QUBT isn't done IMO. Mr Liscouski is the best in the business when it comes to Quantum security.

Quantum computing in it's infancy.

I do agree there will better stocks to flip. But long-term looks great here.

They have been working on an up list to NASDAQ since last December. NASDAQ is backlogged and I understand it can take as long as 6 months to obtain approval. Assuming that QUBT qualifies for the up list it should be happening any day soon. That should increase liquidity, bring institutional investors in to the stock and analyst coverage.

QUBT is being heavily shorted at this point. Apparently, a large block of QUBT shares is being held by customers at Wilson Davis, a broker specializing in OTC stocks. Someone at Wilson Davis, or at another broker clearing through Wilson Davis, is "borrowing" their customers' shares in order to heavily short this stock. Seems pretty unethical to use their customers' shares to try and drive down the value of their customers' accounts. Hopefully the QUBT shareholders file a complaint with FINRA and the shorting stops soon.

Looking online, Wilson Davis has been censured by FINRA or the SEC a few times in the past 10 years for illegal pump and dumps and other violations. I guess this kind of unethical behavior is "business as usual" at firms like this.

Thanks I agree, don’t plan on selling for a long time, especially if they uplist, think the floodgates will open then big time, would be awesome to be in a company like this from the very start.
Hear of those stories of “if you’d of kept those shares when the company first started, you’d be a millionaire today”, I want that!

This isn't a typical pump and dump because they aren't issuing a bunch of shares. In fact, one of the reasons for the volatility in their stock is that their float is so small. I think some big players are accumulating shares and, of course, there are traders buying and selling along the way that bring in the big swings.

They have a pretty solid staff (brought over two key software guys from D-Wave when D-Wave shut down their software development to focus on the Quantum hardware) and have some key advisors from finance, biotech, software security, etc. on their board. They got a big boost back in August when this Investorplace article appeared in YF:

They've talked about uplisting for the past 6 months and I expect to see some big contracts in the near future. I believe this is the real deal.

So I’m seeing they applied to uplist to NASDAQ, and on other boards people are saying typical pump and dump stock.
Yet in the past 2-3 weeks millions of $ have bought into this stock before this news, I don’t know, but doesn’t seem like a pump and dump stock.

Price swings crazy, but what really matters (to me) is that suddenly big moneys interested. Volume has picked up significantly as well as amount of $ traded every day.
Never been in a stock quite like this from the beginning where I see such a drastic change so fast on no news.
I see millions of dollars suddenly trading here, why?
No one seems to know.

Long term, huge potentially. Stratospheric.
Short term, seems a bit "too much, too soon". Trailing stops are in.

I got REALLY lucky here. Bought in end of Nov, early Dec. Sold a few to get my basis back, now playing with house money. Considering a switch to the similar ETF.
