Perf Go Green Holdings, Inc. Issues Business Update
May 15, 2009 9:27:00 AM
2009 GlobeNewswire, Inc.
View Additional ProfilesNEW YORK, May 15, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Perf Go Green Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:PGOG) (www.perfgogreen.com), the leader in biodegradable plastic products and everyday green solutions, completed their first year of business March 31, 2009 and have experienced credible growth and new brand awareness. First quarter of 2009 opened with the Retailers' Choice Award from the National Hardware Show. Consumers, Retailers and Corporate America are embracing Perf Go Green. Green is no longer a marginalized issue in the United States.
The resounding conclusion of a survey done by Landor Associates (2008) is that the American population no longer views the issues surrounding green as the concern of a small number of environmental fanatics living on the outskirts of society. Green has become an issue for all Americans and they are changing their individual behaviors to contribute to the solution. As green becomes more personal, consumers expect demonstrations of a similar commitment and concern from corporate America, the media and the government. Green investments will be rewarded -- green brands are perceived as higher quality, driving more non-users towards consideration. Perf Go Green is expanding a niche brand in an attractive sector of the eco-friendly market.
We can be seen in Retailers representing 70,000 stores and continue growing with our original retailers that were the first to embrace our brand: Walgreens, Bashas' Supermarkets, Shaw's Supermarkets, Sprouts Farmer's Market, Hy-Vee Supermarkets, Meijer, Do it Best Hardware Stores, True Value, Hardware Hank, United Hardware Distributors, Bostwick-Braun, Amazon.com, Drugstore.com, Nash Finch Wholesale Food Distributors, Kehe Food Distributors and Associated Food Distributors.
Our commercial line of biodegradable plastic trash bags are now being used at a number of Hotels: Westin Times Square, The New York Grand Hyatt, Joie de Vivre Hotels which is the largest boutique hotel collection in California and The London West Hollywood Hotel. Lehigh Valley Hospital and the Health Network have gone green with Perf Go Green. Every Six Flags Theme Park across the country now boasts eco-friendly trash cans with Perf Go Green biodegradable trash bags. We are now distributing Perf Go Green Commercial products through major distributors across the country including Five Star Distributors, Inc., Blue Ribbon Supply and Edward Don & Company.
New retail and commercial product categories with huge growth opportunities have launched in Q2, 2009. Perf Go Green premiered PerfPower(tm) Alkaline Batteries that are completely free of lead, mercury and cadmium, that's 0%! PerfPower(tm) Alkaline Batteries and packaging are made with recycled materials and are recyclable, and best of all we are offering the very first totally free online recycling initiative for PerfPower(tm) Batteries. Now that's truly sustainable! Check us out at www.irecycled.com. Initial conversations with a number of classes of trade are embracing this new strategy. The State of California and many other areas of the country have now BANNED all batteries from their landfills! And we agree: No battery should ever make its way into our landfills. By the way, our Battery Recycling Partner is located in the USA.
Perf Go Clean(tm) all natural and sustainable cleaning products will be ready to ship at the end of May. Our five powerful cleaning products are pharmaceutical grade, BIOBASED and NSF certified. Perf Go Green has put the power of nanotechnology into your hands with microscopic electrical charged particles. This nanotechnology and a formula of plant-based ingredients allow Perf Go Clean(tm) Products to effectively cut through dirt and grime and emulsify organic matter. Our packaging materials, including the sprayer, are made with 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. Perf Go Clean(tm) Cleaning Products are grown and made in the USA!
As we look at new product development, products must meet our specific criteria in order to come under the Perf Go Green brand. One, they must have a truly sustainable life cycle from the development stage to the absolute disposal of that product. It must be completely recyclable and reusable in another product, or biodegradable returning to nature, leaving nothing harmful behind. Two, there must be a need in the marketplace to replace a product that currently pollutes the environment or is harmful to the planet. To this point, we now offer biodegradable commercial pallet or shrink-wrap. Traditionally, shrink-wrap is a one-time use product that then lasts for hundreds of years in a landfill. Our initial conversations with Corporate America have been very enthusiastic and well received.
Perf Go Green continues to create everyday green solutions that will ensure healthy environments and vibrant communities for families, individuals, children and pets. We are a growth company with a very bright future.

