Right. I'm sure JBII will pay a higher fine than Xerox did which was a world record at the time for 6 years of actual revenue and earnings fraud in the billions.
Sure. Uh huh.
Here's the first random example I found via Google of a "private placement" fraud allegation from the SEC. $2.9 million private placement -- company agreed to give back $242,339 including interest or less than 10% of it:
http://sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/2011/lr21808.htm
And if you read the case -- that's REAL fraud. Not a single line accounting error from 3 years ago. The entire private placement was accused of being a represented fraud.
The notion that JBII will have a fine as big as Xerox, which had years of severe earnings accounting fraud, is just laughable.
1) Not any longer
2) Will be settled for peanuts
3) Not
4) Appears to be working pretty spiffy on multiple videos and from first hand viewers including myself.
That's not what I said.
"On The Discovery Chanel last evening (Daily Planet) they featured a computer scrapping company that was reducing PC waste to it's basic elements, and then using a not-so-magic catalyst and an oven-tank, to convert the scrap plastic into 300 gallons per day of high-grade diesel fuel, to run the plant. It's important to note that as the price of crude rose, the market for garbage plastic rose. The 'mined' copper was what made the whole process viable. Johnny-come-lately has no contingency for having to actually pay for scrap plastic."

"They" refers to ("Daily Planet"). "On the Discovery Channel last evening" refers to where to find "Daily Planet" (on the Discovery Channel).
Nice one Legion.. you reference your own post on which you yourself claim a company that appeared on the Daily Planet segment was indeed "featured" "on The Discovery Chanel".
You are right Gooey, they probably will settle
And the settlement terms will likely be disgorgement of the $9 million +- in pipe financing, plus a civil fine of $9 million +-, plus pre-judgement interest, probably in the neighborhood of about $200K+-, an injunction barring all defendants from future violations of security laws, and a 5-10 year public company director ban against JB & RB. That's a pretty standard settlement in this kind of thing.
It doesn't matter a rat's ass which channel JBI was on. JBI could have been on the Playboy Channel, and it wouldn't change the facts:
1) JBI losing +$1.5 MILLION/Month
2) JBI and Bordynuik are being sued by the SEC for securities fraud and accounting fraud.
3) JBII's share price is headed down.
4) Bordynuik's fairytale, about having found a magic catalyst on a 1970 magnetic tape that lets him convert plastic to oil for a total cost of $10/bbl, appears to be a fraudulent lie.
I think having Agilyx as a competitor is a good thing. When investors and analysts compare these two companies in the future, they will be blown away by to competitive advantage JBI will have regarding quality and quantity of output fuel as well as the cost of production being so much less. Agilyx needs oil to be over $80 a barrel........doesn't sound like very good profit margins at all!!!
IMO, JBI wins the race long term!!!!
GO JBI!!!
"Bear Grills" is featured on the Discovery Channel, along with "Mike Rowe", "Gold Rush" and a litany of other shows including "Daily Planet".
JBI had a short segment on the featured show "Daily Planet". JBI wasn't featured on the Discovery Channel. Just because links from "Daily Planet" a featured Discovery Channel show, does not mean that JBI was featured on the Discovery Channel.
There really is no nuance here. It is was it is, and there is no need to aggrandize it further.
Hmm.......I think that spells D I S C O V E R Y C H A N N E L ...........z
Interesting excerpts from that old post.
"On The Discovery Chanel last evening (Daily Planet) they featured.... "
So back in 2010 being on Daily Planet WAS considered being on the Discovery Channel.
and this funny tidbit.
"Johnny-come-lately has no contingency for having to actually pay for scrap plastic."
LOL! Nope, still free.
Did you all notice how that P2O BEAST was just loving all that plastic on the film. Just gobbling it down. And can you imagine all that lovely oil coming out the other end?? With a fantastic 86% conversation rate I'm feeling very upbeat about the Q1 report!!
They may have featured Agilyx, I don't know. I did see another company who turned waste plastic into fuel, and was featured on Daily Planet back in 2010-
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=52723377
So legion how come they didn't feature agilpoo then?
The media listed, with the possible exception of CNN, aren't likely to run a story based solely on the process. They are business media, not science media.
I have no doubt that the share price will explode over the next year, I have emailed a few of those large investors myself.

