They took out the stop losses.
Should gradually go up from here.
Again JMHO
True, I keep buying em so I'm def not complaining.
Seriously, what idiot is selling at these levels? LOL
I think so also. In anticipation of tomorrow's presentation. She should run 6 to 8 percent today. JMHO
I sure hope so.
nice to see this trend changing......was getting ready to dump!

~ Same, ABC news/AP wires
A lot of insider buys near the the 52 wk low...I will follow their lead!
The Q and CC are about as expected...Nothing immediately flashy and the market is pouting about that and pres/tweet..so , down 19%
This is a long term bet as it has always been.
Now that it's down makes this the wrong time to sell, of course.
NVDA and NVTA both are juicy prospects.
GLTA indeed.
hope the q and cc are good......I love this long term, but unless they hit a home run , I`m cutting my position in half.....might sell 10k and throw it at nvda on thurs.....getting a starter in nvda in the am if this pullback is still game in the am...glta
I agree ..just look at the patents they have....they control the future of genetic engineering
all tech has been lousy since last thurs......put up a 5 min 10 day of the xbi, and that's your answer........it doesn`t help that the morons in d.c. can`t get anything done on healthcare....I`m not to happy with it either....down about 80k in value the last few weeks..........hope she stops at 20.....gltu
Why this stock is tanking? any news?
she`s bounced off the 50 ma 3 times this week....I`m not likin what I`m seein.......think its time to jump ship!! glta
I`m pleased....up $1.35 today......on thru $30...glta.....wish I bought more than 18k on the dip last month.....can`t bitch...good day!
nice movement the last few days........heading for 30+
How kind of you...please be so gracious as to arrange that outcome good Doctor.
Well for your sake, I hope it hits $100 quicker then 10 years so you can reap the benefits of your investment
Good idea, but in 10 years i'll most probably be dead.
Guess i'm in the wrong stock, eh?
XON will be a $100 stock one day. I honestly believe that. Patience is key here. Just buy it and forget it and come back in 5-10 years and see what you have.
Dirty:
If you sold at $30, it would be too soon.
We have our fingers in a bunch of juicy developing pies.
this is one of my favorites.......got out last year during the Clinton bashing........traded this heavy in the past.....grabbed 18k on the dip 3 weeks ago, and I think I`ll sit on it for a while......it`s ready for another climb to $30
He must be !! I'm happy to be wrong :)
Might be he's really good at pushing paper?
Why are we up 9% today?
Not that we don't deserve it, but...?
I heard this too
Look intrexon is a strong company and bought my company medistem years ago
I don't think they would hire a pharmacologist scott fisher that left stem cell/gene therapy industry to work pushing paper at a data management companh
Intrexon is better then that !!!
Tom
Also- should we be honored that you made your first ever post on XON?

You have a link to this secret news of course. Would you share it with us, please?
I agree and will add anytime it dips below $20
XON already has a pretty big short interest now. Just because someone got an interview doesn't mean they will be hired.
Time to short Intrexon?? Secret news! Scott Fischer who was kicked out of stem cell industry for fraudulent data while at Biotech Company Juventas Just interviewed yesterday for a leadership position at Intrexon cardiac subsidiary Xogenex
Why would a company like Intrexon hire someone to lead cardiac gene therapy who is already blacked balled from the industry ??
I fear it'll have to wait till make a major and well accepted breakthrough with short term prospects of payoff.
I'll wait. And keep picking up shares on the dips.
I thought about adding more yesterday myself ahead of earnings but decided I had enough shares of XON. Let's just hope this is the kickstart for a decent uptrend back to the $30's or $40's.
XON up 20% on earnings.
This diverse synthetic bio company has spread it's bets over a number of very interesting projects.
Kicking myself for not buying more below $20.
Oxytec scores another city customer.
Can't help but imagine the swallows and the bats taking shifts , following the oxytec truck around, like weekend urban anglers following a trout hatchery truck.
Now we are talking!..I'm in INCY too.
Intrexon and ZIOPHARM Oncology, in an exclusive partnership with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, are advancing a unique approach to develop therapeutic candidates for two CAR-T targets expressed on a wide range of tumor types, including hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
The distinctive methodology centers on two technologies: the proprietary RheoSwitch Therapeutic System® (RTS®) platform to regulate expression of membrane-bound interleukin-15 (mbIL15) co-expressed with CARs and Sleeping Beauty non-viral gene integration.
