I live in Seattle and just for fun I went to two locations. They were very close to each other and I would have gone to another right down the street but I got the jitters in a big way. The first on 99 was basically a trailer with a baristas sign. Not very pretty but there were five carsin line. Two on each side and me. When I left there were three more in line counting both sides. I found it surprising that this was at 10:30am. Aside from my family truckster they were mostly pickup trucks and one service vehicle from a plumbing company. The girl had nothing to say other than that she loved her job and that she had worked for the main lady before and said she was the queen. I did ask how she felt about the other management and she said that other than that she did not have enough pictures on the website and that she had to drive an hour to get to work that she loved it. The other stand only had a line of two plus me. The coffee was very good at both except that I really did not need the 16 tall and they charged me for an extra shot. Hence the jitters. There has been a lot of news about these kind of stands lately so I was expecting more skin. Thankfully both girls were dressed tastefully.
I used to go to Seattle about 4 times a year for business. I will have to see when I can go next. TK
It's just one of many tools!
I think the business plan is sound. As long as BH doesn't mess with the stock if there is any.
I used to hang out at a local bar/restaurant in Kirkland, Wa. In the parking lot a coffee stand set up. It didn't take long to catch on, most days there were 3,4 cars backed up.
The owners girl friend helped out when some called in sick or hung over. The girl was very attractive, the back up increased to 5,6 cars when she worked. One hot summer day, the GF filled in but just came from the lake shore in here bikini top. The back up went around the parking lot. IDEA!!! From that point ALL girls worked in their bikinis. Bidness went ballistic. The owners soon opened 1/2 doz more. A few months passed, the girl was driving a paid for Escalade, and he a bright Yellow Ferrari!
I would be all for it if it was valid info, but it won't be.
This article explains: Why Google Earth imagery is not in real time.
Google Earth acquires the best imagery available, most of which is approximately one to three years old.
http://earth.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=21414
Pangea only started acquiring these stands in August 2009, but most of them were acquired in the last 60 days.
In some cases, not all. I can see my house with my vehicle in the drive way, at most 6 months old. Couple Google earth with zillow and one gets fairly current.
Google Earth uses images from years in the past..
Barry Henthorn: "Everything is not perfect. We are feeling the pains of growing so fast. Did some things right and some wrong. Learning and having fun along the way. Building stands take about 90 to 120 days to get up to producing what we like."
I asked Barry how many locations are operational, serving cafe, earning revenues as of tomorrow.
His answer: "12."
I asked Barry to update the site saying that he told me there were 11 locations yet the website has 13.
He said Pangea has 13 stores now. The 13th is opening tomorrow.
Barry texted me the answers to the two questions about:
1. The Poulsbo location.
2. Payment to Baristas.
Below are the exact answers he gave me:
"We turned Poulsbo into a mobile barista brigade unit last Friday. It is better. It was just too far away to service and we need a unit for events and promotions and it is an approved trailer so we moved it the day after Thanksgiving."
"All Baristas have been paid."
That would be good information for the board. Thanks.
Truck,
You from Oregon? If so South bound on I-5, there are a few locations in Everett, Wa. The main drag is West of I-5 a few blocks, you could come in from the North of town and drive about 2.5 miles and hit 2-3 if the addresses are real. Then turn East back on to I-5 South.
When is your trip planed? I'll try to get on with google earth and tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find.
11 money making store is not quit accurate. As I posted the store located at HWY 9 & SR 524 failed under BH'S watch or is being remodeled by BH. But in either case there's no revenue at this moment. I will check the other locations to see if they're up and running and by who.
I don't see the wheels coming off this puppy..
Looks like it's growing by leaps and bounds.
12.5 Million shares in the float and 11 MONEY EARNING stores.
As far as you and your informant are concerned, your credibility is zero.
Really? The wheels are coming off this puppy, and you post that it is MY credibility that is questionable? That's chutzpah.
This location is quite good. AM-PM traffic from 4 directions. Easy on/off.
I know, I used HWY 9 almost daily.
I know they are very busy remodeling most of the stores they acquired over the last several months..
If it is being remodeled, it is probably a PGEA store.
I called the AM/PM store on the corner of HWY 9 and SR 524.
3 weeks ago there was a drive thru coffee stand. It's been closed since then and is currently being remodeled. The clerk I spoke with didn't recall the name of the former bidness, or the new one.
Using Google earth the drive thru can be seen, but can't be ID'D
One can conclude that the listing on BH'S web site for this location is out of date. Should any be curious, one could call Coldwell/Banker as the fir is the listing agent.