"CNN, CNBC, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Barrons, and from the lips of Maria....".
Given their audiences, if those entities mentioned JBI they would be obligated by their editorial mission to mention the SEC complaint and the reason for it.
Do you really think that their readers and viewers would just look past that?
I disagree. A 5min film is not going to persuade the really large investors. They will be waiting to see the financial results over the next year or so. Until they step in I doubt if the sp will rise that much.
I also would have preferred if Bordynuik stopped with the hyperbole, announcing himself as "The inventor of the plastic to oil process".
http://www.npr.org/2012/03/19/147506525/startup-converts-plastic-to-oil-and-finds-a-niche
This waste comes from landfills and dumps from all over the United States.
"Basically, they've been mining their piles for us and sending them here," says John Bordynuik, who heads his namesake company, JBI Inc. He invented a process that converts plastic into oil by rearranging its hydrocarbon chains.
[...]
According to tests by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation, JBI's patented technology is efficient, with close to 90 percent of plastics coming out as fuel. Bordynuik says that makes the case for this kind of recycling to go mainstream.[...]
The Stigma Of An 'Alternative Fuel' Label
And Bordynuik says it has been hard to find acceptance from potential oil buyers because JBI's product has been dubbed a "green fuel."
"We don't make a synthetic 'other' product that has problems," he says. "We make an in-spec fuel like everyone else. If anything, the word 'alternative' has a stigma attached to it, more so because of prior attempts."
[...]
http://www.npr.org/2012/03/19/147506525/startup-converts-plastic-to-oil-and-finds-a-niche
Actually agylix did process some plastic into near oil. I think it took them 10 years to do 1 million POUNDS of plastic.
That's enough fuel to run a radio controlled model for an hour every week for 10 years.
Or a cup of fuel a day.
Or just enough fuel to burn those space suits they have to wear after they become contaminated from their toxic process.
The one little comment I loved was made to the Plastics Expert on the way to view the processors....." lets go see our second Processor which is up and running".....Now THAT was JUCIY..!!!! Juicy as in " Fuel baby,,,,Texas tea....".....And that means major $$$$$$$$$$$.......!!!!
discovery channel doesnt risk its reputation on pump and dump scams
Sorry guy
Why so protective of Agylix? Don't you know they're just a seedy little scam?
Bullshit: http://watch.discoverychannel.ca/#clip641572

