markham facility. They are waiting on Health Canada to approve their license to sell at Markham. RavenQuest has had their paperwork in for months for the Markham facility. They need licenses to cultivate at Edmonton and Vancouver. Once they receive their license to cultivate at those two facilities, and if they have a license to sell at Markham they can ship product from the other two facilities and sell through Markham. That was a question I specifically asked Matthieu and that was his answer to me. He also said that they were very close to receiving their license to sell at Markham. I too, was upset about RQ not having their license to sell for the big event ( 10/17 ) since that is suppose to be their expertise and I was told that “ that is the Goverment for you”. I will say that there are over 100 companies in the same situation and it seems apparent that Health Canadian was not prepared properly for what they should have known could be an overwhelming situation. The old adage, “ Failing to plan, means you are planning to fail” certainly applies here.
I am certain that the public is not very happy either since they ran out of inventory after two days, which by the way, opens the door wide for illegal selling of cannabis. One major reason for legalization of cannabis was to stop the illegal trade. So, not only is the public angry, but certainly other goverment officals, and they may also start exerting pressure to get it done. Do a bunch of Socialist get paid overtime? I think not, yet another reason why Socialism doesn’t work, great benefits but wait in line forever to receive those benefits. So, let’s realize that the fault doesn’t lay with greater portion with RQ, but mostly with Health Canada. Also, If product was sold out after only two days why were not the large producers able to supply adequate product, probably because they are facing the same obstacles as RQ. It is all relevant.
Great, maybe one day RQ can get a license to actually sell and cultivate, maybe before the next headline reads. "Pot sellers reach surplus".
It's really unacceptable that a company with 4 pillars, one of the pillars being a turn key solution pillar. The pillar that takes a company by the hand and walks them through all the paperwork to get said company up and running. Its unacceptable that RQ does not even have their own paperwork in order, RQ did not procure their own license to sell or cultivate at theur own facilities. Think of the revenue they are missing out on.
I was told in a phone conversation with McDonald that brokerage firms would initiate coverage on RQ, that never happened, I also believe that OG is not Proprietary to RQ. I was also told in phone conversations that instead of RQ diluting stock further via toxic loans and dilution, that RQ would secure funding with a major Canadian bank. I dont know if that is true or not but I cant take RQ at their word anymore because of they cant even get a license to sell or cultivate their own MJ. Of course at some point HC will grant the license and stock may pop 20% but beware of them diluting the share price to raise capital.
Report: Global Cannabis Industry Could Soon Reach $194 Billion

Report: Global Cannabis Industry Could Soon Reach $194 Billion
When the International Cannabis Business Conference held its first event just over four years ago, not many were thinking about the global marijuana market. At that time, only two U.S. states had implemented legalization and Uruguay was still working out the details of its regulatory structure. An international event seemed a bit ahead of it’s time to a lot of industry observers.
Today, a lot of the world has caught up to the ICBC in realizing that there is indeed a global cannabis industry, a business sector that will only continue growing over the coming years. According to a new report from the Bank of Montreal, the global cannabis industry could be getting close to a nearly $200 billion market within the next decade, as the Financial Post reported:
The potential of the global cannabis industry is so vast that it could eventually make the sky-high valuations of some Canadian licensed producers look like bargains, according to a new report from Bank of Montreal.
In the report, the bank’s cannabis sector analysts, Tamy Chen and Peter Sklar, sought to determine just how big the total addressable market Canadian producers will be competing for in the coming years, one that doesn’t stop at Canada’s borders.
Assuming a blue-sky scenario in which the U.S. and all 28 countries in the EU legalize marijuana for both recreational and medical use — and in which Latin America allows the medical use of cannabis — they project that in seven years the market could reach $194 billion, a number that significantly dwarfs the $5.9 billion in potential revenue they anticipate will be generated by the Canadian medical and recreational markets.
In four years, we may look back at the fact that only two nations (Uruguay and Canada) had legalized cannabis as a rather quaint time for the industry. With the UK starting a medical cannabis program this month and Mexico’s Supreme Court issuing a favorable ruling against prohibition, it is practical to expect that we’ll see more positive international news in the near future and beyond. Canadian companies are already effectively taking advantage of emerging international markets. Will the rest of the world catch up?