There is no location in Poulsbo, I was up there over Thanksgiving weekend. When you talk to him ask himabout bounced checks and unpaid vendors. Also ask him about his average sales per location.. Get him to e-mail that, so in case we need to track it down.
Please give me the details on this, I will get it cleared up.
Barry has told me there are 11 locations.
Naturally you think he's lying because you lost money on RLTR. I will give you the 11 addresses so that you can see he is not lying.
Bad management is not why RLTR failed. RLTR failed because there were no revenues.
No customers will do that to a business, ya know?
This is off topic.
That is a stupid question, they are not publicly trading right now, so why should anyone care , why is there a discussion board on this stock?
I care because I own BH comapny stock in the past and I do not want anyone else to get what happen to the stockholders of his other companies and lose money by bad management.
I do care about PGEA to keep it on topic
Why do you care? Are you a shareholder?
The truth is how much supplies they buy and how much they charge for each cup of to figure out their sales. I did the math it is average under $350 per location
Went to Poulsbo No Barista stand there liek Barista's website says, Barista is own by PGEA, that is on topic. ALL True
I have no information about it.
Bounced PGEA Checks is the topic Unpaid Bills by PGEA is the topic
I've said it many times before people, keep it ON-TOPIC here.
I am not the topic.
I am not a mouthpiece. I haven't said a damn word.. People ask for info, I go and get it, and give it to them. Look down the board and see people asking for info. Check the ICTN board too.. People asking for info there too. I get it and report back. Now you're going to call me a "mouthpiece" for the company because I got info for people?
What's your problem with me? I'm in the same boat as you. I have zero PGEA shares, I have old ICTN shares that are apparently worthless and getting more so as you people don't want to give this guy a chance.
If you have a witch-hunt, go for it. Present facts, and if they're true I'll consider joining your cause. Otherwise, leave me alone.
Why is your name reeltruth when all you do is spread rumors? Do you have any factual information to share?
And the employees checks are bouncing, like basketballs at university of michigan. I see ASUS has not responded about the bounced checks, but he responds if something he thinks something is good about PGEA, i guess BH has no answer to tell him about bounced checks and unpaid bills and rent, they are growing buying stands with stock (no cash)but rumor has it each stand only does about $350 a day, so they all are losing money rumor from owners of espresso stands in the seattle area, also i was in poulsbo over thanksgiving and there is no Barista espresso there like there website says. ASUS where are you?
Updated info on Pink Shhets. 48 employees!!
One think I know is that in Seattle there are many want to be Baristas but it seams that the one company that is growing and staying out of the news for the right reasons so far is this one. Does anyone know if this is something that can be bought into? I made money on Barrys last company but only because I bought right and sold on enough bumps.
PGEA (Baristas) checks are bouncing....I was the original one who said that the girls checks were bouncing and the vendors checks were bouncing or they were not getting paid, my friend has an espresso stand in the Seattle area and he said that, he knows this for a fact. The other person who replied went and did research to see if my statement was true and he found it to be true, ASUS maybe you need to do some research toooo. I also found out through my friend that the stands they have now were bought with stocks of the company with the impression the stock will go live with in the month at 5 cents a share. So they have not bought anything with cash, just the normal BS promise and big talk from BH. I never worked for BH, so i was not fired. lol
I didn't get that from his post! TK
You came on here saying the locations are not owned by PGEA and he's a liar, blah blah, then came back and said your informant changed her story and they are owned by PGEA... As far as you and your informant are concerned, your credibility is zero.
If I expose my informant she will be fired, and that's not gonna happen because of me. Kill the messenger, huh? Bad news is bad news, while you are whistling past the graveyard the facts ain't gonna change. Man, you gotta dig yourself before it's too late. It may already be too late.
BTW, I was not fired, I quit. The lies Henthorn told about me, even tricking the Felgenhauers into making a false police report, are the bone I have to pick with him, and I am gratified to see the progress being made toward his downfall, and he did it - is doing it - all by himself.
It will not be long now.
No answer? No response to my challenge?
I offer to abandon my stance for a shed of proof of your allegations, and you ignore it. Figures.
He said, she said ... We need VIDEO !!!
I suggest you get your stories straight before coming here and making stuff up to try to get back at Barry for firing you...
This is too funny. What is this, a comedy skit?
What makes you go "hmmmmmm !TK" The fact that his initial report about the location was entirely false and misleading?
Did you even notice that he changed his story around? First time he said the location doesn't belong to PGEA because he asked a minimum wage employee there if she knows Barry. Now he asked this little girl again and got "a different story."
Maybe you should do a little research of your own because his is entirely faulty.
Where on my previous visit the barista had no idea that their ownership had changed, now she had a different story
