UPDATED 3/11/2007 4:20PM EDT This board is intended for the discussion of technical analysis with specific focus on the use of Woodies CCI on penny stocks. NO CURRENT STOCK CHARTS WILL EVER BE POSTED HERE, AND WILL BE DELETED BY ME IF I SEE THEM POSTED. The ONLY stock charts that I will allow and encourage to be publicly posted are stock charts that reflect NO current data from within the past 2 months. The only exceptions to this rule are current charts of indexes and ETF's like the QQQQ and QID. All charts posted here will minimally reflect *all* of the components of the current Woodies CCI method, or they will be deleted. If you're not sure what these components are, then don't post a chart. Below you will find a list of the key indicators and components of Woodies CCI. If you want to talk about other indicators outside of the realm of Woodies CCI, then keep your post in text format, or post a chart that includes Woodies CCI components along with your non-Woodies indicators. I find publicly posted charts are a great source of manipulation. Too often, people are lazy, and would rather just look at someone else's chart, rather than create their own. It is my opinion that using anyone else's charts but your own is a losing strategy, and I will not waste my time with losers. My intent in creating this board is to foster a community of folks who engage in learning technical analysis by creating your own charts, and by sharing their own current charts *PRIVATELY*. This will be a platonic approach to exploring technical analysis. Spoon-feeding will be avoided by all posters. Read Plato's "The Meno" if you want to know where I'm coming from. This board is for thinkers and doers. Watchers may be welcome, but probably will not benefit much. Publicly directing someone to where they might find the answer to a question is highly encouraged. Publicly answering someone's request for a definition of terms by fully defining those terms in a post is discouraged and is considered spoon-feeding. Discussion of T/A in textual form is highly encouraged. The inclusion of specific reasoning behind chosen chart intervals and indicator periods is highly encouraged as well. Publicly spoon-feeding people with information is highly DISCOURAGED, and will be deleted. If you want to spoon-feed someone, do it privately. This will not be a place for launching the careers of heros, nor will it be a place for herding sheep. I expect many posts here to be over the casual reader's head, and that is what is intended. If casual readers refer to what is posted here as foreign like a tribal African language, then I consider that a success. There will be no dumbing down. Either you're motivated to learn the terminology and method on your own, or you're not. We're going to take this to another level. This board is decidedly elitist. My hopes are that what is discussed in textual posts here will in turn motivate readers here to validate the information posted by creating and annotating their own charts. That, along with fostering personal relationships through private sharing of charts and T/A, are my goals. If you're not in agreement with the stated program here, then please don't post. This board will not be a free-for-all, and it will be actively censored and moderated to fit the program. Blatant pumps or bashes will be deleted, and repeated attempts to pump or bash will get you banned. It goes without saying that if you have a free I-HUB account, you had better pay up, because the ability to PM will be important if you want to be an active part of the PITW community. Again, let me reiterate that the focus of this board is specifically on the use of Woodies CCI methods on stocks and indexes, with preference to microcap stocks and indexes.. Other indicators may be mentioned, such as MACD, ADX, etc... but the mentioning of these other indicators should be limited to the context of how they support or contradict what is indicated by Woodies CCI. Place to start learning about Woodies CCI: www.woodiescciclub.com _____________________________________________________ Woodies CCI Terminology, indicators, and patterns include: 14 period Commodity Channel Index (CCI) 6 period Commodity Channel Index (Turbo CCI, or TCCI) 34EMA 25LSMA Woodies ChopZone Indicator (CZ) Woodies Sidewinder Indicator (SW) Hook From Extremes (HFE) Zero-Line Reject (ZLR) patterns Famir patterns Vegas Trade patterns Ghost trade patterns Tony Trade Patterns GB100 Patterns mittens whipsaws bumps Ticks and timebars Heat Trendlines Trendline breaks and Horizontal TrendLine Breaks (TLB's and HTLB's) Up/Down Trend confirmations Trend and Countertrend trades Zero Line, +50/+100/+200 lines, -50/-100/-200 lines _____________________________________________________ DISCLAIMER: Please keep in mind that Woodies CCI method was developed and backtested specifically for Forex trading. The application of Woodies CCI to stocks is *extremely* unorthodox. There are no guarantees made here to the success or usefulness of the application of Woodies CCI methods on stocks mentioned here or on stocks in general. Your mileage may vary greatly, all caveats apply. Nobody should consider what any poster says without verifying the validity, context, motive, and value of the content and coming to their own conclusions. All posts are not to be taken as buy, hold, or sell recommendations, and all readers are encouraged to follow their own path. Finally, I'd like to offer specific thanks to Ken Wood and to so many other generous folks who have contributed to the development and improvement of Woodies CCI. If you can dig where I'm looking to go with this, then by all means, WELCOME! -m0m0mey0 Example:
