03/15 Close was 1.781 since then gap hasn't filled...prolly Monday...a brief dip for BOIL as well...
Added some more to my stash at 13.72.
sold BOIL 14.32 ... put in order for 13.50...
I don't understand what that means...
Played with some fibs and I can see that, $2.88 is the 1.618 I get
ya adjusted buy BOIL order for 13.77...
wow...not much of a miss...BOIL has wild swings during the day I expected NG to go a little bit lower...I expect it to go back to fill the gap @ 1.789...I bot BOIL too high the other day so I'm waiting for it to fall...I could have bot into BOIl but the way this volatility is...too risky...I might have to reduce my buyin price to 13.46 in anticipation of NG filling the gap from 03/18...
Good ol swing and a miss there huh? Missed it by .10
sold BOIL 14.75 AH put in buy order BOIL $ 14.27...
Forgot to post Friday. Back in at $13.51 with 1K starter...
wouldn't reduction in gas flow increase the price of #NATGAS ??? and $BOIL ??? can you also provide a link and use the ticker BOIL in your posts so that these posts can be seen in the ticker stream???
US natural gas futures increased to $1.69/MMBtu, rebounding from a three-week low following the EIA's storage draw report. The government data showed that US utilities withdrew 9 billion cubic feet of natural gas from storage last week, surpassing market expectations of a 3 bcf draw. Additionally, CNX Resources also announced a reduction in well completions and gas production for the year due to lower prices. In the past month, US gas output has declined by 6%, with companies like EQT and Chesapeake Energy deliberately cutting production. Despite these factors, natural gas prices are expected to decrease for the second consecutive week due to an extended outage at Freeport train 3, which is restricting gas flow to LNG export facilities. The timeline for the Freeport LNG outage remains unclear, delaying a return to normal US LNG feedgas levels until the plant resumes full operations, anticipated in mid- to late-March.
Natural Gas Futures Rebound on Storage Draw, Possible Freeport LNG Restart; Cash Bounces
doesn't look like NG going any lower...that gap was the key for a reversal...looking to buy BOIL today...
A welcome bounce! I agree there is additional support testing in the near.
Careful
Maybe for a bounce, Nat gas chart show 2 more lows from what I watch and hopefully that'll be long term lows
Is 14 a good entry point?
Looks prime for buying a hand full of calls.
NG .5 cent away from filling the gap...BOIL shorts are winning until then...
NG 10 cent away from filling the gap...BOIL shorts are winning until then...
low 14s upper 13s...gap may not fill but I'm anticipating it getting close...been in KOLD since last Friday @ 127 in anticipation of this...
What’s the buy range your targeting. I looking to get back in
I can not find any correlation of those reports and NG prices...can you???
sometimes taking a break until more meaningful data presents itself is best...one thing we do know is that NG is close to it's all time lows and producers aren't happy with that...meaning 1.5 is like the floor...
No statement bugged me. My comment reflects my sentiments about the storage reports and subsequent pricing
why would that statement bug you??? NG prices are based on supply and demand...producers are cutting back to regulate the supply side...just gonna have to be patient...
I was referring to the sector.
I dont trust anything about the markets with all the chicanery.
Gl
you don't know about gap ups and having them getting filled??? BOIL will be a really good buy if the gap fills...
I seriously have NO idea. My fuel stocks got hammered in regular trading also.
Jeeeeez
I’m astonished.
This NG trading used to be more predictable.
Extended is perking up thankfully.
I was just in line at a store and heard a girl in front if me say, “did you hear its going to be in the high 70s next week?”
I just shook my head my head.
Gl
No still have that batch of high 13s. Probly should have sold holding for a money maker
what about the NG gap from 2/21...is that going to fill soon??? we will see what happens...
I'm still anticipating NG to fill the gap from 2/20...did you sell your BOIL yesterday???
Took my starter!
Risky but it’s the kind set- up I look for on this one.
$17.62 good enough for now!
See ya in s few days perhaps!
No misunderstanding, you just aren't a real trader like you think you are. I see the guys over on the nivida board have hurt and offended you as well. Poor little Oregon liberal, the real world is harsh isn't it? Still holding my high 13s
He misunderstood and thought I held shares as an investor might. Im not and dont.
Regardless, I refuse to contend with negativity from random people that know Everything. That guy is muted by many.
Thanks for being positive.
Blessings
14.63 was a good entry point BTW...
ya well, eventually NG will stop falling and there will be a good entry point for BOIL...NG is not going to a buck...everything I'm reading suggests that producers are cutting back production because supply is greater than demand...I would be surprised if BOIL fills the gap in the 13s but I'm anticipating NG goes to last week lows range to fill the gap before going back up...
this explains what the ETF is:

5 months ago was over $70 now $16 with natgas at 15 year low $1.69
It's around a 15 year support, good chance of holding but also possible gas could hit a buck. I'm just razzing Dubby the dummy as he's all talk after the action happens yet stood clueless after posting of loading the boat at $59 like a big ol dummy. Said I got my high 13s for a real bounce and have a lower order in at 12.50 just in case.
well looks like NG has gone down as far as covid crisis levels and producers are cutting back now until prices are higher...seems like BOIL is a good buy yet everytime it looks good NG gaps up in AH trading...
Is that your technical analysis? Or trying to do the math from loading the boat at $59?
NG recent low is same as Covid crisis lows...going up for most part because it's too low...producers are halting production to raise prices...we will see how BOIL goes this next week possibly dip back into high13s??? but this should be bottom for next cycle...
Congrats to those who caught this pop. Very nice day here.
Thanks brother. NG is too volatile to ride higher...