The first weeks have felt more like a soft opening with few retail outlets operating and rampant supply shortages. It’s not because Canada can’t produce enough cannabis products — licensing those producers has been slow, and the federal government is taking steps to speed up the process.i
Many sources Stating samething about shortages.
Long lines and swamped websites greeted the first day of marijuana sales," reported USAToday, also stating, "Days after recreational marijuana became legal in Canada, our neighbors to the north may already be running out."

"Canadian Retailer Says Cannabis Sales Outpacing Alcohol
Published By Anthony Johnson on October 24, 2018
Alcanna Inc., operators of over 225 retail operations selling wine, beer, and spirits in Canada and the United States, made big news that it was moving into the cannabis industry, announcing that it was opening 5 cannabis retailers, with a plan for 37 across Alberta. Following cannabis commerce going legal in Canada on October 17th, Alcanna’s NOVA cannabis stores have seen heavy demand, outpacing its alcohol sales. Aided by the fact that there are only 2 retail outlets open in Calgary and 15 total across Alberta, there have been long lines of people eager to purchase legal cannabis, as The GrowthOp reported after talking with Alcanna’s CEO James Burns:
Revenue from those pot sales — totaling $1.3 million from its five Nova Cannabis stores in the first five days of legalization — left its alcohol figures in the haze, said Burns.
The average dollar amount for each cannabis transaction is two to three times that seen in Alcanna’s Liquor Depot stores, he said.
And the difference in dollars generated per square foot of floor space is “stratospheric,” he added.
We’ll see whether Canadian cannabis sales cool off over time, but legal states in the U.S. have found sales outpacing projections, with record revenue numbers occurring years later. Alcohol sales have been hurt a bit by legal cannabis, medical or adult-use, motivating some wise alcohol companies to join the marijuana market. Over time, as cannabis moves more mainstream, we’ll likely see the industry grow, garnering a bigger and bigger market share from alcohol, as the stigma declines more and more consumers choose to make the safer choice.

Chris Bechtel doesn’t have the gonads to be a director of a startup. Insider trading violations, or a planned sale? One or the other. In any case we don’t need that kind of activity. Straighten him out George.
RavenQuest has its license to cultivate. They are waiting for their approval for a license to sell. Everything has been submitted to Health Canada and they are just waiting for approval. A good sign for RavenQuest is that the only question from Health Canada after receiving all documentations from RavenQuest was a benign question pertaining to future plans of whether RavenQuests intents to open any retail outlets, which indicated to RavenQuest that all documentation from them was in order. Considering that after only two days of selling recreational usage cannabis supply is gone, I would believe that fact may add incentive to speed up approvals since the public is not very happy about that situation.

Perhaps when they look at Health Canada and determine they are inefficient in approving licensing they will make some changes.
A license to sell and cultivate might help. Unacceptable that Raven, a company that helps others with Health Canadas paperwork, does not have a license by Oct 17th.
Where ravenquest headed?dips might be a nice opportunity. ..
Surprisingly, I sent a detailed email to Mathieu McDonald and he did not return my email. I asked about RotoGro and he went radio silent. For the record he's always answered my questions. I also asked about some clarity with the cultivation license in Edmonton and Sales license at Markham facility. No Joy, radio silent. Really surprised these licenses were not issued prior to Oct 17.
I sent a generic email to the home garden show RQB was at and got a reply that their products by "LORE" and "Bloomera" would not be for sale until they get the license from Health Canada. For a company that deals with Health Canada, and helps other companies with their consulting business, it seems like a pretty poor relationship.

Leading companies in the technology, biotech, tourism and, notably, cannabis industries collaborate with VOA.
RavenQuest’s cannabis offerings will lead our clients through the entire wholistic cannabis Experience. Each Experience begins with an informed selection of a suitable cultivar (strain). The journey then extends through the enjoyment of inspired packaging and finally delivers a high quality, predictable and repeatable Experience that can only come from the science-based grow methodologies for which RavenQuest has become so well-known.
