These ADRs are worthless. Don't buy the momo. They need to find a greater fool to sell to now. Add to shorts here.
Hi, this stock has been trending upwards recently... Any advice on whether I should buy now or wait?
fiscal quarter that is for owners of the stock 6/12 paid in august sometime around 75 cents i believe so stock is overpriced above 11.00 to me i had a buy set at 9.50 it dropped to 9.60 dammit
right then its 2 shares for u.s. for one share brazilian i was just told now it makes more sense but looks like around .75 USD for the quarter?
Wait that’s not right.. lol
I guess I’ll let you know in August, next dividend payout
57 cents in the dollar, quarterly
57% OF THE CURRENT PRICE PER QUARTER????somehow does not seem right?? that would be 6.58 ....perhaps 57% per year you mean??..but even going by that metric last year was around 33% and i BELIEVE we are heading south of that at this point??
I believe it was approx 19% a month. Paid quarterly or 57% for the quarter.
REALLY confusing fiscal quarter versus actual quarter BRL versus USD etc etc so what is the date to hold shares for next dividend and how much is next dividend in USD????
Anyone get the 1/26/2023 DIVI payment today?

If we will wins what does that mean loss of dividend or what I'm not sure what the hell's going on here. Current leader is not going to win most likely. Socialist agenda suggests payments go for the programs versus the dividends. Any questions I'm not sure what the hell is happening so anybody have any insight throw it out there. Thanks same thing with ggb another resilient company dealing with steel. Please allow up here this has to do with the election coming up on the end of the month to change everything both companies are in Brazil. I'm just looking at the concept

Any thoughts on the following info from the 6K of May 6?
Strong cash generation, solid liquidity and the outlook for sustainable results allowed the Company to approve shareholder remuneration in the amount of R$ 3.72 per outstanding common and preferred share.
I assume that is in Brazilian currency which with a 1/5 reduction to turn it into US dollars gives $0.744 per share.

After a conversation with Kuwaiti diplomats in Brasília, President Jair Bolsonaro (without a party) said that the price of oil should rise. In his assessment, this demonstrates the need for a change in command at Petrobras. The president met with Kuwait's ambassador to Brazil, Nasser Riden Almotairi, around lunchtime today. The country is one of the largest oil producers in the world. Upon leaving, the president said that the Arabs are not satisfied with the price of the product
"They think the price is not yet adequate and we could see an increase in oil in the coming weeks," the president said today. "This complicates for us and reinforces our interest in effectively changing the president of Petrobras because we want to - not interfere as we never did. Now, Petrobras can collaborate with other agencies in combating cartels, adulterating fuels, the issue of to diversify the refineries issue as much as possible ... ", he enumerated .... -

$PBR Petrobras' transfer of rights oil settlement OK'd by Brazil Senate
Brazil's Senate last night approved the amended transfer of rights agreement between Petrobras (PBR +4.6%) and the government, settling a dispute over pre-salt oil fields that still must pass the lower house to clear way the way for auctions later this year.
The federal government will pay the company $9B, while states and municipal governments will each get 15% of the ~$25B expected from the auctions.
Separately, PBR reports it produced 3M boe/day on average in August, including 2.2M boe/day from Brazil's pre-salt area.
$PBR Petrobras may raise $2.5B in privatization of fuel distribution unit
Petrobras (NYSE:PBR) says it may raise as much as 9.6B reais ($2.5B) in the privatization of its BR Distribuidora fuel distribution unit.
In an offering priced late yesterday, shares were sold at 24.50 reais each, allowing the oil company to immediately raise 8.5B reais.
The sale of the base offering and additional allotment would reduce PBR's stake in the unit to 41.25%, and a full divestment of the supplementary allotment over the next few weeks would cut the company's stake to 37.5%.
BR Distribuidora owns 17.7% of all the gas stations in Brazil.
I read this company was filing bankruptcy

PBR is back on the move ~ upwards
Lcbm
the problem is that PBR trades with the price of oil. There have been a number of deal and partnership rumors but nothing that has given major moves.
So a safer play is options. And EWZ the Brazil ETF
Is the China buyout news gonna send the price to the moon?

$PBR Petrobras plans $2B capital injection into fuel distribution arm
Petrobras (PBR +0.4%) says it will add 6.3B reais ($2B) of fresh capital into its Brazilian fuel distribution arm, cleaning up its balance sheet in an effort to attract investors to an IPO.
The money from the capital injection would solve a long-standing problem with Eletrobras (EBR -1%), and may finally free up the planned IPO of the Petrobras Distribuidora unit that has been frequently delayed since it was first proposed in 2015.
After years of supplying fuel for thermal power plants held by the state-controlled power utility, PBR has amassed overdue bills worth ~10.4B reais in different subsidiaries; part of the debt will now be transferred to another PBR unit which will later be consolidated by the parent company.
$PBR Petrobras says Libra test production could start by late September
Petrobras (PBR +3.9%) says oil production from the first rig to operate in the offshore Libra area should start in late September or October, after technical problems delayed officials' previous forecast of a July start.
The PBR-led consortium had problems connecting the well to the rig, as it prepares the extended duration production test with a view to initially produce 30K bbl/day of oil per day.
Separately, a Brazilian federal court temporarily halts PBR's sale of a 50% stake in thermal power station operator TermoBahia to Total (TOT +1.5%), which was part of a $2.2B deal signed in December as part of a strategic alliance between the two companies.
Finally, Brazilian prosecutors today filed corruption and money laundering charges against former PBR CEO Aldemir Bendine; he has been under arrest since late July for his alleged role in the crime.
$PBR Brazil prosecutors to probe Petrobras Argentina sale, lawyer says
Prosecutors investigating Brazil's corruption scandal will probe last year's sale of Petrobras' (PBR, PZE) Argentine subsidiary of Petrobras, says a lawyer representing the state oil company's minority shareholder.
PBR sold its 67.2% stake in Petrobras Argentina in May 2016 for $892M to Pampa Energia, after buying the Argentine unit from Perez Companc in 2002 for $1B, plus $2B in debt.
Aldemir Bendine, PBR'S CEO at the time of the sale, was jailed last month on suspicion he received bribes from the Odebrecht construction firm, part of the scandal that has led to the arrest of dozens of executives and politicians.
$PBR Reuters: Brazil weighing gasoline tax hike
Brazil's government may announce a tax increase on gasoline to help meet this year's budget target amid the country's slow economic recovery, Reuters reports.
Finance Ministry officials are weighing the impact of the potential measure before an official announcement tomorrow, according to the report, which cites a government source.
The thinking is that gasoline tax increases would have little inflationary impact after successive price cuts by state-controlled oil company Petrobras (PBR +1.9%), and would help ethanol producers become more competitive after years of heavy losses in the biofuel industry.
