I was to work for Raytheon some years ago at their Antarctica Research Center as far as Facilities Support job. But I declined after heavy thought about it. Funny to see now 37 cases of Covid-19 now in Antarctica which seems very strange to me knowing what one has to go through to even qualify to stay there for 6 month tour or 1 year tour of duty assignment...

DOW pretty much is left with banks and Tech companies. All are the most corrupt organizations on the planet today !
I can't believe how they are beating this company's stock down to such levels... But as I sated elsewhere, Wall Street has Communists in it, who are behind those willing to shortsell and decimate any company related to this President's long term Agenda for America- and at any cost... Such a sad State of Affairs we are in today in this Nation. So much hate everywhere... Not good for anyone or anything.
1. is there really much to be feared with Covid as media touts 24/7?
2. is there really a wood shortage?
3. is there really a national coin shortage going on?
4. is there really an aluminum shortage going on?

Finland to buy 64 F-35 fighter jets worth $12.5B

Finland, a non-NATO ally, has been cleared to purchase $12.5 billion in F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, boosting the Nordic country on the Russian front line.
Under the thumb of Moscow for decades and sharing a border with Russia, the Scandinavian country is increasing its air firepower with the purchase approved Friday.
The sale to Finland includes 64 F-35 Joint Strike Fighters with air-to-air missiles and air-to-ground precision-guided munitions, 66 Pratt & Whitney F-135 engines, and hundreds of missiles. The foreign military sale was approved by the State Department’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
Defense contractors Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, and Raytheon are involved in the proposed sale to replace Finland’s aging F/A-18s and upgrade air-to-air and air-to-ground defense capabilities.
While boosting the United States's national security by strengthening Finland's Air Force, a press release indicated that the proposed sale will not alter the military balance in the region.
"It is vital to the U.S. national interest to assist Finland in developing and maintaining a strong and ready self-defense capability,” the release read. “The proposed sale of F-35s and associated missiles and munitions will provide Finland with a credible defense capability to deter aggression in the region.”
Good, those stocks are dinosaurs. They may recover a bit, but they are NOWHERE NEAR the potential upside of the others. Soon, those dinosaurs will be extinct if they’re not careful.
When you need a government bailout to keep you humming, a company’s “glory days” are WELL BEHIND them. This stock is one of those.
Raytheon will go screaming thru the roof once the airlines relief package is passed by Congress. Should be any day now.
Expect a lot of new orders for defense systems throughot the South China Seas by countries against China's hegemony and also from Modi of India who needs to beef up his anti-missile air defense systems

What was CMBC and what Dow stocks are "sinthetic?"
My portfolio of solid stocks is at record high with most of mine paying fabulous and increasing dividends.
Today's DOW loaded with tech, banks, and sinthetic stocks which are so volatile anyway...
NASDAQ reminds me right now of late 90's dot.coms CMBC was drawing so many into then it went bust in a fast way- ruining retirements for millions they/media never report on, making many homeless as well...
Such a corrupt US equities market we have before us...
Unfkngreal RTX dropped as well as Exxon and Phizer !!! WTF going on in America anymore...
These are great bastions of industry and development globally, and they are replaced on DOW for decades by some temp service corp and other ???
So where does RTX go?
RTX dropped from Dow
Late Monday, S&P Dow Jones Indices said three new companies will be added to the Dow Jones Industrial Average: Salesforce.com (CRM), Amgen (AMGN) and Honeywell (HON). The changes will go into effect before the market opens on Monday, Aug. 31.
Salesforce will replace Exxon Mobil (XOM). Amgen will replace Pfizer (PFE). And Honeywell will take the place of Raytheon Technologies (RTX).
Salesforce stock jumped 3.6% in after-hours trade. Amgen stock rallied 4% late Monday, while Honeywell stock moved up 3.5% after the close."

I know you are Bar, and that is your perogative...
I'm a retired lawyer. I certainly wouldn't want to buy a BK retailer. Heck, I wouldn't want to own ANY retailer. Adios
Good chart. I am not in Carrier. Might want to get some JCPNQ quickly (if you don't own any) as court docs show 8.00-11.25 Shareholder value there and by this Thursday, final details expected to occur to make that stock have a Kodak moment...??? Will see... ~~
LOL funny. I sold RTX and it has fallen from that level as I expected it was going to do... I increased positions already in play in petro/energy stocks I own if you need to know...
So, are you buying RTX, or just sticking with quality stuff like Sears, JCP and RadioShack that you've posted on in the past?
Place RTX 1 year chart on top CLF 1 year chart, you will be amazed ! Just found this myself, both showing major ascending triangle pattern developed about to break out to upside...
I may be wrong, but go check it out yourselves... Weird, huh?
I know Raytheon. I was to work with them, My brother who is Colonel in Pentagon (Chief of Staff) has dealt with them for many years for Govt contract matters even for over 30 years...
I still have relationships from many years ago (consultancy business) and news sources I get overseas, and news release on one such news feed mentioned this new contract publicly.. Just cause USA media has turned Liberal Socialist and all Anti-Trump today, don't mean the rest of the world ceases to exist in business and commerce...
And yes, as a colleague of mine over at CLF mentions, need to see that executive order going into effect to STOP naked shortselling and limited shorting schemes here in the USA. SEC needs to enact now. They are supposed to be anytime from what I understand... LOOK at mess over at KODK those execs did recently, Trump Admnin correct to pull that $750Mill funding back after seeing fraud perpetuated there...
Both RTX spinoff boards are now running, Carrier and Otis.