“Sleeping Beauty and the RTS® approach are a powerful combination to improve the manufacturing process and instill control over CAR-modified T cells co-expressing cytokines such as membrane-bound IL-15. The collaboration with Intrexon and Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, has been a catalyst to progress these next-generation gene therapy technologies. We are excited by the progress and look forward to advancing this innovative approach toward the clinic in mid-2018,” said Laurence Cooper, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of ZIOPHARM.
The interleukin-15 (IL-15) cytokine is increasingly recognized as a key driver of therapeutic effect in CAR-T therapy, including in a recent Journal of Clinical Oncology publication which correlated lymphoma remissions with elevated IL-15 levels. Through the RTS® gene switch, the expression of mbIL15 can be regulated to help CARs target cancers in a controlled manner, thus providing a new paradigm in T-cell therapy.
Additionally, the non-viral Sleeping Beauty transposon-transposase is an exceptional system for introducing genes encoding CARs and TCRs into T cells that holds multiple advantages over viral-based delivery systems. It simplifies genetic modification, and when coupled with reduced ex vivo processing, offers a pathway to shortened manufacturing and personalized T-cell therapies
Kirk Has a great eye for acquisitions and a long term perspective on their pay off.
The advantage GNVC will enjoy in XON is access to XON's brilliant researchers and synthetic biology expertise. As well as the larger companies financial backing.
XON is a bit like a bio-mutual fund as you noted, with a real diversity of bets.
So many of my small bios are almost one trick ponies that rise or fall on the fate of their lead product.
I'm not currently a shareholder, but I do have some GNVC which should eventually become XON. When I look at what people are saying here, no one seems to care about the GNVC acquisition.
XON to me looks almost more like a mutual fund than a stock, as it's comprised of many very dissimilar companies. It's different from anything I've invested in before, but it's my intention to hold GNVC at least until the time it becomes XON, or they cancel the deal.
For the longest time you could multiply the XON price by .297 and arrive at nearly GNVC's price, normally just a few pennies higher. Recently it seems that even greater value is being given to GNVC, which seems to indicate that their is a growing belief that Novartis will pay at least the $5 million milestone for starting a Phase 2B Trial with the hearing drug in the 36 months after the acquisition by XON, this will equate to a little over $1 per GNVC shareholders at the time of the acquisition.
On occasions I've actually seen GNVC at less than .297 X XON. If I were interested in holding XON, I'd look to buy GNVC when it's priced that way. I believe the odds are at least even that you'll see that Novartis payment, and I believe that long term the hearing drug may prove one of XON's greatest assets.
Gary
Agreed. The CEO is a genius and he has hired a whole lot of extremely bright and creative folks. He even lets them play in the labs on a regular basis.
The place is bulging with potential...Looks like an excellent bet to me.
Lots of disruptive technology going on with XON. It takes time to convince/show the world and the power mongers that are profiting from the current practices that XON has a better way. Patience WILL pay off here in the long run. In the meantime XON will continue to be a very volatile stock. Long XON
With the fat multitude of potentially profitable pies XON has their fingers in,
it's hard to understand why the PPS keeps sinking.
No big study failures that i know of.
The real Yoyo is their recent spinoff AQB which is up 21% today.
Still, in most smaller bios, when good news jerks the string...up we go.
Then slowly sink again.
OTOH, this administration is hardly pro science and XON is all about cutting edge science...That could well handicap us badly.
Bill Miller didn't say that XON came attached to a yo-yo like what we have seen in the past year.
I'm bunch of bios, mostly smaller, and it's a lot like riding a Yoyo..
Gotta confess i'm tempted and a number of times felt dumb for not taking profits at the peaks...But i find i'm not good at it.
I've been in and out a few times but I promise you that a few traders aren't muffling XON performance. Though I do believe in your logic wholeheartedly. Something is bound to stick at some point. Good luck man!
You guys are nuisance for us LTBH folks, but, good luck.
I think i'll pickup a few more shares at this depressed level to lower my total cost per share.
XON has so many irons in the fire that a few of them are sure to come through for us.