errrrrrrrrrrr uhhhhhhhhhhh
so busted!
Are you following me???
Go Green, Go PGOG!
yep, imo they are doing great things.
They got the 10 mil they needed, great news.
the bounce that you talk about will come if they show a signicant upturn in revenues. they showed 462000the last three months and 888000 for nine months. this is great for a first year startup pink (or what ever it is). if it keeps growing at that rate we are in luck.
Trying to build on my stem cell right now and see this going down to 22 or 25 at some time soon(not being negative but its the market).I think the MM will take what they can get at this point. Im gunna watch its low and try to grab a position. The only thing that stinks about this is it could have to be a long hold before the bounce I PREDICT....My Opinion.
Im all over it how about you
Lets just say that the debt is big. I agree that they will catch up but there is in my opinion a dollar difference is a consumers eyes is enough to make most still buy their glad trash bags. Glad may choose to make a somewhat same bag or just buy this up. This will not happen for a while but when the GREEN talk is hyped up again this is going to bounce. Take the profit on the hype and hopefully hold on to some free shares.
Thats my opinion... make it so it wont matter what they do for a while and sit back. The thing thats bothers anyone is sitting in stagnant water.
PGOG is a good idea and will get more recognition when the time is right.
GLTA
they are supposed to be in Wal Marts in the spring
they are not a pink, they are on the otcbb, sec regulated. Also, they have aquired over 20 mil in debt. not saying i dont want them to succeed, i am a shareholder, but they need something big to happen. They will be diluting if they do not get a financing deal, thats for sure. i dont mind holding this for a while, but according to eval of financials released, company will have a hard time succeeding under current conditions.
please, give this company some time. oviously people are new to start ups and the pinks. this company has revenues(444,000) for one quarter. possible 2million for the next year or more. most pinks have taken in millions with no revenue no merchandise just an hope and a prayer. 40 million shares is nothing. most pinks deal in the billions of shares . this company is all of one year old. lets cut them a little slack .
A former politican on the board?? Not a good sign!!!

I think you are thinking what I am thinking. You do know that CT is trying to get biodegradable as a must buy and things will be put into play for theh GREEN life when our new leader has time to attack that. Mr O wants a Bang of a list of things accompished some good some maybe not soo good but hes not one that will be sitting down doing nothing. That was started as talk back in tha DIAAF days and they also were testing a biodegradable bottle which I have no clue whats going on there now. Anyways I think can further thier pps by taking on perf and keeping the name even.
PGOG...dazzle us!!!
yep, best case would be glad buying the product.
This whole thing seems to be a horror show for a startup. Im not really sure whats going on but if I could borrow all the cash they did and wrote about how they are lucky they are in operation and for how long. OMG this is supposed to be a startup and knowledge of it being a reform of another is disturbing as all heck.
I will still keep this on the radar. Could say that the cheap shares and a potential buyout would be super sweet if someone wants the name/debt/
yep, financials looked pretty bad. Company needs a 10million loan to stay afloat. Hopefully they'll figure something out. Not sure how they spent soooo much money getting this company set up.
Finances looking not soo good. Maybe want to hold off a year to see if they are still going to be around. Im hoping for the best here.
GLTA holding
As I have posted before they did receive 700k from V finance alone which I am sure will have to pay back plus some. Who knows what they owe to who. This is the first year and yes I do believe they will do well.
I am thinking of in my spare time finding out how our trash these days is actually handled. This all is based on what I think and not exactly going to be fact but the trash as I see it is smooshed and then it really must get seperated somewhat before they dump it. They tried to enforce the recycle plan a couple years ago with those blue bins but in my city it was pretty much ignored and no one squaked about it at all.
The Pacific Ocean ....Plastic Soup is interesting and depressing but LAW will have to step in at some point and I have no idea when.
PGOG has the right idea and hopefully the right start time out of the gate.
once again GL
agree, on one condition, they stop releasing Form S1/A's stating they are releasing more shares... but I guess that can be expected from a new company. I have a feeling that we will pleasantly suprised with financials this year.
Market penetration will bring the price down to the same as the one next to it. For those holding now IMHO in one years time you will be very happy.
Buy on dips sell on highs.
Sleeepy
Yeah, I found some at walgreens as well, bought them, they are good bags. You can get them for a little cheaper online.
Just Reporting in that... I actually saw PGOG on the shelves at Walgreens in Boston,Ma area.
Goodluck all.... I will keep my eyes and ears open.
The pricing of the bags were 7.00 compared to the one next to it for 6.00.
Thats all for now but I figured that would be good news for you guys/gals holding.
PGOG, imo, will be a great company. Wish I bought more when it was in the .20's and .30's. I had bought in earlier when it was over a buck, but then they dumped shares to pay for services which is why stock is where it is. Once they show an upward trend in their numbers, stock could get back to those earlier levels. GL

Perf Go Green Holdings, Inc. (``Perf Go Green'' or ``the Company'') is focused on the global distribution and marketing of oxo-biodegradable plastic products that are eco-friendly, nontoxic, and compliant with ASTM D6954-04 and food contact standards. During 2008, the Company launched and marketed a total of seven biodegradable plastic products, comprising three varieties of household trash bags, plastic drop cloths, Doggie Duty(tm) bags, cat pan liners, and commercial trash bags -- all of which biodegrade and incorporate recycled plastics.
To accelerate the degradation process, Perf Go Green's plastic products are manufactured using a prodegradant additive. Based on environmental claims made by the manufacturer of the additive, Perf Go Green believes that its products are degradable in a landfill setting within 12 to 24 months, leaving behind no toxic residue. As such, the Company anticipates that its products can offer a practical and viable solution to minimize plastic waste in the global environment.
To promote consumer awareness about Perf Go Green and its products, the Company is currently implementing a diverse marketing campaign, including television, radio, national print, and online marketing, as well as search engine optimization and retail store promotions. Perf Go Green has also established a nonprofit foundation, called Go Green 21.0, to foster and promote green education initiatives worldwide. Based on agreements with major national retailers, Perf Go Green has launched products in over 22,000 retail stores to date. Headquartered in New York City, the Company began trading on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (OTC.BB) in May 2008.
