LOS GATOS, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 11, 2007 -- Procera® Networks, Inc. (OTC BB:PRNW.OB - News), a pioneering developer of intelligent network traffic and service management infrastructure equipment, and Summit Technologies, announced that Burlington International Airport has deployed Procera's PacketLogic to manage, optimize and secure their newly deployed public WiFi Network. The Burlington International Airport (BTV) offers free, guest-accessible, WiFi Internet access as a complimentary service to travelers passing throughout BTV's newly expanded $28 million facility. "A major objective for the development committee was to offer world-class services for travelers at the Burlington Airport, and to have guests delighted with the overall airport experience, including simple access, superior layout, comfort, and an essential requirement for many road-warrior travelers -- easy wireless access to the Internet," said Tamara S. Gagne, BTV's Director of Finance and Administration.
BTV chose Summit Technologies to provide the systems integration for both the WiFi network topology design and implementation, and to remotely manage and support the on-site PacketLogic appliance to ensure the available bandwidth is being utilized in the most efficient and affective manner. "Because WiFi proficient users now can truly tell the difference between a great and mediocre hotspot wireless experience, BTV tasked Summit Technologies with the goal of ensuring the guests will have the best online experience at the airport as an incentive to continue to fly in and out of BTV," said Johannes Jobst, CTO at Summit Technologies.
Jobst continues, "As a managed technology support provider, we have deployed PacketLogic in multiple different wired and wireless implementations. We are extremely experienced and confident in PacketLogic's Traffic Surveillance, Management and Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities which gives us the ultimate visibility to both real time and historical information about the Internet traffic running through the network. Depending on the traffic patterns, our support personnel can remotely manage the PacketLogic appliance located at BTV's facility, and take immediate action when required to control peer-2-peer applications, to prioritize email, ICA Citrix(TM) traffic, or Web Surfing to help ensure the highest quality wireless experience for all airports guests."
"Summit Technologies is one of many different worldwide system integrators that continue to find the functionality gems in our PacketLogic product line for managing WiFi networks," said Gary J. Johnson, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Procera Networks. "As airports, hotels, and other service facilities deploy WiFi and other online services across their multiple retail sites, branch offices and franchise locations, a high quality user experience is quickly becoming a must have to leverage Internet connectivity as a marketing tool for attracting additional customers. PacketLogic's substantial traffic management capabilities are clearly a critical piece of the architecture to ensure the overall user experience is a positive one."

It would have been encouraging to see net profits for Q3, but perhaps it's too early after the aquisition for that.
no debit is great!
their product retention from customers is amazing as is their stategic placements for int'l sales in 2007.
IMO, I think seeing a 100% gain in revenues is even a modest guess for 2007.
hopefully these guys can land some big cats this coming year like verizon, telus, q west, bell etc.
definitely long on this one, I will guess a pps of 3$ - 6 months from today
