maybe so...but what has he proved? he does have the dimensions you want in a reciever...but think about the running game of s.d. - tick, tick, tick and l.t. stealing passes and gates getting the red zone passes....rivers doesn't throw many deep balls does he? I just don't know...
Here is a great value pick
Vincent JAckson WR of the SD chargers.
thx, I will check it out em
my drafts are complete - I can now offer advice without having to PM
A buddy of mine sent me this link today. They pay major coin for winning a fantasy football league.
http://www.paythefan.com/ptf_access/home-football.asp
LOL...thanks! Atleast one is a winner...
with detailed questions, I will have to pm the answers, as I am not sure if my brother reads my postings on investorshub (I am in a fantasy football league with him) - I will respond through pm though
sounds impressive for sure...
OT - this year I'm going to give my picks versus the spread on this board:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=7703
I think I can hit 55%+ of the games I pick vs. the spread...it will be interesting to see how I do
I must say that some say Brandon Jacobs will do incredible things... a couple interesting tidbits for you - he has ran a 40 in the 4.3's before....when timed at the clmb. he was 2nd only behind Darren Sproles in the 10 yd sprint. This guy is like 265 and can run like a f'ing deer
It is up to Eli NOW...to do something! Without Tiki, he is going to be challenged!
obviously, Eli just isn't showing the improvement that most thought we would see, and his body language on the field is simply horrible....he isn't one-tenth as good as his brother mentally or physically - stay away from drafting Eli, as he can no longer ride Tiki's coattails
yea ill hate him forever cause of it
LOL...he is still talked down about for that. I am personally glad he landed in NY!
nothing changes the fact that a draftee has no right to try to dictate the team that takes him. If he was not a Manning he would have been pursectued in the media for that crap
That goes back to Archie...wanted NOTHING to do with Marty is the bottom line!
still pissed at eli for the to good for the chargers crap.
Talking about MANning, I hope that Eli comes through this year!
A new season is here...who do we need to pick up, that is our sleeper?
and T. Henry is tough - he once played games with a broken fibula
Marty is one of the most overrated coaches of all time in any sport. His team's always choke in the playoffs from Cleveland to KC to SD. I might move up Travis Henry to the top 5 as he will carry the rock a ton and Denver is a goldmine for rb's.
I believe Marty is gone...good thing for L.T. - L.T. is lucky Marty Ball didn't get him injured...Marty was working him like an Ox with 30+ carries and a passing game designed for him, lol
'Herm Ball' might get L.J. hurt as well, as Herm feeds L.J. the ball A LOT...and just because he is a big pipe hitten fool, doesn't mean that he can't get hurt...in fact I would think the bigger the beast, the bigger the collision
look at how big Earl Campbell was, and how short his career was
1. LT Hands down the #1 player in FF and NFL history IMO. I have a feeling he will not end the year #1. Always seems to disappear in FF playoffs
2. Steven Jackson - May end the year #1.
3. Frank Gore - Will give the top 2 a run for the money if he stays healthy.
4. Westbrook
5. LJ - Questionable pick , he had a ton of carries last year and his offensive line is horrendous.
well manning imo is the only qb that shoudl even be a first rd pick. RB RB RB ... at minimum IMO the 1st 2 picks shoudl always be RB although i broke my onw rule last uear
Ok! That makes sense... then if you got caught in the middle of the draft... how soon do you pick Manning, Brady, or Palmer?
I passed on Peyton last year and for Stephen Jackson and was happy with him... but sorta regretted not taking the #1 QB
yea lt or lj IMO
I have never played with the keeper league, but I think you MUST keep Tom Brady, he is going to put up ridiculous numbers with the addition of Randy Moss. Go with L.T. or L.J…..Gore is too risky – at University of Miami – he blew out both of his knees, I worry about his lifespan, although he did great things under Norv Turner last year (but what RB doesn’t)….and yes, RB’s are at a premium, you can NEVER have too many
Man this will be great come fantasy football time. GREAT IDEA I will be asking Questions I have to wait though because we have where you keep 2 from previous year. I do have One Question Though I have Running Backs Frank Gore and Rudi Johnson and Micheal Turner but I think he is staying with San Deigo. Qb I have Tom Brady. Out of these 4 who would you keep. I also have the #2 pick overall? Im thinking Gore and Johnson but what would you go for a QB,RB or WR with the #2 pick I was thinking go for another good RB and use him for trade after the picks what do you think?
in a 12 man league with 1qb, 2rb, 3wr/te, and 1wc (qb, rb, wr)
I would go with a RB for sure: probably L.T. assuming he has an easy schedule like he did last year: the afc west is starting to get solid against the run though...other option is pipe hitten larry johnson
Who would you take with the number 1 pick?
