I certainly hope you are both right!
One of the things I liked about this stock is that it is an unknown. I tend to agree with chocolate that some day it will be discovered and with a small float will fly. Think ISRG. Could still be a long way off though.
I don't know that a heavy retail presence will ever occur. They don't really reach out to that type of investor. Take into account low volume and a PPS over $10, hard to assume retail will ever really pay attention......and that is fine with me. They have a solid % of shares held by institutions. Heavy retail works for traders, of which I am not. I think this PPS will be purely performance based. They get insurance figured out, more installations, more data. Etc, it will go up. Big delays or poor adoption of procedure or hang ups with insurance, it will go down.....as it should. Just my opinion.
What do you think will happen when retail investors discover the potential of this company? This stock is so thinly traded it should explode to the upside.
I agree, and with markets down today and options expiring tomorrow I will most likely be wrong this week. I still feel if we can get to new highs before the end of the month if the markets cooperate.
That's a bold prediction chocolate man. Good luck!
I think we will make a new high next week and end January around 15 or higher.
Yeah, felt I had to say something. If I say something negative, it will undoubtedly go up. If I go positive, it will most likely go down.....LOL
Starting to move up on little volume. I think it was consolidating after the move up last week. I would love to see volume come in and close above $12.00 today. In any regards I feel real confortable with my position.
.
I figured it was you reestablishing your position.
Thank you for the link Hay, and I agree with the only 14 target.
Janey, good to hear from you! When did you get back in? I remember you sold the rest of your PROF I think sometime in the summer around $8.00 a share. I hope you bought back in at a low price. Stocks always move 6-12 months in anticipation of good news. Lot's of great things on the horizon for this company.
Lake Street Capital raises target....but only to 14?

can't imagine what is driving this ... maybe buy out rumors somewhere?? certainly not reported sales performance from last Q
I'm glad you have some after being here so long
no buying, just holding what i got
Pushing towards 12 now Janey. You sniffing around here at all? Hard to buy into this run up.
Lately, if you want them, you gotta go get them. Very few sellers meeting the buyers bid. Buyers gotta meet the ask.
That's an interesting observation. I hope you are right, I've added some Arpril 5's and 71/2's options today.
300 shares at 12.98? Doesn't make much sense, but I am starting to wonder if there is some kind of pre-market communication via early trades going on here somehow? Every morning during this rise it seems someone buys some seemingly way overpriced pre-market shares. Then, the pps seems to rise to that point or thereabouts throughout the day. We will see if that trend continues - If it is a trend at all....I could have just taken an extra dose of crazy pills.
Thank you Lazer, I couldn't agree more with your assessment! I wish you and your family a Very Healthy and Happy New Year!
Certainly seems more buyers than sellers. Traded pretty thin this week, but as expected with holidays. My post wasn't meant to be negative - more bullish than anything. About a month ago I was considering a tax loss, now I am kicking myself that fear held me back... should have bought more. 2023 could be a strong year. Really needs to see revs bump up, but the stronger catalysts for this company comes down to 3 things in my opinion: 1. securing securing insurance reimbursements 2. wrapping up additional trials, 3. collecting of data from successful procedures. 3a. Additional write ups in medical journals. Good luck and I hope 2023 is a great year for you and yours.
There appears to be big money betting on the success of this company and I'm enjoying the ride again!
So I had a little free time today and was searching up doctors comparing and explaining different prostate cancer available options, making sure to stay away from the ones speaking specifically in favor of a specific treatment. For instance, I didn't watch any doctors speaking specifically about Tulsa Pro. Based on what I was watching, one doctor spoke favorably about Tulsa but emphasized that there is only 1 documented FDA trial with published results. He said it could be great, but it's too early to tell. Another doctor was high on the procedure, but warned insurance doesn't usually cover much of the procedure. Basically, it's just early at this point based on my very limited research. Once more trials are complete, and reimbursements are finalized, this could really take off if it can find a way to explicitly separate itself from HIFU. It appears significantly better than HIFU, but the tech is similar and HIFU is widely used currently.
Very interesting, I wonder how many mobile trucks they have and in what area they are doing this in.
They got some pretty cool stuff on Twitter. PROF acts more like a big company than a small one with their PR. Small and start up bios would be PRing all of this stuff. They do twitter posts.
#ICYMI No MRI time? No problem. #Profound is excited to announce that the TULSA-PRO is going mobile and will be available in a mobile MRI!#scienceandtechnology #urology #radiology #tulsapro #tulsaprocedure pic.twitter.com/nAiLzqdmxl

I still appreciate it very much! I believe this is his 2nd open market buy this year after buying $350.000 worth of stock. It does show confidence in the company!
Can't take too much credit. Took a peak over at the twits and found it. Crazy board, but sometimes useful info can be found. PROF is very scarcely commented on over there too.
Great find Lazer, thank you for sharing.
There is a $8.40 bid in AH if anyone is interested in selling some stock.
It looks like more then a cool down.
It kinda had to cool down a little, no?
It certainly didn't act like someone is looking to buy them today. I was disappointed we didn't recover some of the loss in the afternoon.
Kicking myself I didn't buy more over the past 2 months. Glad I chose to stand pat and not sell for a tax loss. I really thought we'd bounce back at a slower pace through 2023. Stinks that my vision is only 20/80 while my Hindsight is 20/20.
One thing to remember is the float is very small for this company so it doesn't take much buying to move the price up a lot. There are just not that many shares to trade. But I agree something has changed that we don't know about yet. The RJ analyst comments about the reaction of Dr's attending that conference are really bullish.
You are probably correct, but the rush to buy just smells like a buyout. If not a buyout, then I would expect some great business news in the near future.
Agree. I have always thought is was in the DNA of management to build this up and sell it when the price is right. Don't see it in the near term, but my crystal ball has been malfunctioning lately.
I think that will happen some day but I don't think mgt would let it go now. We would only get 20 to 30 at best. They have commented on this before a year or two ago that they have been approached but they were very coy. This mgt has a history of developing a company and selling it so it will probably happen some day but I expect at much much higher prices.
This stock has been so strong in a bad market, is it possible we are looking at someone buying us? I've said I thought this was undervalued but the price appreciation is telling me we may be in play.
Janey, Read my post below on what RJ analyst said about the conference he attended. Also listen to the last report audio on profound's website. I still think this will be big but I would find it hard to buy something that doubled in a week or so. I guess it may also depend on where you got out. Best of luck.
It's amazing how this stock self corrects during the day.. Yesterday was a perfect example.
Hard to say. Strong momentum over the past 2 weeks or so from sub $5 to now flirting with $9. Not showing weakness yet, but not really sure where this is coming from. I personally think the institutional investors here sold for a tax loss in November and are now buying their shares back. They also got another decent report again from RJ with a $15 PT. I was hoping you would know what is going on here. You sold around 8 or 9 and it dropped to under $5. I thought maybe you were buying back with all that cashola you're sitting on. ??
i haven’t been paying attention, worth another look?
Janey, I know you sold, but are you keeping an eye here at all? I miss your witty and usually on point comments. You were right last time to sell....thinking of coming back to us with this momentum?
I am glad I held my core. Was really considering taking a tax loss about a month ago. Now I wish I bought more... LOL.
Very interesting trading day. It closed strong at the end of the day and has a 9,26 print in AH.
