The one in the gay sandals, that's what's so upsetting.
I do like the three remotes (arr arr arr), and the pillow decor is okay by my eyes.
Did you read all the compliments down below? I think he stuffed his own forum.
burp: Keep the board count up, I'm going to bed... with Nezzar!
But what are they drinking?
That does look an awful lot like me. Except for those gay sandals.
I thought you might be a reincarnation... or a clone! Guess what they're drinking! http://www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=32302
My user number here is #22898, so I'm in the 50% club, but no, I was no founding member.
OK, sandcrab, were you onboard for the launching of the USS ihub?
No, but I have a sailboat. Was that a nautical question of some sort?
Are you a plank holder?
Pretty cool, huh? Posting images is one of the great things about iHub.
Too easy! How can I ever repay you? I'm fresh outta beer!
Put this in the iBox, minus the # characters

How do I do that? No, I don't know nibbler!
I didn't realize CHK was Chesapeake...I'd looked at it before, a long time ago.
Oh Geez....You're a clone of Burp's ...or he's your clone.
Unless you're twins.
Two of you...
I'm way out of my depth here!
Don't wait... buy PEC & CHK now. They'll be hard to catch later! Then you can go on vacation permanently!
Thanks SM...I appreciate your opinion.
I knew about CPN's problems...posted a recent article about it on their board.
When I get back (leaving on vacation in the morning)...perhaps we can discuss this sector some more.
As far as hermatile goes, I don't think it's in the dictionary. I believe we made it up way back in HS during mid-60s. I think it is a corruption of hermaphrodite and reptile. It would translate as "squirming like a reptile".
JC says buy oil and natural gas stocks regardless of where oil and natural gas prices are headed. That said...
EP - I'm getting mixed signals on this one. I've left it alone.
CPN - Not good - Calpine Deal Shelved; CEO Sells; New offering shelved impacts Calpine's near-term liquidity. Access to the proceeds from the natural gas assets cut off by Bank of New York because of dispute between bondholders and Calpine. Coupled with the $400 million preferred deal now being off the table, it means Calpine is going to have to find new sources of cash to fund its $750 million in second-half interest payments, buy natural gas, make about $100 million in maintenance capital expenditures and cover two debt repayments totaling $173 million during the remainder of the year.
Got more homework to do on ILA & MDU.
So let me ask you what you think of EP, CPN, ILA? And then there's MDU.
Not familiar with CHK or ECA...but the little bit I read about PEC interests me a great deal.
Dang...rarely do I have to run to the dictionary...
..."hermatile" ...without looking I'd bet it means berserk!
Trying real hard to get in! JC went hermatile over PEC today. He put it over CHK and ECA, two energy plays he takes to bed each night. Now that's saying something! Move over honey, I brought some friends! BOOYA!
With all the electrical distribution and transmission systems needing fixing from Mss. Katrina & Rita, and all the power grid needing upgrading throughout the land, PEC is perfect. I know the utility business, and it needs a lot more PECs. BOOYA!
Now if only I can get in before the next leg up!
ANOTHER new board.
I didn't listen to JC tonight...but I do like the sector.
You in?
Pike Electric Mobilizes Crews for Hurricane Rita Restoration Effort
<PR, 9/26/05>
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/050926/nym073.html?.v=22
MOUNT AIRY, N.C., Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pike Electric Corporation (NYSE: PEC - News), one of the nation's largest providers of outsourced electric distribution and transmission services, today announced that approximately 1,500 Pike Electric crew members, supervisors and support staff from 18 states are involved in the Hurricane Rita restoration efforts at this time. Rita made landfall early Saturday morning as a strong category 3 hurricane which pounded the coasts of Louisiana and Texas. Although many crews were released from the Hurricane Katrina restorations less than a week ago, approximately 300 Pike personnel were continuing restoration efforts in the Gulf region prior to Rita's landfall.
Although some initial reports indicate damage left by Rita is not as widespread as Katrina, outage reports continue to rise as utilities evaluate the overall damage to their systems. It is likely that more crews will be mobilized next week and restoration efforts could last up to several more weeks with this latest storm.
Pike's storm center has not closed since August 24th and will remain open 24/7 until restoration efforts are completed and Pike line crews have returned home, many of which have already served on Tropical Storm Cindy, Hurricane Dennis as well as Hurricane Katrina during this year's hurricane season alone.

INVESTMENT OUTLOOK FOR 2010
RealMoney.com says "We will be watching for opportunities to develop in infrastructure stocks. There is always talk of government spending to rebuild and repair our highways, bridges and water and electric systems. It has not happened yet, but at some point it has to occur. The economy has delayed the process, but it cannot be delayed forever. The electric grid needs to be upgraded in the next decade to deliver electricity more efficiently and cheaply. Roads and bridges cannot be allowed to fall into permanent disrepair. Stocks such as Pike Electric will ultimately benefit from this spending. This is not an 'if' selection. It is a matter of when. The key will be buying these names at the right price and holding for the long run."
This discussion board is not affilitaed with Pike Electric, Inc. It is operated soley by Pike shareholders. Last update: 1/2010.
