Jordin Sparks spicing up NTSB attentive driving forum- march 27

"American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks will be heading to D.C. next week to take part in the National Transportation Safety Board's Attentive Driving Forum. Sparks has been involved in the cause of distracted driving prevention for a couple of years now, coming to the District and holding court with Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood at Union Station back in 2010. She will be joined by race car driver Andy Pilgrim at the Tuesday event, which takes place at the NTSB Conference Center and Board Room. Fans of Sparks, Pilgrim or attentive driving are welcome to attend, though seating is limited. The forum starts at 8:30 a.m.

Thanks guys for the clarification on any announcements. This is all so very exciting. What I don't get is what happened to all the arguments and controversy hitting the fan over the week end. Nothings really changed other than being one day closer to an announcement and the concert. It's truely amazing how both sides can make a case that is so convincing. I actually thought seriously about selling my position first thing this morning because of all that was said over the weekend. LOL NOT

hey car, maybe 1 of my posts confused you. i posted few days ago that when i talked to randall james a week ago , he stated to me that the major sponsors of this huge event was phoneguard, florida atlantic university and motorola.

This is why people shouldn't say anything about anything until it happens. That way nobody will be put on the spot because of statements that are made. People need to give it a rest about when the headliner announcement will be made. If I were Mr. Randall I wouldn't say another word about anything. Period. Some posters on here are like Vulchers on a dead animal on Mr. Randall. This gentleman really didn't need to say a thing about the concert but he did and now when things aren't happening like he stated he has no creditability. That is so laughable. Mr. Randall will announce the headliner when he is legally able to. Please go to the gym and work out your frustrations. JMHO. Go OPMG.

I agree with Stocker3. It is not disturbing at all. I also have never heard of Izup/Illume Software until news of a merger. As minimal as PhoneGuard's marketing has been, I have yet to see a different app that has market MORE than PhoneGuard. The one who markets the most will be the winner, and so far PhoneGuard has the most (I admit, it is not much yet).

BUT...and I do mean but, let's not forget; Bieber's involvement will get fired up "during the release of his new album and throughout his summer tour" per St. Clair in the CC. He did firmly state that Bieber is only a part of the marketing. Bieber's new album is around the corner. We will need to wait and see what happens before we draw any conclusions. TWO main menu items work when you on them: "the Cause" and "National Fundraiser". The submenu items do not work yet because they are not done with those pages yet. I haven't looked at this site before today so I don't know what was on there before compared to now. But what I do know is that, like PhoneGuard.com once was, this site is still being developed. I'm sure it will be more complete with info in the next few days.

Doesn't disturb me at all. PhoneGuard will be the solution for Anti-Texting and Driving. I never heard of Illume until OPMG was looking into acquiring it. Doesn't matter what is on IZup's site. If no one knows to look there.. no one will know they exist. If a client wants to purchase IZup.. chances are they will go through PhoneGuard.
I don't think either company has updated their websites after the 'non-acquisition'. I think they are still in talks. IMO.
PhoneGuard will be the #1 Solution.

No marketing firm. I am sure they are in the process of signing a new marketing firm. We don't have any proof or details what happened with Zimmerman. It could have been because of the acquisition timing. The company can re-hire them. Or hire a new firm.