Hmm.......I think that spells D I S C O V E R Y C H A N N E L ...........z
This PUMP-AND-DUMP cycle barely lasted a full hour. That's pretty strong evidence that the JBI scam is in its 'sunset hours'.
If this little segment on Juicy John and his Magic Goo Machine had been aired a year ago, JBI would have spiked up for days.
JBII on CNN, CNBC, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Barrons, and from the lips of Maria.........any one of those will skyrocket us.........z
The business media that aims to provide information and not just entertainment, actually does some basic DD. They only cover Agilyx and never JBI.
For example:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelkanellos/2012/03/15/a-new-player-in-oil-the-garbage-dump/
Most Canadian households have discovery and that piece will be aired for years to come. Looking forward to seeing it as a rerun years from now and being able to visit the local p2o machine as it eats waste plastic that used to be landfilled!
So legion how come they didn't feature agilpoo then?
How many JBI employees did you see wearing gas masks?
Pro video won't hide the obvious...LMAO!
No it's not. Daily Planet owns the video, and I'm not aware of any other television shows that re-broadcast Daily Planet's work.
It is quite common for these types of segments to be picked up by other affiliates in many countries around the world
Daily Planet does top-notch video work. It's not "JBII's" video.
If Daily Planet featured Agilyx's process, the video work would be equally top-notch.
Your comparison is between Daily Planet's professional video work, and Agilyx's in-house amateur video, therefore a meaningless comparison.
JBII's video vs. Agilyx's video. Watch them side by side for a good laugh.
10 TIDBITS FROM THE 10K
(just 10 items I found interesting that haven't been mentioned much here so far)
(1) "As at March 16, 2012, we have not found any issues with the continuous operation of our second processor"
(2) "In December 2011, we also signed a long-term fuel supply agreement with Indigo Energy Partners, LLC, a wholesale distributor of petroleum products and renewable fuels in the U.S., under which we recently began selling “off-take” fuel oil No. 6."
(3) "We collect waste plastics, at no charge, from commercial and industrial business that generate large amounts of this waste stream. Furthermore, such waste plastic is delivered to us by such businesses at no cost to us."
(4) "Metals are also removed during residue removal and are valuable to local metal recyclers."
(5) "We anticipate that fuel produced on-site by a P2O processor will be sold to industrial partners or third parties at a [B]price comparable to the market rate for such fuel."
(6) "Prior to year-end, the former employee settled the dispute with us and agreed to pay us $250,813"
(7) "Management’s highest priority continues to be bringing additional processors online so we can become cash flow positive."
(8) "We have retained contractors to perform building and installation of utilities and other necessities to run our processors on site at the first RockTenn location. The site has an existing pad and small building already in place, which will be used for P2O operations. In preparation for the construction of the first processors, we have hired and trained new operators and fabricators in Niagara for future relocation to the initial RockTenn site."
(9) "The Company received an additional $495,000 for further subscriptions for 495,000 units under this private placement during January 2012."
(10) "We have applied for International Patent Protection for our Plastic2Oil process in its entirety. Our catalyst and knowhow are being safeguarded as trade secrets, as a measure to ensure their confidentiality."
Well said popsicle. The list of validators just keeps growing and soon JBI will laugh in the face of those entities that wish to bring it down.Considering the amount of negative that is thrown at this company and for it to continue with it's business plan speaks volumes for the process and all the employees from the top on down.
Well done JB and JBI.
JBI story is getting out.
http://watch.discoverychannel.ca/#clip641572
FEED THE BEAST
It was an excellent presentation. It doesn't validate anything however, as that isn't Daily Planet's mission.
I would have preferred in Ziya didn't present the blue box at the opening of the segment. I also would have preferred if Bordynuik stopped with the hyperbole, announcing himself as "The inventor of the plastic to oil process". He may have "invented" the "P2O process" complete with a trademark, but the viewer was led to believe by Bordynuik that he had invented the process of pyrolyzing plastic into various fuels.
Word's getting out legion, wider audience, less control by message boards.
The "magic goo" is spec fuel. The kind end user's use.
Nah. JBI was on the Discovery Chan plain and simple.....if you need the link to watch the video lemme know....just videoin'
Bump. nice video
It would need to be an independent "feature" presentation, and entirely based on JBI, to "be featured on the Discovery Channel".
Again, the JBI segment, specifically the "P2O" process, was featured on "Daily Planet" a daily science magazine television show in Canada, that is featured on the Discovery Channel.
ROFL! Sorry but JBI was featured on the Discovery Channel which is composed of a variety of shows.....Daily Planet is one of them...HILARIOUS!
So it turns out that raggertail which was supposed to bring JBII to its knees because we couldn't process it, can in fact be processed and actually results in even more profit?
Fascinating.
Just can't wait, I have this strong feeling that the tide has finally turned, I think everything will speed up now, and the next few Months will be very exiting, I feel like a 5 year old kid the day before Christmas, please bring some good presents John.
GLTA.

When we attack Iran, oil prices will skyrocket. It's already starting. Gas close to $5 now, and will go higher. Good News for JBII.........z
Nice one Raw. There really is no comparison . Did they even show what comes out of the Agilgoo machine or mention anything about their emissions. How much does it cost to make a barrel of goo. Mmmm.
JBI is a no brainer and towers above the rest IMHO
ANYONE? NO?....ok here's the answer....notice that pre melt is fed with an auger? Any idea of the POWER of an auger feed? Augers and the casing they reside in are made from hardened steel and will GRIND TO BITS anything you put in them. So chunk that ragger in there and it will turn it to mush and feed it right in. The plastic melts and the metal remains....you back the metal out from time to time and SELL IT....just augerin'
What is the stock symbol for Agylix? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Oh that's right they are a private company that I can't profit off of...but then again THEY don't have profits either. I also don't see anywhere in that piece where they talk about the customers that they have long term contracts with. But why would you need customers if your system is second rate.
NEXT!!!
You are joking, right?? LOL Sometimes one cannot see the trees through the forest. If this was poker, I wouldn't want to be betting my hand into a royal flush. I love days like today!
The third processor will be online "in the near future".
That's pretty much any day now.
tickity toc.....

here comes the shake
How is Juicy Johnny's SEC legal defense coming?
Does he have a legal strategy yet to keep from losing his job?
Is the company paying for the legal defense of their fired CFO?
I noticed the company has retained at least three $600 an hour attorneys... were legal expenses defined as "material" in the company's recently released SEC filing?
Ah yes the barbeque has been lit, the fire will now get bigger and bigger, with John stoking the fire for the next very long time. NPR Monday, Discovery channel 2 days later, I wonder what will be next, maybe a PR about the third processor or the first site for Rock Tenn! Who knows, however I am quite exited to see what’s next.
I am already dreaming of owning my own Island LOLOLOLOLOLOl.
