CEO Evan Baergen announced today that Beddis International Ltd. has completed a legal name change to Quantex Capital Corporation.

Mr. Baergen stated that the name change is part of the restructuring process and the board's plan to start rebuilding the company.

"The board sees a bright future for Quantex and the company needed a name that would emulate the vision and direction of the business. We are in the process of creating a written plan regarding the company's new direction and that information will be available to shareholders shortly," Baergen said.

The future business direction of Quantex will include equity investments in both private and public corporations which will be secured through majority ownership as well as strategic positions within the target companies. Quantex will assist its new corporate partners by providing management expertise and financing with the goal of achieving long-term appreciation from these investments.

The company is awaiting a new CUSIP number which will reflect the share reverse split approved by shareholders at the AGM on January 31, 2005. The board felt the split was necessary as it will make the company more appealing for future financings needed for the course of business the board is planning to take.

In addition to the name change, Mr. Baergen took over as President effective March 29th, 2005, with Matt Reams stepping down, but remaining a director.

Irv Fischer also resigned as a director and Len Goossen, CGA, has taken his place on the board. With 20 years of experience in management of small and medium sized business in both the private and public sectors, Mr. Goossen provides advice on accounting and tax matters as well as expansion and acquisition matters and is a great fit for Quantex as it continues the re-structuring phase.

"Building an experienced, knowledgeable board is essential for the future of the corporation and part of our commitment to increase the value for our shareholders," Baergen added.

Another part of the management team's commitment includes increased communication with shareholders which will include printed corporate updates, email updates as well as a website to be launched by mid-April.
